I think this is it! Titanium is notoriously difficult to machine. Given the graceful compound curves and multiple textures (matte with micro texture vs shiny with a jewelry quality finish) seen across the Ultra’s case, I think this is BMG. Only time will tell if this benefits us in any way, but I’m not selling any shares. I also notice star shaped screws (haven’t we seen patents related to those too?) on the Ultra’s titanium/ceramic backplate that are not present on my Series 6 stainless steel Apple Watch… Good luck, Jay, and hang in there! I’ll take a closer look when my Ultra arrives in late October!

Apple supplier Luxshare will be the "sole supplier" for a "high-end" 2-inch Apple Watch model this year.
244 shares traded so far today as of 12:34pm EDT.
Very well said, and matches my sentiments as well.
Jay, do you maintain conviction for our future in this investment?
Is anyone else watching The Dropout on Hulu? 99% of that call felt like the episode where Amanda Seyfried's Elizabeth Holmes meanders the investor as slowly as possible through the Theranos office, forcing him to view things like "the brainstorming room" which he has zero interest in seeing. He wants to see the prototype, but since she has no working prototype to share, Elizabeth shows him everything else instead.
I predict we'll dip back below $0.10 tomorrow. I won't sell a single share, but I've lost my mind.
What a shit show. No questions allowed.
Not sounding good so far... :(
Can anyone confirm it has not been referenced as an "Earnings" Conference Call in the past?

I THOUGHT something seemed off today! Good call Jay!
E*TRADE now says earnings will be released on 3/22 (unconfirmed, of course).
I misspoke! I just tracked down statements from my old, old, old brokerage. It looks like I bought my first 300 shares on 4/19/12 for $0.2925/share. I've accumulated steadily ever since. I now have over a million shares. The only time I've sold was about a month before the first Lugee news. But right before the news dropped, I had a sick feeling that I would regret selling the shares. At that point, I swallowed the bile and repurchased all that I had sold, and then some. I have accepted that my position in LQMT could dwindle to zero, but I truly do not think that will happen. I think it will double at a minimum, and probably be worth at least ten times the current price within 2 years. But, maybe not. Only time will tell. Good luck to all.
I am nearly always bullish on LQMT, and I still am, but waiting for these earnings releases without any communication from management is excruciating. As I get older (I've been in this for over 8 years) it gets tougher to take. At this point, I would welcome a buyout at $0.30/share and would view it as a sign from the universe that I should move on with my life and cease any consideration of penny stocks. This is the only one I've ever owned, and I own a lot of it. Eager to get on with things.
I do not believe they have dropped 10Ks after this time of day in the past. The cliffhanger continues...
Screw what it would mean for the stock price, I want LQMT listed on the Nasdaq so that they have to schedule the effing earnings releases in advance. This guessing game is acceleratingly aging me. Ugh.
E*TRADE says the same, 3/16 (unconfirmed).
That is a bit of an oversimplification. You are correct that Apple outsources manufacturing, but Apple engineers and product designers invent new ways of manufacturing products that were previously impossible to manufacture. Apple is far from just a marketing company.
Or to allow the new global accounting firm to conduct a truly thorough audit of all financials since inception.
Well played!
At the time, most phone screens were plastic (including the actual demo unit of the original iPhone that Steve Jobs introduced to the world in 2007, incidentally!).
The tactile feeling, durability, and scratch-resistance of Corning's Gorilla Glass were game changers for the premium nature of iPhones. Apple credited Corning specifically because it increased the perceived value of the product.
Hopefully Apple will credit LiquidMetal as a game-changing material innovation that has been under joint development for over a decade. Hard for others to catch up with all the patents and manufacturing know-how required to actually bring this stuff to market in a big way!
1,000% gains just ain't what they used to be! Part of becoming an adult, I suppose.
Lesson in math:
A 100% gain means a stock doubles, so you multiply it by 2.
A 200% gain means a stock triples, so you multiply it by 3.
A 300% gain means a stock quadruples, so you multiply it by 4.
A 400% gain means you multiply it by 5.
A 500% gain means you multiply it by 6.
A 600% gain means you multiply it by 7.
A 700% gain means you multiply it by 8.
A 800% gain means you multiply it by 9.
A 900% gain means you multiply it by 10.
A 1,000% gain means you multiply it by 11.
$0.118 x 11 = $1.298 which rounds to $1.30.
What’s your math?
The teaser certainly gives a nod to AR/VR... don't you think?
E*TRADE says LQMT earnings date is 3/8/22 (unconfirmed). And, https://www.apple.com/apple-events/.
Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. BOOM?!?
Someone else might remember the exact language and source for what I will now paraphrase from the periphery of my memory: There is something in the articles of incorporation of LiquidMetal that prevents an acquisition from being possible, even if it were in the company’s best interest to be acquired… which is probably the only reason we all still have the opportunity to get rich sooner than later with this LQMT investment! Good luck to all longs!
Not sure if this has been posted. I’m interested in the next-gen flexible hinge with roller elements…

Only time will tell, but wouldn't it be a nice treat to have blowout earnings announced pre-market on a Monday? Oh that would be swell.
E*TRADE now shows an unconfirmed earnings date of Monday, 11/15/21.
Quit playing games with my heart!!!
Posting this because I notice the screwdriver does not leave any marks on the screw...

Take a look at the big event video from yesterday at time = 31:41. You'll see an impressively and deeply embossed logo on the bottom of the "all new aluminum enclosure." Can one of the injection molding experts on the board tell us if this type of embossing is possible without injection molding? My impression is that to get right angles that deep in a material would be impossible with stamping. This logo goes far deeper than a surface stamp. It also seems to me that the contours of the body are such that machining would be extremely difficult. Note the compound curves around the corners that create the deceptively simplistic shape we have never seen on another piece of hardware.

We should each write a chapter, and hopefully the name "Liquid Gold" will be appropriate!
... and some day soon, CELEBRATE together! No one else on Earth can possibly imagine the patience of the select few on this board!!! Good luck to all as momentum is building in all directions!
