It's a great sign. I haven't seen a lot of breakout charts like this recently. It's more likely for stocks to bounce off resistance. Hopefully VATE will follow suit.
lol Grass roots marketing. Nice!
FUD like yours has been tossed around before the time that Trump got into office. It holds no weight.
As for CBD/Hemp/Marijuana sectors, it's just starting to heat up. The farm bill is just the start. The momentum created from states legalizing marijuana is just the start. CBD is the hottest health trend and will continue with the support of the farm bill. Companies will need to start catching up with demand.
"It all comes down to $, rate of growth, share structure , product , income, speed of operation." Awesome, you speak my language. Should take some time to read through your posts and stock picks.
The branding/website are a step in the right direction, though. It's a good foundation for the product line. For customers that shop with their eyes, it should help get the product recognized by mainstream consumers. Hopefully the growth of the company or future partnerships will generate enough noise on it's own. Waiting on something like legislation to draw attention to the industry for price spikes like in 2014 and the late 2017 is just too long of a wait.
Over the years, I've relied primarily on public release of news/earnings through various sources and depending on the company, email/company website updates.
O/S, valuation, give me a general idea of how a company is being managed. The details of when dilution is being done (issue of yahoo finance not being up-to-date) is less important to me than the volume, frequency and if there may be reverse splits coming. When various penny stock companies appear to offer similar profit potential from an investors standpoint, factors such as these determine whether I'll focus my money elsewhere.
I'm not here to "trick people" out of shares. However, I'm against mindless pumping and/or people trying to get new investors in the same boat to psychologically appease the pumper's poor entry into the stock or hidden concerns about the stock and company. (If there's more of us believing the same thing then we should win in the end.)
Positivity, negativity, none of that makes money... Facts matter. Sound decisions based on facts, matter. Being aware of the games that an OTC company plays, helps. I prefer to be realistic about our situation as investors.
Pumping is the other side of the spectrum and is more damaging to new investors. Optimism about the company is great but allowing people to understand the realistic downside of investing in the company is a more responsible approach.
If you are seriously getting burned by a company, it is selfish to want others to jump in the same boat with you to bail you out.
Educate us then. What are the real numbers? While you're at it, how much of the stock is being held by insiders? How much float? Those numbers aren't reported on Yahoo finance.
lol My bad, I didn't know this board was only for cheerleaders.
Mmmm Weak comeback...
I'm just adding to the voices here that we should be wary of management if they continue to dilute. It's never appears to be their intent (Elev8 management and companies in general) to screw investors but they don't have control over how the market responds to the company progress or failures. What they do have control over, that has a direct negative impact on us as investors is dilution and if it comes to it, reverse splits. I've played the OTC market long enough to see the various games that are played.
You should also pull your head from the sand.
40 mil dilution. I got my numbers from Yahoo Finance. It's simple. I recorded the number of outstanding shares on 4/10/2019, which was 449.07M and checked again yesterday (493.86M) when someone mentioned recent dilution.
You'd do good to not keep your head buried in sand when "investing."
The 40 mil dilution in the past week is concerning...
The branding and site design are outstanding! It's one of the best that I've seen coming out of the CBD/hemp/MJ industry. Way to take CBD/hemp products and brand it with a modern, mainstream, familiar and healthy/organic product theme.
A little bit of price manipulation going on. lol
Sweet rally! Hope you all are profiting or have profited from it.
Heading into earnings report, 3/31. GBR priming for another spike.
Volume returning post dip. Strong push today. Hope you all have loaded up.
More than 10x recent volume. Price showing new support level.
GBR approaching 50 day moving average. Opportunity to load before next push. Watch closely.
If GBR continues to pull back in the next few days, look to improve your position. Outlook for oil has been favorable for US companies. Natural gas stores have been hit by increased demand due to winter storms.
The 11/2018 and 1/2018 price spikes demonstrate how quickly GBR can run. Market conditions continue to improve for oil and natural gas. GBRs recent trend combined with market conditions, could push it past $3.5.
Having tested $2+ within three weeks while holding steady gains, this is sure to fly when the larger market gets in on the action.
If you've been watching GBR, get on-board. GBR continues to gather strength. A clear golden crossover has occurred. Oil is seeing three year highs. The low float will send GBR skyrocketing.
Ask yourself, "Do I want to get in before ClayTader arrives or after he does?"
Good luck!
I guess he can only speak about what they have control over, which is fair and respectable. The Feds are another issue... I'd like to hear something from the Congress Cannabis Caucus on the subject. I'd like to know that they are going to combat Sessions and that they have backing from members of congress.
The AG has that sort of the power? Thought that Congress was going to vote on extending the protection.
The PNTV chart still looks good for a long term play. Hopefully it will pick up steam if the MJ rally continues.
