That's hilarious, the more you post negatives the higher it goes. Keep it up
After 10 years or so of all this nonsense I hope you are right.
It really gets tiresome to see all the BS that parades as facts over such a length of time, as well as the weekly trading manipulation in amounts of cash that would not even do a piggy bank justice.
Hope your faith is not misplaced.
1. Possible early end of year selling for tax writeoffs
2. We have some morons loose this morning
Try sec.gov/answer/pink.htm or perhaps sec.gov/answer/noinfo.htm for any real information prior to shoving just another opinion on the public. Most 'Pinks' tend to fall under the 'exempt' category because of their particular size or circumstance.
It actually goes back to 15C2-111 under the 1934 Security Exchange Act.
Quote, midway through the section of reporting requirements, " After that, the company is required to continue reporting unless the number of its record shareholders fall below the following " thresholds ," in which case the company's filings may be suspended:
300 shareholders of the class of securities offered; or
500 shareholders of the class of securities offered and less than $ 10 million in total assets for each of its last three fiscal years.
I think you might even agree that Sarissa's assets for the last three years have been less than $10 million.
Give me 1 good reason why insiders are not reporting their holdings
Could it just perhaps be that since Sarissa (SRSR ) is a pink sheet stock, they do not have all the reporting requirements of a big board company....but hey, you already knew that.
So 60 minutes is now the tooth fairy ? LOL
Technically .....niobium.... is not considered a rare earth element....and 60 Minutes is hardly an authority on anything in the U.S. anymore.
On the other hand, a tooth fairy could be useful....I am looking for the one dollar bill under my pillow tomorrow morning. I hope you're right and SRSR accelerates toward the double digit pennies range right after 60 Minutes concludes its learned dissertation on rare earth elements.......and if not.....well then......I guess we will just have to wait a few more days for Scott and Dan to reveal their master plan before we plan on having a serious fiesta. Gute Nacht Mein Freund.
That's all fine and good....except two financially strapped " Pinksheet Companies" do not make a viable single entity. MDN has been bouncing around like so many other 'Junior Miners' for years without actually accomplishing the goal of remunerative production of product. If I remember correctly, years ago MDN was operating under the name of Northern Minining and did not achieve anything further even with their name change, a process favored it seems by many 'Pinks'.....it's the usual wash, rinse, and repeat routine.
Since you are pushing this one so hard, one can only assume that you do hold shares in MDN and are hoping that if you can convince the Tooth Fairy of your suggested alignment that both shares in MDN and SRSR might go up. Sarissa incidentally tried a JV with another non-mentionable Pink Sheet entity previously, and as it turned out, wound up being a total waste and effort of everyone's time and effort.
Stock for stock mergers can work just fine if in fact there is substantial and material value in such an exchange. Changing nothing for nothing for all practical purposes still results in a mathematical...nothing......and yes, I've held shares in SRSR since early of 2008 and like many others, became disgusted with Pink Sheet Companies years ago.
Merle would have had to move to another Province ( Ontario )or Scott would have needed to fire Merle there and then and hire another IR person located in Ontario......
You're entitled to your opinion...my opinion however is that this CTO isn't worth the paper it was printed on, like so many other Regulatory Orders and Procedures I have seen from various Provincial Regulatory Agencies over the last ten years.
Then again I have been a lot closer to and tracked hundreds of their ( specifically, the OSC )freaking orders than most people.
The CTO was issued by the Province of British Columbia because Sarissa had not filed any information in this Canadian Province, and unfortunately at that time, since Merle ( representing IR for Sarissa was physically located in British Columbia )
Unlike the U.S. the Canadians have individual Province Regulators.
It should also be noted that the ( OSC ) Ontario Securities Commission never bothered issuing a CTO.
Since Merle has been replaced ( about a year ago now ) the British Columbia CTO is due for removal at any rate on this minor technicality. Generally speaking the Province Regulatory Agencies have been a toothless tea and crumpet party issuing their bureaucratic garbage for years......but then....I assume you already knew that.
It could also possibly be that you have a small handful of daytraders suffering from the usual societal ADS ( Attention Deficit Syndrome ) who are unwilling to wait more than a very brief period, since their meager funds might be tied up and thereby forego their need for instant gratification. The mining sector is not exactly conducive to the instant gratification routine. I do agree with you .....it does get old after a while.
Since this AURC board has lacked any real excitement for a few years now, check out RVBR ( Markray Corp ) located at :
18 Kosakova St.
Moscow Region 140730
Russian Federation
They even have a website.....
The President is Olga Smolnikova and the chief gold mining officer is Alexander Kovalenko.
Apparently they released a PR yesterday, which includes a vague reference to the old Aurus Corp, but certainly much more humorous is the fact, that their mission will be to process tailings from a chemical dump approximately 100 miles from Moscow.
