Newbie and first-time poster, so be nice. I've been reading your posts since diving in over a year ago in the .18s and am so grateful for everyone's input and DD. But I was getting nervous (antsy lol) when it started dropping last couple weeks. So I sold a bit to get my initial investment back. Kind of a drag but oh, what peace of mind... Just might re-enter if it drops again.
Two thoughts: As a nurse and admin with 10 yrs in pharma, I've seen that drugs can take years for fda approval, what with frequent tweaks to the protocol and amendments and updates and meetings and on and on, etc. Seems to take 4 ever.
Personally never a big fan of placebo trials especially in phase 3. You're already ill. If I tested positive and my doc presented this drug trial to me, and once he revealed I might get the placebo, I'd be like, hell no. I'm sick, albeit moderately, I could get worse, and even die. I want everything that's out there now thrown at me, i.e. hydrochloroquin, steroids, ivermectin, remdesivir... whatever. Is it crazy to think that enrollment might be slow because many don't want to chance getting a placebo? JMO
Still in it to win it. GLTA. Need a bit more patience, tho.
