POSTERS: GO TO HMSG BOARD! SEE YOU ALL THERE!
We have a new board for all who would like to post on it.
I must say that this naked shorting infecting the stock market is a real problem. I don't think we have anything to worry about though. Investigations are underway. Besides, these warriors will not let anything destroy what they have worked so hard for. We will all be fine if we can wait this small delay out. Great things are going to happen for this company, hold on tight and thank me later. GLTYA!
Penny I agree with you, also I am long and strong, this is my retirement in style stock. Besides I can't go anywhere for 6 years. LOL
Besides I got a lot of folks into this stock can't leave them behind not the firefighter way...
DD
that was probably ME on RB.
to clarify--I did **NOT** call the company and have no info as to whether divdended sahres would be restricted.
I just asked the question on the boards. Don't know the answer--still would like to hear it.
To repeat--I have no official info from the company re: status of potential dividended shares.
Frankly, while this MIGHT deter "legal" shorts, I suspect a stock dividend whould have no impact whatsoever on naked shorts. Those scumbags would just ignore it--they have already indicated that they don't intend to play by the rules nad feel they are beyond resource of regulatory agencies.
Doubledownga) I share your frustration, but I truly think that these warriors are doing everything in their power to get things done. We will see the name change, GSA#, and new developments. You can bet that anyone selling now has lost all faith that these things are still going to happen. Wait and see, it should not be much longer. Don't give up on this TEAM. When the going gets tough, the tough get going. I won't let you give up on this winner. Keep the faith and stay strong.
that's cool... I just wish we would hear something. Homeland security is hot now it would be great to take advantage of the interest in it. We would be valued better then also. I'm Looooonnnnnng also.
DD
All -
This company is reported to be very shareholder friendly.
A dividend would be a good way to protect us from "naked shorts", right? In that case, it is a good thing. Keeps the shorts away.
Doubledownga) I am not going to guess about our dividend. I'm LONG, so will wait and see how it is going to be structured. I do remember a discussion about if they would be restricted or not, but until we get official word from the company, it is all speculation to me. I trust that the company will do the right thing for it's investors however they decide to structure it.
Penny... I thought someone on the RB board called the company a while back and were told they would not be restricted.
DD
nsomniyak) I can only guess that it would depend on the terms of the restricted shares. The structure of a dividend could possibly limit trading shares received with restricted shares, but I would call my broker and ask.
No--I do not own restricted shares.
I was asking whether, if there were a stock dividend, would the dividend shares received by the holders of restricted stock also be restricted, or would they be free trading?
nsomniyak) We are still waiting to get the specifics on the dividend. I have not heard anything about how it is going to be structured. Please ask your question again worded differantly. I want to make sure we are on the same page here. Restricted shares are just that, I would think that the terms of the restriction would dictate if you could sell those shares immediatly. Are you saying that you own restricted shares?
While I think AMNI has potential, it is very hard for me to get excited about a stock dividend, whcih changes nothing at all. At the end of the day, you still own the same % of the same set of assets and potential future revenues as you do before that SD.
I think that is an idea AMNI should quickly bury.
Stock dividends MIGHT make sense in a stock with extremely reqtricted liquidity, but not when there are already hundreds of millions of shares outstanding.
If there were a stock dividend, does anyone know if shares received as a dividend on restricted original shares would be immediately free-trading? If so, than a stock dividend is a very red flag, as it would benefit restricted shareholders only.
IanDay) This is better than a good entry point, the time is now for the next level. This company has many things on the horizon, plenty of irons in the fire! The name change could happen any time, the GSA# needed for sales, a dividend, new ballistics div., existing military contracts and much more. The company looks like a solid long term hold. Good luck to you!
good entry point today. I strengthened my position. Was posted as a confirmed buy at American Bulls last Friday. Good things to come given the leadership of the company.
They supply the logistical support for the security crews hired to guard the corporations left unguarded down there.
They sell to Army and Marines they have a propritary data base they sell in the gps units of Iraq cities Currently waiting for name change and ticker to place it in homeland security sector out of the old energy co shell. They have been in business for 7 months and have products and revs. RB board is more active.
DD
Seems like there was a lot of discussion this afternoon on CNBC about the long term investment opportunities lining up around Katrina and Rita due to the massive clean up and rebuilding. Is this little penny stock involved in those prospects as the PRs suggest? Any idea how much of a role they will play and how long this effort will be required of them?
Good luck to all those affected by the hurricanes and I hope no offense will be taken as people naturally will look at possible profitability coming from your horrible misfortune. No one is happy about other people suffering - even in the investment community.
My Best,
Shab

Homeland Security Technology, Inc. Awarded US Marine Corps Breacher's Kit Contract
09/06/2005 06:00
Homeland Security Technology, Inc. (a Division of Amnis, Inc. (Pink Sheets: AMNI)), announced today that HST, Inc., has been awarded a sole-source contract to provide US Marine Corps units with tactical entry tool kits. The Marine Corps Infantry Breacher's Kit (MCIBK) contains entry bars, bolt cutters, battering rams, ladders and other tools needed to affect forced entry or extrication. HST has been working closely with military equipment planners and suppliers to meet the requirements of fielding the most desired array of tactical entry tools available on the commercial market.
"Many manufacturers were approached during the design phase of the Breacher's Kit," commented Mark Wilson, HST Director of Security Systems. "The Marine Corps Systems Command was very specific as to the requirements for each item they felt should be included in the MCIBK. HST's task was to find the identical manufactured items and integrate those items into a Breacher's Kit while exhibiting to the government that our price would be lower than our competitors."
HST's bid was matched against prime vendors and proved to be lower in cost to other companies competing for the contract.
The first kits will be delivered to west coast units on September 30, 2005.