Now ......that's funny ! Oh yes....trading activity appears to be minimal......
I had received a cryptic e-mail from a Ruper Hauer (ruphauer@gmail.com )looking for AURC shareholders...I didn't bother answering.....but.....checking into Ruper Hauer revealed nothing, although there is a 'Rupert Hauer in Austria' ....don't bother going down that rabbit trail....it's meaningless, as it pertains to this present subject. However checking into 'ruphauer@gmail.com ' revealed that perhaps he might be a mouthpiece for RVBR touting glorious futures for cleaning up this chemical dump and getting rich on the recovered gold. Even some of the published numbers look vaguely familiar to my dim memory of eons ago.
Have fun !.....I wouldn't run out there though and get too excited about answering Ruper or gobbling up any shares of RVBR.
Thanks to both of you...Was able to contact them. They were as I suspected, helping some less fortunate folks.
Let's all have a great week in the Markets next week.
In the journey of my life, I lived there for over four years of it, and have some fond memories as a result.
:)
How sweet it is, we've been patient for this for a long time.Have another one up 11.27% today as we speak, and the rest aren't doing badly either.
:)
Thanks for your PM response, I really appreciate it.
Our friends live within a short distance off Havana and Iliff.I suppose they're helping a bunch of other folks in the state which they are prone to do, and are quite busy...either that, or they're just trying to ignore me.
;)
Howdy 'eastunder' !
Glad to see you're still as feisty as ever. I don't care what Cramer thinks either, but my gut says some folks in this sector are going to come back quite nicely, including DRYS. Has all that weather affected you at all up there? Have some friends in Aurora who I haven't been able to contact this past week.
November 12th,2013 hearing is scheduled by the OSC at 10:00 AM in Toronto to determine costs and sanctions.....maybe in another five or six years the OSC will conclude this matter.
From Monday 2/11/13 through Friday 3/1/13 a total of 9,622,894 shares were traded....
Strangely enough on 3/4/13 Monday and yesterday 3/5/13 a total of
8,929,018 combined shares traded
It really appears that the folks that bought simply in anticipation of news, sold after what they felt was a letdown in the PR.
Personally I considered the PR somewhat on the positive side of the ledger, especially if we don't have to fork over a 51% ownership
Trading in SRSR has been quite predictable for a few years now,
ignoring the subject of ' shorts ' entirely, and paying more attention to the psychological aspects of the pervasive ' penny ' traders that roam the halls looking for a quick buck.
Like you, I hope there really is a short position...Guess I'm blind since I just don't see it in the trading activity.
Someone needed a bit of cash for a fine Friday Night dining experience at MacDonald's. Sure glad when we get past this nonsense.
Have a great weekend, I have a feeling the years of waiting is about to pay off here very shortly.
pretty pathetic - all 300 shares of it !
Probably not for last week. Knight Capital however, has been a major player in the OTCBB arena also.
According to the news just a few minutes ago, it is estimated that their loss in this latest fiasco with their algorithm is about $ 440 million, with their stock down about 40 % in pre-market this morning. They're looking for additional capital to shore up their company.
After watching this market maker manipulate many companies into oblivion over the last ten years.....in my opinion......it couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of folks ( excuse the sarcasm resulting from years of frustration )
Hopefully they will get out of the OTCBB and take their algorithm trading to Timbuktu.
That's actually twenty million one hundred forty eight thousand twenty five...... wouldn't get too excited about the situation yet.
......and this is why folks are selling ? .....geez....I'd hate to see what happens around here with bad news !
.....then again ....it could be a case of reading comprehension

Hi 'VF',
I'll leave you my e-mail during ' IHub's happy hour ' today, in case you ever wanted to communicate with me.
Every Friday Ihub allows a brief period where you can send private messages when you are a ' Free ' member.
I gave up my premium subscription eons ago since I really did not post that much anymore.
BCSI had been good to me over about a nine year period, hate to see them wind up like this at this time.
Correct. It's been in the mill for a while.
BCSI will now be a Private company as of yesterday, after buying out shareholders at $ 25.81 per share.
Good luck to all in future endeavors....signing off !
Anytime,
also picked up some ECA @ $17.50 last week....figured they had beaten that puppy just about enough and besides that, it also pays a small divvy. Looking at its trading action today , I may have picked the right time for a change. Usually I buy some shares in a position and it goes down for a month.
:)
You are welcome.
I believe ACAS was simply hit with that drop as were so many other companies in the Financial Sector Area, with the economic conditions, the Eurozone debt problems, and general negative perception, it has been somewhat of a roller coaster in that sector. I do believe we're past the worst. Considering the buyback of shares on their part and my continued confidence in their management team, I would expect the divvy to be reinstated.
Have been in and out, mostly in, with ACAS for about ten years.
