Google BB news, long drawn out story about, not said overtly, but BB is to blame. Every writer, self appointed journalist or just an all around sack of shit trying to get clicks. Honor and integrity simply do not exist in America anymore and fucking sick of it.
Dude. I wish I knew WTF you are talking about
GLTA
Day of reckoning Boyz
Quarter point is good BUT 1/2 point cut today turbo charges the market
Then next Thursday a good Qtrly and we’re back in the 3’s - minimum!
GLTA

Happy 10th anniversary!!!
From a fella who has been here since 2014 I have to agree with you
GLTU mate
HA! Yea I suppose WW3 would have to happening for that. I was mostly kidding but I still this will be rewarding bigly.
LOL!
Can I suggest you wait until winter after one of your heavy snows?
At $45 OMG!
Ok going to do a bit of math here
45 x 21,000 shares
Holy Moly Batman
Let’s gooooooooo!
GLTU
Holding for $45, adding. Otherwise Minneapolis has a lot of great bridges to jump off.
Woo hoo! Hoping it closes there today. 18 more minutes to go as of this post.
We touched $2.50
Hold baby, hold!
GLTA
LOL....I see. I like how things are shaping up here. I was looking at the 52 week high price and it was over $5. Hard to believe a year ago we were in the 5's. And of course years before that we had the Reddit kids surge. All the pieces are coming together though. I look forward to seeing the quarterly report as well as what Mr. Giamatteo reveals October 16th.
LOL!
That’s why I wrote it!
This is setting up perfectly!
GLTA
That was my question a few weeks ago. Fingers crossed.
I say I agree with you as usual Nelson, I’m mean it has to be positive. That would be be weird to plan for a big bankruptcy announcement. I’m keepin the faith.
FYI
NYSE:BB)(TSX:BB) today announced it will host its Investor Day on Wednesday October 16, 2024 at 9:30am ET.
The event, hosted at the New York Stock Exchange, will be available live to the general public via webcast. A link to register can be found here or via the BlackBerry.com/Investors website. A replay of the webcast will be available following the event.
This event will provide a platform for investors and analysts to hear from, and interact with, BlackBerry executives and gain a deeper understanding of the Company's vision, future plans, and progression towards profitability and positive cashflow across our IoT and Cybersecurity divisions.
Now let me ask. Do you think they would make this kind of statement if they think it wouldn’t be positive by then?
What say you?
GLTA
Can we touch and stay at $2.50 today?
GLTA
That sounds like a plan to me.
Good for you mate.
So Sideem listen up
Fed cuts rates Sept 18th and market jumps
Sept 26th BB comes out with positive quarterly
What say you!?
gltu
Got my 1,000 today at $2.23.
LOL I thought about the way I phrased that after I posted it. But yes it's a good song.
LLOL!
Hope you’re not singing that in the shower. But damn good song
GLTU
If stocking up on BB is wrong, I don't want to be right.
Done! 1,000 shares $2.27!
Can’t be wrong, can we?
:)
Lol I'll add more to the IRA as well though it'll have to wait till Friday.
Think your posts are going to cost me another 1,000 shares!
GLTU
Good stuff Sideem. Thank you
How can’t our day come?

https://www.haleytek.com/
Haleytek is based out of Sweden and is fully owned by Volvo. Reading about the collaboration with BB makes BB even more promising. Someday is getting closer, I hope.
And more news after hours: https://www.allpennystocks.com/specialreportsus/3647/new-platform-launch-creates-buzz-around-well-known-stock?utm_source=advfn
"A well-known Canadian tech company made a surprise announcement today, causing shares to rise. Early this morning, the company announced the launch of HaleyTek’s Generic Automotive Platform (GAP), which provides access to a seamless, agile Android Automotive development environment, according to the release." Any guesses who?
Wow!
The number of persons buying and the amounts are significant
One day………….

