The Author of these articles believe the offering could be
priced under $1 or have a lot of warrants attached.
Read it for what it is worth - free article.
Remember the author is heavily shorted BIOL. He dreams of BIOL going to zero - no need to cover!
However, I agree with you - not going long too much until the offering is completed.
Thank you, John. Your 300M-400M buyout cost is now down to less than 100M!
The three companies you mentioned are great ones to the deal. They can use 50/50 cash/stock for the transaction for relatively nothing and pick up a nice piece of growing business.
BIOL seems to be at a point to become attractive for a buy out by other major health care players. A well matched buy out or merger may help its operation all around. And now the whole comapny could be bought out on the cheap.
I know so little about this sector that I wish some one else will share their views on this possibility.
Down momentum and technical break down of a small cap stock?
If you believe in this company's fundamentals, it is good area to buy a few shares.
I was buying yesterday. I am buying today. However, I will not chase up the market too much until the $5 million offering is completed.
BIOL has 32 M shares outstanding with over $64 M in sales. It is in an interesting field with lots of patents. It is worth more than the current market valuation caused by the inexperience of the management in at least the financial aspect of the operation.
Is BIOL trading halted? Cannot get my buy order filled on the ask.
John,
I'm new to this company and its field. I wonder if anyone knows that this company might become a buy out target by another?
Thanks,
George
The money managers are ruthless. This visciuos cycle is floorless in nature. Some may go as far to start selling shares at current prices with deal being made at much lower prices.
That is why a seasoned CEO and or CFO is so crucial for a young and growing company.
Wondering if any sugar daddy might step in and scoop up chunk of this outfit for keep, or just a bunch of sharks circling around this financially poorly managed company?
I wonder if anyone knows more about the CEO story? Could it be related to the extreme weak stock performance?
Is there an employment contract with Federico Pignatelli? Probably no, thus the rumor?
Your bid at 18 surely will push the print at leat 2 up...
PBSOQ is sold. So, what does it mean to the common share holders? Is there still any value in it? How much?
I am one of the normal folks. I have had great experience with Microsoft Security Essentials.
I just bought a new HP window 7 machine loaded with Norton AV. After I download the Microsoft Security Essentials, is htere a true value in paying for the Norton AV?
Thanks in advance.
Does anyone know the number of outstanding PBSOQ shares?
The more I read about all the court papaers the more confused I become.
Someone is buying the shares today. Why?
Only in America! All else fails, just claim insanity.
It seems that one of the accredited holders is buying all shares dumped in the market at $0.25. Why $0.25, and not any other price?
Thank you so much. I'll do the letter.
On the residual value of the PBSOQ common, since the reported debts are greater than the assets, it seems that the common should be trading at near zero now, or after the reorganization is implemented. Is this the reason why the debt holders would hope to do, that is to gain 100% debt repayment, and thus own the company outright, and make the current common worthless?
First, thank you for informing this thread about what's happening with PBSO's proceeding.
For small investors who own a few shares of PBSOQ, can you or anyone elaborate as to "what might be the best course of actions to take to protect our own interest?"
Thanks in advance,
George
On HAUP 10 millions share day is on the way.
On Haup, it's just past 10AM, the entire count of outstanding shares of 11 mm have been turned over! It is up $1.35 to $4.35 from $3.
Buying on the dip if there is one.
Haup at $1 was just its cash in the bank (and no debt). It has fewer than 11 mm shares. This news could really mean somthing huge. After all, it will not take much to have substantial eps.
I believe HAUP was one of ZEEV's favorite value plays.
There was a rumor that you were squeezed big time
Nice to know you are live and well. The board miss your posts.
Thank you for the post. I appreciate your continued sharing of the info.
PBSO is valued at less than $20 million market cap I believe because it is very risky from the on-going investigation.
PBSO nice chart. Great call.
I wonder if anyone can update the board on when PBSO may leave pink sheet and go back to higher tier market?
Shorts are being killed, and burned to ashes.
What is the TXCOQ OS?
Is it well financed for the current cash burn and project requirements?
Yes, I have.
I have tried a few others including paying $29 for a Reg Scan program that claims will fix the problem. Guess what, it did not fix it.
I am going to use Firefox for a while.
Ultimately, I probably will restore it back to when I bought it new from HP.
The site will not let me download IE7 once it detects already installed in Vista. So, I downloaded and installed IE8. It does not fix the problem.
Vista sucks.
I have problem locating IE7. My notebook runs Vista. In the Program and Feature tap of Control Panel, it does not list IE7 (at least I could not find it).
How do I uninstall program that is not included in this?
When IE7 fails to show web pages, the diagnosed error is 403 asking me to report to Administrator. But I am the Administrator.
Firefox runs fine.
I'll try it. Thanks.
Bruce and company:
I lost internet browsing capability on my IE7 on my notebook. I followed the trouble shooting instruction and could not fix it. I even reset IE to original setting.
Firefox browser still works.
Please advise.
Thanks,
George
Not only GS exec are protected, he is helping huge transfer of taxpayer funds to GS.
It is dirty politics at its worst.
>>Do you believe it will ever hit 0.10?<<
Another pump and dump will do it.
DRYS indeed is in very bad shape. Short term debt is something like 1.6 billion. The dilution on the common from 45 million to 153 million shares in just a few months.
However, it is a great trading stock.
Kevin:
Thanks for the write up - among the best ways to remember Zeev - the great trader and a great guy on the web.
I miss him a great deal especially during our currrent hard time. I'd have loved to ask Zeev to chime in on the current financial crises and opportunities.
George
I wonder if any one can chime in on the Shareholders Meeting on 3/10/2009 in Chicago? Additionally, can any one comment on the five proposed individuals for the Board of Directors?
Which bak?
To a management team that turned down buyout in the $5 range vs where it is trading, it is hard to show any faith.
Is the current PBSO management team self serving more than anything else?
LINE reported huge loss for 2007:
>>The company reported a loss of $203.2 million, or $2.01 per unit, compared with a loss of $6.1 million, or 16 cents per unit, in the prior year.<<

Am I missing something here? Trading loss is still a loss, or is it not?
A energy company can possess great reserve and still end up losing shirt if hedge its output recklessly.
While I love the temptation of the high yield, I just do not understand how they can take such a huge loss...
