Remember that story that was told at the now infamous May 2011 shareholders meeting where Dale Smith was part of the group that announced the "Elvis records with The Platters" find?
Apparently that generated some discussion on an Elvis board saying that there was no possible way that could be true.

Another blow to value of the library?
Nag,
All your questions have been discussed before but given all the recent developments it probably needs some refreshing.
1. Pacal was a TV talking head at his affiliate station so IMO he would have no idea what Valcom would do with it's library. I suggest you look at the station's daily TV programming to see what is being shown.
2. Dale Smith's allplanet.net was a temporary site that provided a breakdown of Valcom's library. It's apparent that he did not renew the hosting fees and thus it was taken down. Perhaps someone on this message board has saved a hard copy somewhere and it's not been lost. It's probably still on the hosting site's server if the new management wants to pay for it.
3. The real estate auctions were run thru two different services without success, neither of which involved the Mannings. If you delve deeper into the results of the auctions, I'm sure you will find that very few of the "sold" homes closed escrow and that Valcoms share was very non-material. In fact I think they wound up in court (no big surprise) with one of the services.
When the Mannings got on board with VLCO, I was intrigued. I thought that the auction aspect would be great for additional VLCO revenues. imo
4. REAL ESTATE AND OTHER BROADCAST EVENT AUCTIONS UPDATE
ValCom's auction sold 41 of 46 homes and grossed over $335,000 in August 2010.

"ValCom has over 6,000 video and audio titles in its library. In 1st quarter 2011 an appraisal was conducted by DOS Broadcast and Appraisal Services to determine an accurate value of the content owned by the company. DOS has estimated that the value of the library exceeds $128 million. The library contains rare and unique video and audio content including 13 master recordings of Elvis Presley with The Platters; masters from Ike & Tina Turner before they were stars; and a very rare 3 Stooges film. The library also contains films starring the top names in Hollywood like Denzel Washington, Anthony Hopkins, Robert DiNiro, Jodi Foster, Russell Crowe and Mel Gibson.",

What has transpired from this with regards to your company and VLCO, ........Thanks in advance for your answer.
Thanks Missy, as you are well aware, besides drama at VALCOM, this board has its drama as well, you can call me suspicious, and all I wanted to do was verify my doubts. I asked and I will leave it at that unless some other board poster wants to continue the request from ADMIN. Thanks for your answer. GO VLCO
Not with my tools for MOD, but it is possible that if you email IH admin they might be able to look it up for you. (But they also might tell you No lol).
Glad to help :)
Missy
Thanks Missy, by the way, would it be possible to know which MOD did that. Thanks
Compound, do you know what has happened at the
http://www.allplanet.net/, website, if I am not mistaken, we used to see the appraisal info from the site.
Hmmm, Mr. Pacal, (Rev.) would it be possible for you tell us a little about the appraisal and why access has been closed. Thanks in advance
I believe we need audio appraisal information, TP has stated for a long time that VLCO's estimates were over-blown, and let's compare and see if there's something to that.
Taken from this.

DD on Appraisal, VLCO Library Value Press Release:
Note that the movie and television catalogue alone
(ongoing appraisal for music properties)
is worth 40 million dollars. Sound crazy ?
It's not.
With 6,000 titles, each would only be worth approx.
$6,600.00 (perpetual exclusive ownership rights)
How much of this can we get on the books ? we will see.
The $2,000,000 in owed royalties is also nice.

