US Dataworks Disrupts Traditional Lockbox and Remittance Processing with Expanded Partner Program
The Addition of Highly Successful Resellers to the US Dataworks Partner Program Creates a New Business Model for the Replacement of Traditional Lockbox with Clearingworks Cloud Payment Processing Solutions
SUGAR LAND, Texas, Nov. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- US Dataworks, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: UDWK), a leader in cloud payment processing solutions, takes aim at traditional lockbox and remittance processing solutions by expanding our network of influential resellers eager to bring the power and simplicity of Clearingworks to their customer base. The addition of four strategically selected resellers more than doubles our access to financial institutions and corporate billers in the northeast, mid-Atlantic, central and west regions and creates a powerful new channel for the replacement of aging and outdated remittance processing systems.
Building a Powerful Channel to Quickly Reach Thousands of Customers
The newly signed partners, ERJ Solutions, PMI Technologies, Quality Data Systems (QDS), and Technology Unlimited, Inc. (TUI), were selected based on their proven success in bringing the best payment processing solutions to their customers. When combined with our existing resellers, US Dataworks now has channel partners to reach thousands of financial institutions, government agencies and businesses.
Marc Palombo, Senior Vice President of Sales for US Dataworks stated, "The key to our success is through selectively developing like-minded partners who are focused on growing revenues in the payments processing marketplace. Clearingworks cloud lockbox and remittance processing solutions are the perfect fit. The ease of real-time processing and cloud delivery combined with simplicity of support yields a substantial recurring revenue stream that is a natural extension of our partners' business."
The Time is Right for Expansion
According to a 2012 Celent report on the State of Remote Deposit Capture, only 15% of the banks between $1billion and $50 billion in assets are currently offering remote or cloud based lockbox solutions. This leaves ample room for expansion by US Dataworks' channel partners. In addition, successful document imaging and check scanning resellers are looking for ways to build on the customer relationships they have nurtured for years. New cloud deliver models, like Clearingworks, provide the right opportunity for equipment resellers and business consultants to expand their services and build a valuable recurring revenue stream.
Cloud Hosting Partners Initiative
UDW has allied iteself with Rackspace and Dell to host their Clearingworks Payments Platform in a cloud or Sas environment allowing numerous prospects to adopt and implement payments capabilities quickly, efficiently and at a lower cost than other payments processing offerings of other industry players.
Strategic Alliance Network Musings
Here is what I think. US Dataworks strategic partners may be supplying custom features or hardware as well as opening their customer base to Clearingworks. We know that Cannon is introducing UDW to its resellers. Burroughs may be doing the same as Cannon. I believe NCR or RDM is developing the planned addition of Simply Mobile Deposit and Billtrust is involved in bill presentment. If NCR or RDM is building the Mobile Remote Check Deposit app they may be using Mitek's software while BillTrust is handling the bill presentment programing.
Given the above I am not certain that NCR, RDM or BillTrust will be reselling or using Clearingworks for their business yet that is a possibility. NCR could easily use Clearingworks to process payments for their NCR Silver merchant clients. Who knows what Burroughs and RDM bring to the table. A PR explaining the value or goals of thes unknown alliances would add clarity for investors and shareholders. If these alliances provide a gateway to the clients of each company listed on the UDW website then this is truely a good thing.
http://www.usdataworks.com/partners/
Build It and Volume Will Come!
UDW must prove its model will gain traction, generate revenue and produce significant income before the investors place their hard earned money on the line.
IMHO it will come but not until after the next earnings report which should be flat as predicted during the last conference call. It should be a hot time for this stock during the summer!

You know...I see a daily channel with this ...but not sure the technicals play out so well with irradic and low volume.
Late Reply but : "Apparently not well" :)
Seems like UDWK is so well poised technically and when considering the types and sizes of contracts they have (ie. Cabella's and government) but I wonder if management has what it takes to monetize the company...make it profitable.
I've been with them for "quite" a while.