My first buy years ago was at about $ 21 per share. My best buy was at $ 0.77 in their darkest hour.
Had DNDN years ago also, but unfortunately during my pursuit of Biotechs and Pharma back then, I managed to get kicked in the shins a few times.
My only Biotech that I am still holding now is ELN, but again it's because of the same familiarity with it that I have had with ACAS over the many years. I bought ELN in the $ 3 to $ 9 range and sold out in the high $20's but reentered when it was beaten back down. At the present share price, I do believe it's a good deal still, but it's just a somewhat steady but also somewhat slow movement up in the share price.
Am simply holding both at this time and really not worrying about either one since I am planning on holding them for the next few years.
Still have a few " Pennies ", strictly in the junior mining arena
........although my patience has been sorely tested on numerous occasions.....and I am a most patient sort of cuss.
Happy New Year " VF " !
It has to be better than last year.
Have a number of positions holding up well on the Big Boards, but I just about gave up on the OTCBB and Pinks.
I do believe the players in the latter have just about ruined those markets.
Keep your eye on ACAS ( parent of AGNC, which is still paying out about 19% to 20% DIVVy ). ACAS was buying back their own shares and I don't blame them at the present PPS.
FTK is still motoring along nicely as was ELN ( slower but steady )
:)
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year ' Vf '
Thanks for keeping me company on this board !
Surprise.... but nice, although the trading euphoria could be temporary......
one of those times where it's time to take some more profits before the world lapses back into its stupor.
:)
Happy Thanksgiving Folks !
Have a safe one !
I don't believe we'll get out of this silly movement in the Markets until our European friends get their act together with their debt problems and we get our act together by voting every incumbent politician out of office in the next election.
Have a great Thanksgiving holiday and a safe trip.
Think you made a smart move taking advantage in the uptick in afterhours trading yesterday.
Still looks decent this morning in pre-market, but considering the lumbering herd's irrational behavior of late ( the inmates really are running the asylum ) there is no point in taking chances that they will beat it up again......and they will.
See you after Thanksgiving and have a great time.
If you can PM me during ' happy hour ' with your e-mail address, I'll forward the e-mail I had sent her back in July. I suspect that might clarify it for you, although simply put, I had corresponded with her on multiple occasions over the last few years and generally received a courteous response sooner or later.
I have no idea what they may be planning down-range or if they will just throw up their hands and mind their own knitting ( as the Scots would say) from here on.
She apparently translated the Russian paragraph with Babelfish, so as usual, the outcome was somewhat convoluted although both contain the same information. I believe what she meant very simply was that since Mr. Lvov just very recently died that a new President had not been selected / appointed.
Decent Revenues, Decent Earnings, and Decent Guidance for the next Quarter ending in January.
After-Market Traders like it .....Share price is getting close to being up $ 3.10 per share in less than 15 minutes after the announcement. Add that to the $ 1.14 up for the normal trading hours today and that gets us past $ 4.00 per share up for the day.
About Time !
Actually up a few cents in a down market today before the earnings after the market's close.....volume is pretty anemic though, doesn't seem to be much conviction on anyone's part anymore as long as the European soap opera continues and our idiot children in DC can't get their act together.
:)
Yes, from Elena yesterday, replying to my e-mail I had sent to her in July.
It consisted of the same as was in the other poster's, a paragraph in Russian followed by the info in English that Lvov Andrey had passed away after a lengthy illness.
A couple of thoughts ' KPC ',
Normally don't post much, usually have better things to do, but...
From observing Scott's ' method of madness ' over the last few years, I do believe we're well in the mechanics of the ' Shining Tree ' Spinout.
The additional drilling should hopefully produce some additional positive facts ( like proving up the possibility of additional resources )
The mechanics of the spinout itself as well as the process of where the shares will be listed & traded ( hopefully somewhere better than the ' Pinks ' ) is most likely being sheperded along as we speak.
This stuff takes a wee bit of time and is usually beyond the attention span of many of the players in the " Pinks '.
My guess is we may be weeks away ( a miniscule amount of time in the whole scheme of things ) before Scott will release the info in a nice well thought out bundle of events or PRs.
Many of us who have been sitting and accumulating a nice core position, also happen to have a bit more patience than the folks that are in and out of a particular equity in less than 24 hours, and are happy with getting enough coins of the realm to buy lunch at Wendy's.
The main point is that I do believe that Scott wants ' ALL " his ducks in a row before he marches them across the Interstate.
I like the fall, the colors of the landscape are gorgeous.
Can't say much for the Markets though, which have left my disposition down in the dumps most days.
This daily rollercoaster ride is like the birds trying to catch an upward draft so they don't have to flap their wings without much success.
I don't know about you but I have to admit, I don't remember a time that I have been more disgusted with the politicians, media, and general daily nonsensical gyrations.
Hope this stuff settles down a bit !
