I have been long PCES for years, but now that this has happened, I admit that I am totally confused! Can anyone shake this out for me and explain in simple (I am clearly dim) terms what the situation will be after the dust settles?

Is this good for a long like me, or not?

It sure would be nice to know if there is anything going on here. The stock has been trading almost on a daily basis lately and that has not been the norm over the years. IMHO it looks like some accumulation over the past few days unless again there is some selling between the bid and ask with no price reflection.

Has anyone tried to contact Pappajohn lately re: PCES?? I guess I'm just grasping at straws for any info from anywhere.

I haven't been in this as long as you have but very close. Hopefully this doesn't take another 8 years to complete. If that bid goes up anymore I might have to take some off the of table.

Looks like a lot of dumping going on over the last few weeks. What is confusing to me is that the share price is not reacting to what looks like selling. Won't the share price fall through the floor if there is dump selling happening considering the low float PCES has? Seems like some price manipulation going on here so who ever is selling is getting good share price until they are done. I use FreeRealTime.com and monitor the BID/ASK updates and time&sales to see trading during the day. It looks to me that a lot of selling or a lot of buying at or close to the bid price which has been nearly impossible with PCES over the years.

I've been holding this stock since 1999 and have never seen it trading like this. Recent trading doesn't really give me a great feeling as to the future of this stock BUT of course this is all IMHO.

I will have to take a look at that one. pces has 17 million in loss carry forwards, and about 1.75 million in cash. The float is 3,441,414 and o/s is around 5.7 million. It has been a shell for almost eight years and if they get a deal done it will fly. If you aren't too familiar with John Papajohn I would check him out, he is a very well respected in Iowa. There will be some dillution because the preffered holders will be owed shares, but he is looking for a perfect fit. He didn't wait almost eight years to put something sketchy in here, when this gets done it is going to be great. I wouldn't be suprised to see a bid above $2 if a deal is done. The only question is how long is it going to take. I just hope it isn't another eight years:)

There are a ton of shady shells out there, but this one is for real and when they do get a deal done, we will be cashing in.

indeed i do have a position, and i try and add when i can. i watched it throughout the day, and i think you're probably right. tho nice to see some activity, in the end it seemed to have no true significance. i only hold a couple shells...this one and BDEV (previously ATHO)

Not too much, it was probably just market makers trying to suck people into buying. It is a mystery if this will ever get done, but if it done, it should be a 6-10 bagger. Do you have a position?