ValCom, Inc. Announces Initial Results of Content Library Appraisal
DOS Broadcast & Appraisal Service's Assessment of Library Exceeds Company's Expectations
CLEARWATER, FL--(Marketwire - March 28, 2011) - ValCom, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: VLCO), an independent entertainment company, is pleased to announce that it has completed the first phase of the audit and appraisal of its content library. In order to determine an accurate value of the more than 6,000 titles that have been acquired by the Company over the past 25 years, ValCom contracted with DOS Broadcast and Appraisal Services of Auburn, AL, a leading business consulting firm for the motion picture industry.
In the first phase of the appraisal, a value is placed on the television and film portion of the library; DOS has commenced on the two additional phases of the appraisal and estimates completion time to fall within the next month to include the audio content of the ValCom library. Based on the DOS audit of ValCom's TV and film content, a value of $40,182, 000 has been placed on this portion of the library alone. These results greatly exceeded ValCom's already high expectations of the value of this content, and will add even more value to the Company's bottom line.
In addition, DOS has identified over $2 Million in royalties due to ValCom from some of the titles in the content library. The Company has initiated the process to recover these funds and anticipates that payments will begin shortly, with full satisfaction of the debt by the end of the year.
"While we're not at all surprised that DOS found such value in our library, we are proud to announce that the results of this portion of the appraisal exceeded even our high expectations," stated Vince Vellardita, President and CEO of ValCom, Inc. "We know we have phenomenal titles in the ValCom library that are going to command top dollar as we license them in the domestic and international marketplace."

GLTA
If we use your car analogy, if a brand new car was sold off in parts, it would be worth 3 times the amount of a new car. Now with VLCO, if it was sold off in pieces, imo, there are many ways it could be but if we use the VALCOM website:
http://www.valcom.tv/index.html
There are 4 divisions:
1. Studio and Rental
2. Television and Film,
3. Broadcasting
4. Live Theater
The TV channel, 45% owned could be sold off
The mytvchannel network with video-library of movies and TV series
the audio library
The studio sets in Florida and in Nevada
I am trying to see which part would interest Stonehenge, do they want to do Video on Demand,??
If anyone would add, please the more ideas the merrier. GLTA
Go VLCO
Priestlyman,
Can you have a look at the VLCO IHUB board, do you notice anything, or is it just me that has noticed that there is no information up there. Thanks in advance.
Missy, I've got a novel idea
What is happening with the VLCO IHUB board message, take a look, where is anything about VLCO. Thanks in advance for an answer.
How about a real valuation of the library, sell the company at a discount, we wipe our hands clean with a buyout??
I think the ultimate plan here might be to part Valcom's assets out like and old car,. I would like to hear anyone elses thoughts on this. Where would that leave us??? I hope I am wrong.
IMO
D
Valcom shareholders that visit IHUB and all other posters, can you ask the MODS why there is no information about VLCO on the IHUB VALCOM board. and why.........
There are 5 MODS on this board..........please, 1 answer at a time and thanks for taking the time to answer something that was mentioned yesterday and was deleted for being off topic.....I know that VALCOM seems to be in chaos, we don't need that to affect our board. Thanks again.