Unbelievable action! Hopefully it will signal big money.
Great movement on low volume.
Let's get moving PNTV... Late to the MJ rally.
Definitely. Momentum is building in both company developments and PNTV share price. Looking forward to the new year.
The three month trend looks fine, with higher lows and higher highs. Pullbacks are a part of the investment cycle if any stock. It's natural for investors/systems to take profits. Buy the dips.
Per the Dec 22nd Rohrabacher-Blumenauer Amendment renewal, the states have too much momentum. It would be difficult for Sessions, even the ultra-conservative to convince Congress to discard the progress and financial impact that the states have benefitted from. Nationwide bipartisan support for MJ has been promising.
I am anticipating a favorable response from the market on the renewal of the amendment.
Price held, nice volume. Hopefully the activity will attract bigger fish.
Hopefully that will spur pro-marijuana groups and politicians to put pressure on Sessions to stand down.
I'd prefer to be in a stock before the market acknowledges the company. I prefer bargain prices. Per ones fixation on the weaknesses of a company. One can miss the forest by focusing too much on the weeds.
Read differently, PPS being held back means that this is the time to load up. The market is forward looking. By the time the company is firing on all pistons it will be to late.
If, along with a payout, they receive backing to use Comcast resources to implement their media plans, it would be huge for a company like PNTV.
They do have a track record of overpromising and under delivering. I see it as, they are excited about their future but have not yet built a realistic perspective of the demands on their time, what type of effort it takes to execute the projects. That they believe they have to take the time to personally resolve concerns is a gesture of goodwill toward shareholders and perspective investors and should be commended. Though, they would do well to hire PR to assist with communicating more effectively with the public.
How is what they do any different than other managers at their level? We cannot expect a team of Fortune 500 caliber leadership to be running an organization such as this. Expect imperfection. Imagine if we had years of "promises" of the people we work for, our parents, etc. on record. Unfulfilled promises, while disappointing are simply a distraction if we get hung up on it. From a high level, they are executing. Whether they are doing it efficiently and to our standard doesn't matter as much as, how they are doing relative to other companies in their industry. They are executing and are well positioned.
Picked up another 30k shares. Great video updates from Mark. Thanks for the reminder Danny. I'm assuming the market is preoccupied with Bitcoin and other market giants right now. When the market realizes what type of developments have been taking place with the MJ industry, things are going to get wild. Factor in time for PNTV and the industry to develop and continue to look for opportunities to invest. GLTA
I like your optimism. I completely agree that there will be a time when we won't return to these levels.
Let's also add to the equation, the industry and economic outlook. If the tax break goes through and is favorable to the economy and stock market, the timing will be perfect for a maturing marijuana industry to receive some of that diverted wealth.
It's always the low point when "investors" doubt the company and stock potential the most that they miss buying opportunities. It happens all the time. My most recent direct experience was playing MCIG, RNN, PTN (not PNTV) in 2016-2017 & watching investor sentiment ride the price action of the stock.
I believe people place too much emphasis on a correlation between fundamentals, business developments and the price of the stock. It messes with investor's minds when they don't see the stock move the direction they think it should if the company is actually making progress.
What we are experiencing could be as basic as the stock and sector isn't ripe and/or there are better opportunities elsewhere for MM & bots. Can MM and bots enter an industry littered with low cap stocks, pump it and leave? Right now there is not enough industry developments to allow the big money to enter and take gains without getting left as bag holders.
Find good companies in the industry, take your positions when you can. Don't go all in. Chances are you won't pick the bottom. Be patient. Big money will return. There needs to be enough excitement in the industry to attract bag holders so they can play the stocks and make their exit. Your competition is the next bag holder/average investor at the .20, .30, even dollar level. You won't see the money if you don't position favorably with big players. Three bagger+ type of plays take time to develop.
Some people play stocks after the market arrives. Ref Clay Trader's methods. Many on this board have chosen to get in when the big players aren't here, so need to be patient and/or choose better entry methods.
In this young industry "winners" are relative. A company like PNTV, which isn't as horrible as many others can be seen as a winner.

Pump and dump?
It's pretty obvious that the market isn't riding the marijuana industry right now. This should mean to investors, choose your companies and look for opportunities to buy. The market will cycle back and pump the industry. Our best bet is continued favorable legislation for the industry, even if it is other states legalizing it.
On the side of investing for the long term, we can nitpick PNTV management and why PNTV isn't a dollar but need to be patient with their development and hope that they don't do anything catastrophic as the industry grows.
Toxicity and profitability in this industry is relative. We can't look at them in the same light as blue chip companies. PNTV is one of the more promising marijuana companies.
This industry can be the next tech bubble, when/if momentum fully swings in our favor.
