YOU PUT A SELL IN YOUR QUICKEN AND SUBMIT IT TO THE IRS FID DOESNT WANT TO BE BOTHERED
I'm trying to get Fidelity to remove this from my account but they won't!
They say:
-----------------
Your Nct Group Inc have not yet been declared worthless. A security can be declared legally worthless only in the cases given below:
- The bankruptcy court has declared the company bankrupt under Chapter 7 or 11
- The company has no shareholder equity
----------------
This is unbelievable. How can I prove to Fidelity that the company no longer exists? They said they opened up a case to research this and still came back to me that they could not remove this from my account.
I suspect the reason that they are acting this way is because they think there is still money there. They are wrong and this is why. Morton and Carole Salkind had lent NCT $38.4 million dollars (Morton later went to prison for one of New Jersey’s largest individual tax frauds.) In 2004, NCT was being sued in Delaware by PRG and in CT by Metcoff and Wilson. In the Delaware case the CFO admitted that funds were being deposited into subsidiaries to keep them out of reach. That case was settled out of court. In the CT case, both Michael Parrella and NCT were sued and lost. There are outstanding judgments against Parrella for over $2 million and separately against NCT for over $2 million all earning interest since 2011. The question everyone is asking is, “Where is the money?” The Salkinds filed for bankruptcy and the trustee is still trying to find it.
I believe the money was being held in Pro Tech Communications, a subsidiary of NCT. The problem Parrella had was getting it out and cleaning it up so he could use it. This is how he did it. In 2008, Augustin-Mokrane Belmadi-Berkaine (an alleged international criminal), the Vatican and others obtained over $14 billion in Mexican Sovereign bonds. Belmadi-Berkaine then approached Michael Parrella to monetize them (use them as a way to launder money). Together they started a company called Four Crystal Funding. Four Crystal then purchased 85% of Pro Tech Communications, which immediately invested it in GTherm. (The Mexican government said the bonds are real, but because they are so old and there is no market for them, the value could not be determined.) So Parrella, through Four Crystal, picks up the money stashed in Pro Tech and starts a new company GTherm. And that is where it is today.
Michael Parrella abandoned 931,175,126 shares of NCT. He took the shareholders money and ran, and so far has gotten away with it.
Any "new" news? Trying to find out when and how to sell to deduct my losses and it doesn't seem as simple as it should be. It also seems like the company is completely dead.
I asked my broker (Schwab) and they came back with a canned and vague phrase about "abandoning shares" and....a bunch of unhelpful silence. It made me picture a spider holding tight while feeling the web shake and the pray is trapped beyond help. I suspect Schwab (or friends)have a way to pick the shares up once abandoned and that they are not really giving me advice per say or saying anything in my best interest!
Any links to real info or knowledge to the state of the company or on how to take a loss and move on?
Hopefully mr. P is no longer with us:)
I'm shocked at how uninformed Mr. Parella is. NCTI has about 1 billion shares short in trader positions, and all he needs to do is file a tax return and a Form 4 and the shares could trade in triple digits. Could he possible be that uninformed?
Anyone speak to good old Mikie P.?
My accountant states that delisting or revoking your ability to trade on an open market has nothing to do with the company being dissolved.
Ask your broker. You can easily take your tax loss, I'm quite sure.
The stock was revoked, so the shell and symbol don't exist.
By law, NCTI does not cice to exist until it is officially dissolved. Until that can be proven by documentation, the shell still exists. I have no hope either, but I need proof NCTI has been dissolved, then I can without question take my tax losses.
Well, common sense indicates the company is 100% kaput. No one has been in contact with them for years, Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, and, then, due to years of not filing, the SEC revoked the stock this July.
What more do you want?
OK, here's more

You know for a fact that the company has been dissolved. If so, where's the documentation.
It no longer exists. Not opinion, but fact
I never said to sell. You asked how to get rid of these shares and I told you.
This company has been de-listed...Fact
It no longer exists. In my opinion.
Why sell until you know for a fact that the company has been dissolved. I can't find a site that verifies that the company has actually been dissolved. If it hasn't, it's still a shell company.
You don't sell them. Your broker will remove them from your account for a small fee. then you take your loss.
I'm holding mine until next year, I have all the losses I need this year.
I have 2 questions for anyone out there. One, how do you sell at 0 to take the tax loss when you can't trade the stock and show the loss. Secondly, is there anyone who can verify whether or not NCTI as a company has literally dissolved itself. If it hasn't, it's still a shell company. Is their a website in Connecticut that lists whether or not a company has been dissolved. Thanks to all.
I thought I read somewhere that the SEC or Federal Cout would not allow NCTI to filed Bankruptcy. Can anyone verify this? Thanks.
Newbie question here...If they get revoked, that means they are no longer viable even as a shell?
Thanks
No piggyback exception with any revocation. The piggyback rule occured before revocation when one Market Maker had sponsored the stock and other MM's " piggybacked " off the sponsoring MM.
"piggyback" exception???
YAY, it's heart is still beating, w00t w00t
Volume again today. Anybody know anything here? TIA
I just noticed that Fidelity has the symbol back to NCTI in my account. Not exactly sure when that happened.
Yeah, it's weird. I don't get it. I thought trading was suspended on this.
So I guess this means the official end of NCTI is approaching?
The symbol in my Fidelity account was changed from NCTI to 62888Q109

I guess this is coming back from oblivion...
ummm maybe not
Here we go again with the pumpers trying to get the newbies to bite at this dead company. Unbelievable!

You are full of it. This is a dead non reporting shell...no execs of any kind are left. It has no value, period.
watch you will see.. time will tell you..
Do tell.
This time maybe try telling us a little about how you came to post that stuff....or at least how it is relevant to this dead shell.

Like I said, soon to come........ Did u guys see the support today, I'm positive it was more than just me at .0002
I see now why the stock bounces around. It's just pump and dumpers that are getting suckers to buy in. That sucks. I have a ton of this stock from back when they actually existed. So, I guess I will just let it sit in the back of my junk pile until they either totally die or get a RM for the shell. I wonder how often that happens?
WOW HUGE VOLUME SOMEBODY IS COLLECTING

Unable to find current information on company. Stock exploded 500% today 2/22/2011 and appears there may be something going on behind the scenes. For the time being it seems that the stock is moving purely off of momentum. And it has been moving very easily as it appears that the float is really low. Please submit any current information.