If they bought VLCO, that means we get something......a PR, $$$$$, I think that we deserve quite a bit, imo, to have braved the storm, and having watched and witnessed first IHUB VLCO board real dramatic comedy provided by VLCO to all of its shareholders, lol (Luke, I am your father, I am your CEO, I'm not, I am, I am not, I am and the past one take that is being sued...)
I don't know what to add, I want some closure to all of this (of course for something extra, on the side), let's start with a fluffy PR and then "hit us with your best shot"PR to please the fans.
Have a good one all, health wealth happiness-HWH
Half the links work, half don't. At least the StoneHenge Mobile site appears to be a complete site. Hopefully ABEX spends some time with Valcom once they gained control. I can easily see them get distracted with other business now that the chase is over.
Click on each company link......
Something is not right here.
http://abexgroupinc.com/our_companies.php
IMO
D
It would be nice if the first thing ABEX does is update the Valcom website to include current information.
Thanks Nagoya, It's good to see that someone with what appears to be decent moral ethics will reside as President of the company... for now anyhow, lol...
Nicely done "Wingy" with your summation, I would agree about the moral fiber of a person involved in non-profit activities.
I am trying to see how VLCO plays in all of this, do we buy them, they buy us....has it been done already, what types of revenues or info do we have about ABEX and Stonehenge, I didn't find anything else besides their web-sites on google.
By when does VLCO have to PR that info, is the company in legalities and is silent. WE also need legal documents from VLCO and where they stand via lawsuits....
The PPS is hanging in there, hmmm sounds really good to me about that part so far.imo
GLTA
Here is a focal point out of your links... very interesting...
President & Chief Executive Officer – Patrick C. Willemsen
With more than 18 years of entrepreneurial experience, Mr. Willemsen began his professional career with a Dutch foundation that was responsible for the implementation of the first Internet-over-cable and TV-shopping mall solution for a Dutch CATV operator. In 1997, Mr. Willemsen became one of the founders and Co-CEO of Stonehenge Telecom NV in the Netherlands. The company managed to obtain a dominant role in offering converged services – data and voice – to large international telecom companies until 2001. Mr. Willemsen then started a business consultancy firm in Florida and later became co-founder and CEO of ABEX GROUP, INC. Group. In 2010, Stonehenge Telecom was revived and he became CEO. He is also Honorary Consul of the Netherlands, covering more than 22 counties for Central Florida. Mr. Willemsen was elected in 2011 to the Board of Directors of Missions Made Possible, a non-profit charitable organization focused on ambulatory air-travel for the sick and underprivileged. He studied economics and management in Amsterdam at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam
http://stonehenge-telecom.com/leadership
The fact he is involved with a non-profit organization to care for sick and underpriveleged says alot about the man imo. A self centered power seeking type typically doesn't care two cents about people in need or sick/wounded, just my opinion.
TP, very astute, you posted "that might explain the storage component in their recent PR...ABEX owns VIP Storage.", right under that there was the VALCOM property shown, hmmmm. Thanks for the "lead", and you get the credit, all I did was follow up on your homework.
What is going on here.........If the earth has 5 layers seemingly like VLCO, I am waiting to go to the thermosphere: it's a layer with auroras. It is also where the space shuttle orbits.
Why did you stop there, hmmm. Could I ask you, are you someone connected to all of this directly/directly...,Hey, I could also be imagining all of this, but so far VALCOM has many layers.
we have Smitty, the Rev.,
Anyone else on this board somehow connected to any of the players??
What is going on here.........If the earth has 5 layers seemingly like VLCO, I am waiting to go to the thermosphere: it's a layer with auroras. It is also where the space shuttle orbits just don't forget to bring the PPS with us. LOL
The problem is to find financials on these private companies, and that's not "a box of chocolates".
TP, this wan't meant as an attack at all on you, I hope you did not perceive it that way. I'm pleased to have you here helping us decipher what the f... is going on. I am trying to figure this out from the outside looking in. lol
Here's something from the ABEX site:
"operates a group of companies...take a look at each individual company." The language used shows proprietorship not association. If I put info from another company like this on my website, I could get sued for this like this case by that company.NO?
http://abexgroupinc.com/our_companies.php
What you see is ABEX just linking the Valcom site.
The next step is for ABEX to actually update the Valcom site with correct information...i.e. removing all references to VV as the CEO....the quicker they do that , the more you can begin to find comfort that they care about the shareholders of the company....and yes, their own site could use some updating as well.
Be careful I am showing that website might be a virus
nagoya1
