No stink here doc. Institutional partners are able and willing to purchase his interest for the right price. He will wait for the time he considers appropriate. Health is the issue. I expect the share price will slowly go up. This ain't for dissemination. Thanks
Me too….happy with my profits but golly….
Incredible. Up another 9% today. Looks like the most recent high back in October was 67.74 or thereabouts. Could collapse from here....or could go to infinity.
Maybe it goes to $100? Kinda' crazy watching this one now. So few shares outstanding and mostly owned by the Williams family I think. Fun to watch, but not sure I could sleep at night holding it!
This one has just been mind blowing. Can't believe I sold my shares a while ago. Win some, lose some!
Still holding? LOL
I had a lot's of shares at $7, still don't understand the stock market... GL
This turned out very well. Thanks all
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on CWEI at TheTechTrader site noting: Clayton Williams Energy, Inc. (CWEI) is an old swing that continues to give. On Thursday it was up 3.07 to 29.59, or 11.58%, on 783,839 shares traded. After running up one and two in a wedge pattern, holding the trend lines and moving averages after the crossovers, then the surge to secondary resistance at my secondary target up near 30-31, then another pullback falling wedge, on Thursday it popped out of that little, mini 3-day consolidation, following the reversal. The reversal day is at 33.14, so I’m looking to see if it tests 33, and then ultimately 42-43. This is a great-looking chart.a http://tinyurl.com/h33bhoo
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on CWEI at TheTechTrader site noting: Clayton Williams Energy, Inc. (CWEI) has an awesome chart with a great trend, and good technicals. It broke out on Monday, and Tuesday was a good day trade as well, up 2.64 to 31.58, or 9%, on 569,000 shares traded. Once it gets through the resistance zone, I’m looking at 40 plus as the next target. It has 4 days to cover.
Harry has posted Charts of the Day video on CWEI at TheTechTrader site noting:Clayton Williams Energy, Inc. (CWEI) has an almost perfe ct-textbook, inverse head-and-shoulders with a platform, moving averages crossing over, and an explosive move just in the last five sessions, taking it from 15 to 28 1/2. That was a big move. On Tuesday it was up 4.81 to 27.60, or 21%, on 1.4 million shares, reaching a high of 22.66. It needs a little more momentum at 32-33, and then we look for a pullback. It has 3.77 days to cover.
Nice call
Watching closely for entry will rebound much like $BPT did today after a multi-day/2-wk beat down
I got out today as well and thinking the same thing. Oh my!!
Well, that was just brutal. I'm moving on. Of course, now it will pop.
Well...that was fast. Hoping the bounce back starts now here around $8. At least CWEI is not alone today. Everything in the sector is getting hammered today.
Step by step…..
I think we're getting close to a big break to the upside here. Might dip back down to $8 or so first tho. Still holding on to mine....
Yes with a smaller float sudden price movements can happen. Still in and have a nice weekend.
Still holding mine. Did you see that crazy action at the end of the day? Some big buys in the last few minutes.
This price is completely crazy. There are so few shares outstanding it is hard to compare it to anything else out there.
I am still in thankful not large but am hoping some producer wants some prime acreage that CWEI has and just buys the whole company at this cap. NOt sure how to compare CWEI to the likes of OAS and WLL other shales but it seems to me this price is crazy.
"Fold" . . . I'm out.
I just bought some more at $8.71. I agree that the sector is somewhat overbought now, but this has just been destroyed.
I am watching….but be careful. THe whole sector is overbought. Guess you can watch the other shales for comparison too. I do not want to give back the profits I have made in energies over the past weeks.
EDIT: back in at 9.06 couldn't resist with half of original shares.
I'm going to hold a bit and see what happens. The sellers should run out of steam soon.
Stopped out this morn at 9.78 looking like it wants to head below 9 with the sector pullback i am noticing in most stocks.
Nice. I actually grabbed a second batch at $9.88. I think that we're way oversold here. The float is so low that any move up will be dramatic.
I hope we can see at least the teens again. I am a little worried about their abilities to proceed given $40 oil or less.
Lucky you. Bought in at just under $11 and down $5500, geesh!!
I beat you I got 9.85 this morning. But I agree and look at the other shales still up trending ike WLL and OAS…..wow.
Good luck to us.
Bought some Claytie here around $10. Looks like a good dip to buy now. We'll see what happens.
I hear you. Same here. Probably be out tomorrow morning.
Just trading the shares.
Are you still here? I decided to pick up a few this morning.
Got me some CWEI now in the 11's on earnings debacle. Hope I still want them. Not a huge position just several hundred.
Well, I got in around 11.78pps and rode it up to around 20.pps and then when it fell back to around 13.5 I bailed. Made a little but now thinking it may just be a bit early to start getting into oil. Sitting back, waiting and watching. Semper Fi
Been watching this for about 6 months... doing DD and reading all I could. Bought in at 11.78 pps and now its almost to 20 pps. My only regret is that I didn't buy MORE! Semper Fi
Got it written down somewhere but I'm mobile so idk , I know it's a hell of a lot tho
Will Clayton Williams be a survivor? It is difficult finding news/financials for this company. How much total debt….cash…..maturing loans? Etc.
