Itaconix CEO on 2025 strategy and profitability goals

Itaconix PLC (AIM:ITX, OTCQB:ITXXF) CEO John Shaw joined Steve Darling from Proactive to provide an update on the company’s progress following its strategic restructuring and to discuss what lies ahead for 2025. Shaw highlighted that the company ended 2024 with strong momentum, achieving nearly $3.7 million in revenue in the second half, marking one of its highest-ever earnings periods. The restructuring initiative focused on enhancing profitability, with a significant emphasis on reshaping the customer base. Shaw noted, “We actually increased our gross profit margin from about 31% to almost 35% last year.” Despite experiencing lower revenue in some areas, the company was able to maintain steady gross profits due to its emphasis on margin improvement. Shaw also discussed significant product developments, including the launch of Itaconix TSI 422, a new detergent ingredient that is gaining traction in North America and Europe. He further explained how the SPARX program, introduced in October, is helping accelerate customer collaboration in key product categories, positioning the company for continued growth. Data security: archTIS lands key licensing deal

archTIS Ltd CEO and Managing Director Daniel Lai talked with Proactive about a newly signed $390,000 licensing agreement with a major Japanese multinational. The deal builds on archTIS’s acquisition of Direktiv and its integration of advanced cybersecurity technology into its Trusted Data Integration platform. Lai explained that the licensing agreement enables the Japanese company—an asset services provider with operations valued at $12.5 billion—to introduce new data-centric security services into the Japanese market. “This is just another example of that occurring, which is really exciting for the company,” Lai said, referring to archTIS’s broader international expansion strategy. He noted that the company had always planned to replicate its success with the Australian Department of Defence and local defence industrial base in overseas markets, particularly those facing geopolitical pressures. Lai also highlighted progress in the US and Europe, where trials were recently completed with a large US department and NATO in the UK. Looking ahead, he remained “quietly optimistic” about meeting financial targets by June 30 and delivering further material updates to the market. Tamboran Resources boosts NT gas supply with Arafura deal

Tamboran Resources Ltd CEO Joel Riddle talked with Proactive about the company's newly signed letter of intent (LOI) with Arafura Resources Ltd to supply gas from the Beetaloo Basin. Riddle explained that both companies are based in the Northern Territory, and the agreement supports local strategic projects by providing 25 terajoules (TJs) per day to Arafura's critical minerals project. The agreement aligns with Tamboran’s strategy of prioritising Northern Territory gas use. “We’re a Northern Territory company. We’ve been focused on appraising the Beetaloo Basin now for all 12 years I’ve been in my job,” Riddle said, highlighting the company’s long-term commitment to the region. Riddle also pointed out the environmental edge of Beetaloo Basin gas, which has a CO2 content of about 3%, significantly lower than the 15–20% typically found in other Australian basins. He said supplying this low-carbon gas to the East Coast would help reduce emissions by displacing higher-carbon alternatives. Discussing supply capacity, Riddle compared the Beetaloo to the Marcellus Shale in the US, noting it could provide enough gas to support the East Coast for “hundreds of years”. Tamboran plans to bring 40 TJs per day online in the first half of next year under an existing 15-year agreement with the NT Government. The Arafura deal will add a further 25 TJs daily. Riddle said work is underway with pipeline partner APA to ensure infrastructure capacity. The company aims to finalise a binding gas sales agreement with Arafura soon. Nexus Minerals expands Payns Find gold target

Nexus Minerals Ltd managing director Andy Tudor talked with Proactive about the latest exploration success at the Payns Find gold target, part of the company's Wallbrook Gold Project in Western Australia. Tudor described the program as “exciting” following a third air core drilling campaign that confirmed high-grade intercepts and significantly expanded the mineralised footprint. He said, “All of the attributes for a big system are here,” highlighting consistent grades of up to 5.99g/t at the extremities of a 900m by 750m target zone. The air core results revealed both supergene and fresh rock mineralisation, with around 30% of the 163 holes showing elevated geochemistry in the final metre — a strong indicator of a large underlying system. “It’s that grade in the supergene and in the fresh rock that’s got us excited,” Tudor said. He also pointed to the presence of a full suite of alteration minerals — cerussite, rutile, tourmaline, and albite — typically associated with major gold systems in the region. With the air core phase now complete, Nexus is turning to reverse circulation (RC) drill planning. Tudor confirmed that air core drilling would continue regionally, while the company prepares for a comprehensive RC program at Payns Find to test depth extensions down to 120–150m.
