Try Tether: I find it works very well!

Anyone know if there is a tool to hookup the BB to a laptop to use as your internet connection thus avoiding home monthly internet bills.
Is there an iHub application for Blackberry? Or does iHub have a mobile site that I don't know about?
I got one as soon as it came out No regrets love my droid.
Speaking of sexy...
I do like this one and had it in my hand, its new.. Android

While I'm a long-time Crackberry man, I'm going to make my prediction:
Three platforms will matter in the future.
1) Nokia in Europe
2) Iphone in the US
3) Google-Android in the US (which I'd guess will end up killing Blackberry down to Corporate Users, then buy RIM for the email push technology, add it to Android)
I've been eyeing some of those sexy Android phones....on the verge of cracking.....likely to happen when contract is up for renewal.
BlackBerry 9800 Slider Phone, sweeeeeet!!
My bud has a palm pre and I really like it and was hoping BB would make a similar phone and walla!! here it is...

The driod kicks blackberry butt imo
can i assume everyone here is also long RIMM? i am!
Happy Gobble Gobble day Matt!
FWIW Verizon doesn't work here :(
I feel naked w/o my blackberry
one good thing, cell phones/coverage is great here (for the local companies) so to get one for emergencies/texting is like dirt cheap (disposable like $20 and $10 for 1000 mins covg).
oh and did I mention that internet is "free" for all residents of the city??? Yes, FREE!!!
Forget it.....Seems okay now, put Opera mini on
Blackberry help??? 8330 Curve, why can't I get these message boards? I get an http 406 error...browser not compatable. But, it worked when I first got it....kinda' half assed, but, it worked. Tried IE emulation, and most of the others as well.....any ideas?
Also, any programs that I should know about? Faster browser? Media player that can play anything? Or at least an easy to use video converter. Got one freebie, but it always has errors, and then won't play on my BB.
T-Mobile Invites Go Out For BlackBerry Bold 9700 Launch

Hey kodi! I'm on it now!
I like the full key pad on the storm better. Just wish the talking part wasn't so difficult on the storm!
Have a good weekend
I think I'm going to get a tour also
So I just had to have the tour even though haven't had the storm that long. Bought one from Ebay as I don't want to sign over the rest of my life to Verizon again.
I don't think I'll ever be 100% happy with any phone.
I love the Storm's touch features for texting/email/internet but hated talking on it as my ear would always hit the mute button.
I like the Tour for talking but that's it. If I could get one phone with both features combined, I'd be tickled. Why did they design the Storm so that it was touch when you're talking on it?? That feature should only be avail for everything else.
oh is there a way to change the icons around so the top 6 are different?
BlackBerry Curve 8520
No track ball, some kind of censer pad, kinda like a laptop pad..

Did you ever get the 9630? Im looking at it now..
Blackberry Storm 2 due in September, has WiFi....
http://www.slashgear.com/blackberry-storm-2-due-in-september-has-wifi-0640236/
LMAO, the early reviews all look good, my last 2 phones have been Treo's, this one looks like a winner and think I'll be switching
I'll help 'em shake the bugs out. I'm camping out in a tent at my local Verizon store the night before.
Will be accepting fish tacos or KKDs from anybody that happens to be in the area and wants to drop off some love.
I'm do for a new phone, going to wait on the 9630 and let them shake bugs out. It does look good.
i just got the curve and i love the phone
Thanks Matt
do you know the exact date it's coming out?
I have 30 days so may do that if it's soon.
Matt, fair enough. When AT&T loses their "exclusive rights" to iPhone, try it again.
Very Impressive~
I'd try the iPhone, but I can't stand ATT. Tried them once or twice and was always unhappy with the service.
I'm a CDMA (vs GSM) fan, so I'll always be Verizon or Sprint-based. :)
I say dump all those "toys" and get a piece of Real Equipment...
The iPhone 3G
-currently over 25,000 Apps
What's New?
Accessories!!!
Johnson & Johnson just hooked up with iPhone.
(1)Wireless, Real Time, Online Blood Pressure monitor, and (2)Glucose Meter straight to your Doctor and History Building Charts.
I love mine~
Mateo recommendation? Dump the Storm and wait for the 9630. I think it's going to be a hit. I'm upgrading to it when it's released. :)
GO blackberry!!
nah........BRIG
lol we're going to be banned from the crackberry board
ugggh...."just say NO to crack!"
makes you psycho
MINE!....BRIG (the real deal here)
I agree!..... Tina
Oh?........BRIG
oops! forgot I was signed in under tmstocks
(that should really get someone sending out PMs again lol)
NONSENSE........BRIG
Trio shmio! BB rocks!
BB BASHER ALERT
Blackberry sucks.....TREO rules.
(seriously, imo)
Cool, I really like that phone! BB is my fav...
i absolutely love it for text messaging, email and internet
no speed issues whatsoever.
I'm sure there has to be a way to lock he touch screen while talking that I just haven't figured out yet lol
Hi Tina, how is the ease of use and internet speed with the storm? I like my BB 8700 but the internet could be faster. Its not 3G, thinking about upgrading to a 3G phone.. as far as talking on them, Im not much of a talker ;)~
Ok, been using the Storm for two weeks now.
I do most of my talking on my office phone so didn't think there were any problems. I normally just use my bb for internet, email, texting.
It's a major PITA trying to talk on it. It's very sensitive and if your ear touches the thing, it starts dialing, putting people on mute, going to speaker phone, etc.
I have 30 days to make up my mind

Oh yes, I downloaded both the black berry and verizon desk top software last night (a really sweet tech support guy from Verizon walked me thru the entire process).
Great customer service.
If you purchased it recently, you *may* have the latest version. Here's where you would check:
http://vzw.smithmicro.com/blackberry/
I think people hate it because they probably didn't take the time to learn how to use it properly.
The keyboard was awkward at first but when you turn it sideways, you have a full keyboard which is much easier to use. I love that everything is touch screen.
>>have you done the latest firmware upgrades? <<
No, what is this and how do I do it?
I think the Verizon Hub (for home) is VERY cool; however, most of my dialing from home/office is international, so Vonage is my best option for now....
Interesting that you like the Storm. Everybody I've talked to hates it - have you done the latest firmware upgrades?
