Me and my over 4 million shares have been waiting 14 years - what's a little longer?
It sure sounds good to me! Maybe I'll just sell two million if it runs to $.02 to get my basis back and hold the other two million to see what develops!
I hope so. Strickland was involved in this before, I think, from what I remember so many years ago, and it never got off the ground. However, times have changed, many new technologies have evolved, and perhaps this time they can use this as a vehicle to put something together that will have substantial value.
With a basis of $.01 for my 4 million plus shares, I'll be out long before it hits $.10 if it ever does!
That would be great! I'm a bag holder of over 4 million shares at $.01 for almost 15 years, and am shocked and very pleasantly surprised to hear that this may actually have some value in its resurrected form.
That's another 110 shares for me this morning. I now have over $100K invested here as my second-largest position.
I agree. They're assembling a tremendous portfolio of technology and products that will result in one of the best performing stocks in the market over the next few years.
That's another 78 shares for me this morning in what I expect to be a continuing accumulation.
This management team knows what it's doing - I'm buying more tomorrow morning.
Just completed my first buy of 108 shares at $8.78, with many more to come over time.
That will definitely help, although in spite of that their quarter over quarter comparisons have picked up nicely recently.
And in that regard, I'll be starting the long process of gradually building a position tomorrow morning. I actually hope it doesn't grow too fast so I'll have time to do so. I figure I have at least until the 10-Q to be filed in November.
This is going to be so big within five years it will make people's heads spin.
Cathie Wood is reviled by many. I like her because she thinks differently than most, not just about stocks but about the way the universe works, and I consider thinking differently to be one of my calling cards. The only thing that really matters is whether she (and I, I suppose), understand and see the future. Stock price, revenue, and earnings are only byproducts of the development and execution of concepts. I think Yoav is a visionary in his industry, and I think she and I both sense that. If we're right, we'll be handsomely rewarded. As for me, it's another 410 shares added about 20 minutes ago.
Thank you - it may be time to add more tomorrow morning.
I plan to pick up more myself tomorrow morning. This will become a behemoth within ten years, as they cover so many industries.
She sees what I see - the eventual technological takeover by this company of the industry niches that they serve.
I'm afraid I don't know a covered call from a phone call, as I never have gotten into options. I just buy stocks and hope they go up eventually. I'm willing to wait three to five years for a company's stock with strong prospects to do that, and I only sell it if I change my opinion on the company's management or prospects, as I did recently on WKHS, fortunately with a small profit after the meme crowd ran it up unreasonably, when it became obvious to me on their quarterly call that their CEO was totally incapable of building vehicles efficiently at volume. He has since been replaced.
Nice work on the options strategies! I'm in for 10,042 shares at $8.21 in my pension IRA rollover account and 2,130 shares at $6.80 in a regular brokerage account. It's my second largest holding. If I were to fall in love with a company, which is the cardinal sin in investing, it would be with this one.
Hopefully they'll start pumping it soon for a run.
I agree with you. I almost doubled my position early this week and am liking the price movement since then.
It was time early this week for me. This stock is beginning to perform as I thought it would.
I'll be holding for many years. I feel as though this company will develop the preeminent technology in the industry in the markets that they serve.
Almost a nine percent gain today on higher-than-average volume. Hopefully something is up here! I'm glad I bought more early this week. I feel good about this company's long-term future.
As Yoav said in their recent call, don't try to time buying into this company. He recommended making a decision and then acting on it, because the inflection points will happen in a binary fashion and they will unlock the value that is building here very rapidly.
I like the recent price movement. I've recently almost doubled my position here. I can't help but think that they will sell a lot of their fuel in the long run. Environmental forces are with this company.
They've just begun to do what I knew they would when I bought in. The share price is up over $2.00 in after-hours trading. This is only the beginning of a very nice long run. It's not too late to get on board.
I would think so - they'd have been worth $2.4 million if that were to happen!
Wow - if they can run it to $.05, my 4 million shares will be looking pretty good! Go Spooz!
Snow! Remember me? We were in quite a few pink sheet stocks together almost 20 years ago. I couldn't believe it when I saw that this actually has some value in my dormant brokerage account! Do you think management has the skill to be able to pump this up the way they did almost 20 years ago so that I can get my basis out? I find it hard to believe that they could actually transform this into a viable company, but I suppose anything can happen!
Very nice! Hopefully that will do something to raise the share price!
It was a press release with a discussion of the company's business plan in written form rather than a conference call.
I e-mailed Brad about addressing such issues Monday night after reading the 10-Q, and he said he was forwarding it on to management, but I guess they didn't take my advice.
It's possible that it was due to manufacturing inefficiencies related to producing new products, which would make the margin deterioration somewhat less alarming, but if that were to have been the case, they should have said so in the MD&A. Six-month margins for Etelix were 1.92%, for SwissLink 11.2%, for QGlobal 16.4%, and for IoT Labs 0.25%, but the development costs for IoT Labs were said to be in operating expense, so the gross margin percentage for the more than two-thirds of the consolidated revenue that IoT Labs represents is incredibly low. Hopefully that is due to temporary manufacturing inefficiencies, as the key to getting to profitability lies in increasing IoT Labs' gross margin percentage.
$2.00 in late 2022 is a possibility if they can generate enough higher-margin revenue from their emerging ventures to achieve profitability. Just counting backwards for an example, to support a share price of $2.00 at, let's say, an EPS multiple of 40 pertaining to a high-growth company, they would have to generate annual EPS of $.05 per share. At the June 30 outstanding share count of 141,657,358, that would require $7,082,868 of net income. I agree that it's a stretch - it just depends on how fast they can ramp up the various emerging ventures.
I'm also patient and not a microwave investor, but the deterioration in gross margin percentage from Q1 to Q2 alarmed me, as I seem to recall that they said they were making progress in that regard. When I become convinced they are making progress on gross margin percentage growth is when I will be back in.
I appreciate the sentiment, oldman! Be careful what you wish for though - I'll evaluate buying back in if and when it hits the high thirties, so I'm not sure you should be hoping for that!
I agree that the potential of the various ventures is very high, and with what what I think will be a very difficult period from now until late September for the market in general, particularly if negative news comes out of the Jackson Hole meeting, if the price does drop to the high thirties I'll probably buy back in. I would really like to see this company succeed.
It does sound very good. With what I see as an increasingly horrific environment for stocks in general, which in the absence of quantitatively definitive news from the company will put downward pressure on the share price, I'll keep my cash on the sidelines until mid-November when the next 10-Q filing takes place. If there has been at least some quarter-over-quarter margin improvement at that point, I'll likely be back in.
I'm not sure what makes you think that they have the resources to buy a company with roughly eight times their current number of employees, but if they can somehow manage to do that, I might buy back in.