Nice find!
Take Care
David
Does anyone have an opinion on ABEX, the PRs on the site are from 2010?
Can someone care to explain what I have just seen, thanks compound, I visited this site with the link that you provided and went to this page.....Look at the very bottom of that web page, do I see our sailing ship...AHOY, it looks like we are about to travel...imo
Go VLCO wherever the wind takes us....
http://abexgroupinc.com/our_companies.php
That might explain the storage component in their recent PR...ABEX owns VIP Storage.
Hey Smitty, in a prior post to someone else, I included a section for you and I was wondering with regards to your situation if there was any type of communication between you and VLCO and if money owed was coming, who from the company if there was contact....or is it still limbo. Thanks, have a good one.
Yes, suffering is a good word to describe the current situation. I just hope that the new management will push this company in the right direction.
Actually, have you already received some information regarding your outstanding payment? I think, it is quite important to see that the management is also working on those issues with high priority.
At the moment the new BOD has to spend many efforts to regain the trust of the shareholders. Such small steps might help.
Thank you and best regards
Looks like I owe apologies to both Tigerpac & Smiteman.
Sorry for being so immature and a jerk.
Hey don't forget about me! The O.G. Whistleblower!I hope this all works out the best for the long suffering VLCO shareholders.Have a great early weekend all!
As I predicted last May, the emporer had no clothes. It took awhile for many to believe it. It looks like it won't take as long for investors to forget about VV.
Is this finally over now????????
If not I see going back to where we were 2 years ago .008 - .012.
GRRRR
WHERE IS THE 10K!!!
IMO
D
What should we expect for tomorrow's VLCO drama????
but may'be imo
chairs are going to be spun my fellow shareholders,
staples are going to be stapled, I kid you not.
conversations will be had, really!lol
messages will be written, decisions will be made...
(no one will be forgotten in the vault after closing hours)
the big problem with what that: we don't know exactly........exactly what, but, VLCO is entertaining for what it's worth, "I am living the dream", lol and I wouldn't trade it right now, literally and figuratively. IMHO with a smile
oyasuminasai
Now we can put everything behind us and move vlco forward!
It's good to see the old guard, I still believe in the company, it's confusing but entertaining, if only our PPS was higher, like in the teens. Until then, we wait, we "occupy New Jersey", we stop traffic to the vault, we learn some dance steps to the shuffle, lol
Damn if you do, damn if you don't....not selling, just getting started for the long haul, bring on d'em fluff PRs, one of them has to hit the mark one of these days.imo
GLTA, see ya around.
Anyone call Jerry Springer on this one yet?
Forget ADX Energy, this ridiculous company sucks completely, only promises but no deliver and not half the entertaining fun we have with Valcom.
Cheers from
Neo aka tnzs
You need to put out a PR announcing yourself as CEO and also as abolishing and dismissing the current BOD.
Volume trading sideways, but at least it's volume, I guess.
By the way, if you search for alternative invest opportunities: ADX Energy, they found oil and gas in Tunisia. The well testing is going on. First results very soon.
As I said already in this forum a couple of weeks ago this company needs to settle itself. Nobody can predict the outcome of the litigation and it may take again 6 month for a court verdict. This is not the right environment for a invest decision. That's why I personally think the stock will fall. We will see a selloff very soon. Believe me guys because I feel it in my stomach.
Again, excuse my bad English, I am not a native speaker.
GLTA, go (hopefully) VLCO
Great thought Funky considering the network, films, and music library - whatever they're worth it appears the NJ gang intends to monetize. Let's hope the NJ gang and VV come to their senses and not waste shareholder value by ongoing legal battles.
"The company has set a new course and it is important that ValCom's management and Board of Directors be unified in their commitment towards the company's mission to improve shareholder value by improving ValCom's business practices and monetizing its assets."
(I confess, I kinda' miss the 'fluffy' PRs. Perhaps we'll see Elvis and the Platters on eBay soon.)
Guys, no doubt this stock is in flux with the infighting but unless you need the money now, think about the possibility that all this posturing could be the leverage and impetus for a major buyout on the horizon. Who wants it more and at what price. Just a thought.
I like your humor nagoya, I bought about the same time you did... I'm in this for the long haul... I still believe there is lots of money to be made here, just need the right leadership.
Someone referred to re-watching the Lost series....... so I have to wonder:
Are we at the point in the show, where Ben (aka Vince) has been dethroned and must now "move the island", never to return again?
It was hard enough keeping up with that show the first time around........
Anyway, they did file an 8K in regards to the PR issued today: http://biz.yahoo.com/e/120426/vlco.pk8-k.html