Directors continuing to acquire BB. https://ih.advfn.com/stock-market/NYSE/blackberry-BB/stock-news/94485709/form-4-statement-of-changes-in-beneficial-owners
From Insider Monkey article picking 10 best penny stocks from Canada:
Overall, BlackBerry Limited (NYSE:BB) solid Q1 performance, coupled with ongoing cost reductions and strategic focus on high-growth sectors like IoT and cybersecurity, supports a bullish outlook for the stock. The company’s efforts to streamline operations and its path toward profitability make it an attractive investment opportunity moving forward. During Q2, 2024 the count of hedge funds holding positions in BlackBerry Limited (NYSE:BB) grew to 16 from 15 in the prior quarter. These holdings collectively amounted to around $136.85 million. Prem Watsa’s Fairfax Financial Holdings emerged as the leading shareholder among these hedge funds during this timeframe.
GLTA
Agreed...saw the high of $2.49 earlier and was wishful thinking.
Not sure how this can climb significantly without some kind of news. Might have to wait until quarterly in Sept.

From Giamatteo - CEO
“The QNX, that's our royalty backlog. Think of that as every time a car comes off the line, we get paid by an OEM for the operating system that they are licensing for us to power that vehicle. That backlog has grown from $560 million. It's now stands at $815 million of licensing royalty of that's going to roll through the P&L at 100% margins. Really strong position for the QNX business to be in at this point.
Thanks for the DD Nelson.
Bankruptcy? I think not.
This from our new CFO
“And then on our ad hoc products, we continue to find just tremendous opportunities. We've had a stronghold in U.S. government. 90% of the U.S. government uses ad hoc. It was actually heavily used during the CrowdStrike incident by our customers, because a lot of the systems to communicate were down, right. Whether it's an IT issue like that, or a cyberattack, if you can't get to your teams or your email and communicate, you need a quick and fast way to communicate.
So heavily uses in that. Heavily used in other recent public events as well. And we're finding a lot of opportunities to bring that into police and ambulance and some other adjacent sectors from where our strong points are.

Good skinny from new CEO
A - Tim Foote
Oh, 100%. I mean, if we look at the stock price right now and everyone take their own view on it, but certainly when I look at it, I see there's an awful lot of value to be had. The company is very underappreciated right now. We've got a very strong business on the QNX side, and arguably that is the market cap in itself, if not more.
And then the cyber business has been overlooked, and to an extent we can understand it. The metrics have not been performing as strongly, but we've seen some progress there. And just directionally, slash the burn. The cash burn year-on-year is a significant difference, and I don't think the markets yet appreciated the change that we've gone through.
So my job and the team's job is obviously to get that message out there and to continue to improve the underlying fundamentals of the business.
Totally agree with your sentiments eastunder.
Thank you looking 4 a win. It's funny how even I knowing that BB has been in the cybersecurity realm for while still had the association with Blackberry phones when I saw the young guy's phone. The name recognition BB had with their phones was bar none. I hope one day that same name recognition can happen within cybersecurity. Maybe they need to make QNX a buzzword and that'll associate itself to BB.
Oh! I remember those!
It's so strange to see they are now a cybersecurity company.
You hear 'Blackberry' and you automatically think phone or tablet, which they no longer produce.
I don't think they branded that very well and they need to work on that, but their website is pretty cool.

Great share Sideem, I can definitely relate! A big problem I hope stops soon is tipping for doing absolutely nothing. These kids bitch about not making a livable wage (living with their parents) at $20/hour and want a tip for handing me a bag? FU.
BB is definitely not dead, we just need some recognition and get the old phone idea out of peoples heads.
I was reminded again yesterday that I'm old. Had an issue with my garage not wanting to close completely and when opening, it not going all the way up. Plus the door itself needed some maintenance.
So I called a service to get it fixed. They sent two young whippersnappers (yup I'm old.... lol) to do the repairs. Nice guys all around.
So when it came time to pay the bill, they of course had the device that you can insert your card in. Then I had to use their cellphone to sign my name.
And now I get somewhat on topic. When I looked at the phone, it reminded me of a smaller Blackberry. I asked if it was (I knew it wasn't... lol). The kid had no clue what I was talking about. He was probably 5 or 6 years old during Blackberrys heyday. It wound up being an iPhone.
Anyway aside from the reminder that I'm old, it did make me think of Blackberry. I'm keeping the faith that things will turn around here.
Now back to my corner.