PRODUCTS
Clearingworks provides you with the four pillars of payment processing success.
Running a business is difficult. Processing and depositing payments from customers should be easy. That's where ClearPayments comes in. Our integrated, multi-channel, single payment platform allows you to process payments from several different channels, and helps reduce operational costs by streamlining the payment process into one fast, convenient platform.
ClearPayments allows you to process payments made via telephone and convert them into a more easily managed and tracked electronic format. We follow all regulatory guidelines, including the National Automated Clearing House Association and the Check 21 rules so you can rest assured of regulatory compliance.
Payments that are mailed to your office can be easily processed using your existing check scanners or transports, or with newer more cost-efficient check scanners. ClearPayments interfaces with all check scanning equipment, and eliminates the need for a separate lockbox processing system. Our check processing automation and optimized workflows save your operators time and improve posting accuracy.
Some customers prefer or need to make payments in-person, and with ClearPayments you can process those payments using Clearingworks. There is no need to use a separate system for payments collected at your own locations or service centers. For walk-in payments that are received at a grocery store or other authorized location, Clearingworks can accept their posting file and payment information for a truly integrated accounts receivable update.
ClearDeposits™
Once you have processed payments, the deposits must be converted into operating capital. ClearDeposits provides the capability to process payments in multiple ways depending on the cost structure and banking relationships of your business. We allow you to shift from expensive and wasteful paper-based systems to more efficient and cost effective electronic payments and deposits.
ClearDeposits will prepare ACH files for those payments that are eligible for ACH processing. These include payments that are received over the Internet, payments received from a mobile device, payments received by telephone or paper payments that can be converted to ACH. ACH is typically the lowest cost option for making deposits and comes with standard next-day availability of funds.
ClearDeposits provides the ability to convert paper checks into electronic image files according to the Check 21 and X9.100-187 standard. These image deposits can then be transmitted to your bank electronically, eliminating the need to transport checks to the bank.
In addition to preparing the Check 21 files for deposit, ClearDeposits can also perform duplicate detection, affix proper endorsements and with many financial institutions offer same-day or next-day availability of funds.
ClearDeposits helps reduce cost by converting eligible checks into ACH transactions, according to NACHA rules. In fact, we are the largest processor of ARC check conversions in the US. Converting checks to ACH transactions can save up to 60% on banking fees and provide guaranteed next-day availability of funds. Most companies receiving a high number of consumer payments can convert up to 80% of their checks to ACH transactions.
With ClearDeposits, it's easy to integrate your credit and debit card processing into your payment processing operations. You can reduce errors, identify potential duplicate payments and simplify management reporting. Customers can set up both automatic recurring payments as well as one-time payments in Clearingworks. Additionally, designated employees can take payments by phone or in-person.
You can also add value by reducing your PCI compliance requirements when you use Clearingworks to store your cardholder data. You'll also lower your costly interchange fees with our negotiated rates.
ClearReturns™
Not all payments are successfully cleared with the initial deposit. This results in a costly exception process for your company.
ClearReturns can reduce the time your company spends handling these exceptions by providing services such as automated returns matching and automated processing of resubmission and posting final returns status and fee assessments.
Whether returns are a result of an administrative error in the process of converting a paper check into an electronic version, or due to insufficient funds, ClearReturns can match the original document automatically, saving you time and increasing the accuracy of your returned-item processing. Plus ClearReturns can process returns under the Check 21 rules. No more waiting for the paper, or image replacement documents (IRDs) to come to your bank. Clearingworks will receive electronic files from your bank to expedite the process.
ClearInsights™
ClearInsights is the engine that powers the Clearingworks platform. It provides unmatched reporting capabilities to assist in tracking payment status and in producing detailed analytic information. This data is crucial in tracking payment trends and types, and in creating up-to-the-second progress reports.
ClearInsights simplifies control and reporting for compliance audits and other institutional quality control practices by allowing you to easily monitor payment progress across multiple platforms. You can also easily create charts, graphs, Excel spreadsheets or other management reporting tools to monitor the effectiveness of current processes and make improvements or adjustments where needed. All of this is done with a strict adherence to industry and regulatory privacy standards ensuring that protected information, such as checking account numbers, is not disclosed.
ClearInsights also serves as a data warehouse that helps you manage the retention of your records for 60 days, 2 years, 7 years or whatever your particular requirements are.
By streamlining the payment processing system into a single, easy-to-use, integrated platform, Clearingworks improves your productivity and your bottom line.
With over 8 million payments processed per day, Clearingworks gives you a proven, enterprise-class payment processing service and powerful payment analytics tools in one integrated solution for one simple price.
And we'll have you up and running in 30 days or less. Guaranteed!

PayItFast, a first-of-its-kind cloud-based solution for automating in-store (walk-in) payments, revolutionizes in-store payments by eliminating the need for a computer at the point of payment acceptance. Plus, PayItFast accepts all payment types, including checks, cards, and cash. PayItFast centralizes payments received at all locations into the Clearingworks payment platform for improved financial controls, ease of integration with Customer Information System (CIS) or accounting systems, and reduced processing costs. Businesses can now offer the convenience and timeliness of in-store payments without the hassle and expense of current product offerings.
Recent studies identified a growing trend in walk-in payments. According to the 2009 FDIC study, there are approximately 30 million households that are either unbanked or underbanked (meaning they regularly rely on services such as check cashing and payday loans).* As a result, the number of in-store bill payments is on the rise. In fact, an Aite Group study recently estimated the total number of in-store bill payments at 859 million in 2009, up substantially from 749 million in 2005, an increase of 15% over the four year period.** Unfortunately, walk-in payments are among the most costly transactions to process.
Until now, businesses were forced to rely on fragmented manual processes that delayed funds availability and inconvenienced customers. What's more, businesses struggle with limited counter space and staff training time, which is why PayItFast's compact design and streamlined operations is the perfect solution.
PayItFast is an App that extends the Clearingworks four pillars of modern payment processing:
US Dataworks has turned the concept of traditional walk-in payment processing on its head by delivering an affordable solution to an otherwise high-cost transaction. The combination of our Clearingworks cloud-based delivery model and the ability to process any payment type provided by PayItFast will significantly reduce the upfront and ongoing costs while accelerating funds availability.

PayItAnywhere is a new App that extends the Clearingworks Platform by accepting one-time or recurring payments from any billers website. This new App enables billers to keep up with the online payments landscape, which is complicated by changes in technology, security requirements, and customer demands. PayItAnywhere also enhances the overall customer experience through seamless integration with all other payment channels, while reducing the burden of PCI compliance.
Online payments posted a double-digit growth over the last 12 months, according to the 2010 Billing Household Survey.* This study also confirmed that billing and payment activities are the primary reasons consumers visit company websites of service businesses. What is more, the overall customer experience of bill payment influenced customer retention. According to an Aite Group study released in April 2011, nearly 26% of all consumers will pay their bills at billers websites by 2013. Billers must provide the best customer experience possible in processing their payments and remove unnecessary barriers to online bill payment, such as convenience fees, delays, and poor user experience.
PayItAnywhere is priced at a simple monthly subscription fee plus an initial setup charge. Find out more now by contacting sales@usdataworks.com.
