With our history of dropping on good news... we will be back down to .70 this week and the smart ones can load up more :) GGTA
I can only think of one word to describe Friday's news...
ExxiiLENT!
Ah ha! I see what you did there!
For those of you that don't know...every time there's "good news," we tank :(
Is it just me or was today's "news" not really anything new?
Short term I want to buy more in the 70s before we get the real "jp news"
Anyone else feeling like a pull back is coming next week?
Weird spike to 95
What about news on the JP suit? Any guesses on the timeline?
I was under the impression we would have heard something by now. Henry was so quiet in the past conference call that it made me think we were close to a deal, guess not.
There was a "trump-like" guy on the conference call that was really fired up about the suit and how awful JP was for doing what he did. I like his style and he was asking some hard questions but henry didn't budge.
Dying to know how we fair when the dust settles from this thing
Being cash flow positive might just be the ammunition we need to get over that pesky 200ma once and for all.
In lieu of the recent halts put on certain brands by the FDA, an extension of the BAT contact seems probable. That would offset any operational costs, much like back in early 2014. We were millions into the cash flow positive before a pack of RS was ever sold!
Any educated guesses for q3 revenue?
At .50 a cig (what most marbs go for) those 5 million NIH cigarettes are worth at least 2.5 million.
Maybe we get a cash flow positive surprise
no idea, I'll definitely watch Tuesday now though. I was already stopped out at 33.25
I'm trying to teach myself how this works so any feedback is appreciated.
Why I bought today...

I keep seeing critics using the same "well if they don't get nicotine what are they smoking for" argument.
To them I say:
We have high nicotine cigs too!
Please correct me if I'm wrong but our Cigs range from:
.04 mg MAGIC
.20 mg (80% less than a conventional cig)
And from what I understand the ability to pack a cig with more nicotine than anyone could ever want or need using a natural growing process.
Take a pack a day smoker for example, he/she only needs 10 cigs to deliver the same mg of nicotine they are used to. It will save them money, time (going outside to smoke in the winter etc.), and life on their lungs. Less cigs smoked... Less tar ingested... same nicotine (or more, or less! It's up to the consumer).
The above scenario is like taking a few shots rather than slugging a six pack of ipas. XXII products seem like the obvious choice for smokers that are ONLY looking for a nicotine buzz.
We have the selection that smokers really crave.
Nice volume this morning. And apparently a nice psychological support at a buck.
GM XXII! Nice news to start the week! we just gotta break above that 200 ma
I consider henry the type of guy who is in this for the long run. He sold off Am. Spirits for hundreds of millions once upon a time.
I guess my question regarding a buyout is who needs it if we have the global market cornered and the patented technology to make the only true earth-to-paper "light" cigarettes in the world?
*side note (related- please don't delete)*
There is another company from Buffalo called Athenex in a very similar position. They believe they have the cancer treatment market cornered so they don't consider themselves a takeout target anymore; but rather a potential contender in the global market space.
I see XXII and Athenex (formerly kinex) in almost identical expansion scenarios. A takeout at these levels or anything less than our 6.36 ath would be devastating for longs.
I'm looking for multiples on my money and that is why I'm still here.
Bottom line, I bet Henry doesn't want a buyout...
Xxii (and the FDA) vs. Big Tobacco: David vs. Goliath
This week should be fun. I'm expecting some Jp settlement news any day now.
no insider buying OR selling? Based on what Henry told me during the conference call that probably means that there is non-public information inhibiting any trading.
Can someone who follows both ANY and "the other" stock comment as to which stock they feel is a better opportunity at this moment? They have both been beaten down lately and seem similar in their game changing technologies.
I'm not a share holder of ANY (yet) but these prices appear to be deeply discounted as well.
q: if the share price is so low why haven't we seen more insider buying?
A: there's certain windows that must line up to assure that insider buying is not motivated by undisclosed information. (Makes sense)
Henry bought at $1.28 most recently. So he is in the red like most of us.
I liked the guy that chirped out Joey p. Bravo!
nice little gap up this morning.
earnings of 2.3 million beat on estimates of 1.5 mill.
narrowing losses on our EPS.
#4 on the Breakout Boards
cya on the conference call everybody!
Short interest is down about 40% in july, institutional ownership is up about 40% in July. August needs to be our turn around month. Let's put a fire under this already henry!
Hey people...BOXES of Cigs = money$$$
Our bottom line is improving every day.
Thanks again for the video Zed.
...Roll tide
Two words to the wise longs: average down.
Go hit some golf balls and I'll cya in 2016.
Lol when we report a 2 million q2 revenue and everyone scrambles around... "I wish we bought in the 70s..." "To da moon" etc.
just load up. Thank me later.
Is it time to buy if you're looking for that dead cat bounce?
"Organizations that wish to manufacture and dispense medical marijuana must apply to DOH for registration as a registered organization and, if approved, conform to specific requirements. Registration will be valid for two years at a time, will be renewable, and will be subject to revocation. Registered organizations will be required to comply with strict security and record-keeping requirements. The law allows for up to five registered organizations, located in New York State, to grow, manufacture, distribute and dispense marijuana for medical use. Each registered organization may operate up to four dispensing facilities statewide, for up to an initial total of 20 geographically-dispersed dispensing facilities."
I'm banking on the genetically modified marijuana as another one of the catalysts for our long term success. If we could be one of these "registered organizations" that gets approved, that would be a cataclysmic event for our pps. Botanical genetics and our overall mission "to reduce the harm caused by smoking" seem to fall in line with what NYS is looking for out of their pot companies of the future.

Buying op soon... Stay tuned
GM xxii! I'm cautiously optimistic about today.
If we go up, I'm thrilled.
Down enough to hit my 90 cent buy, I'm thrilled.
Consolidate sideways and coil for a breakout...I'm thrilled.
To not see red for a week has been a sight for sore eyes.
$XXII double your money by EOY from these levels. $2 dollar price target is very fair IF our revenue is increasing as fast as most of us expect it is.
Our market cap is currently embarrassing for a company in our position.
MSA, EOY international distribution(2000stores) domestic distribution (500? Stores), owns our own factory, "promising" MJ tech, Henry's proven leadership at the helm.
"to have a valid Morning Star formation, most traders will look for the top of the third candle (6/17) to be at least halfway up the body of the first candle in the pattern.(6/15)"
Sorta looks like we have a morning star reversal pattern on the daily. Any Chartists out there, feels free to elaborate. I'm new at this. TIA
Xxii makes a safer cig....de Blasio hears about Xxii....He bans the unsafe ones like he banned soft drinks...we get rich!
The day to day fluctuations in SP are small timers trading hands. Whales will need to pay attention to us when all they see is RS on every street corner in NYC.
$XXII: Institutional investors increased their holdings in XXII by 39.8% Q/Q, with 2,758,080 net purchase. 28 institutions have a holding in XXII shares. These institutional investors hold 7% of XXII's total shares and 11% of its float. Insiders and 5% owners hold 38% of XXII shares.
Anyone have a guesstimate as to our q2 earnings release date?
Hammer on the daily.
Hammer on the weekly.
Seems like a buy to me, especially with the horizontal movement through May. Trading shares re-acquired.
Downtrend is over. I'm calling a bottom here at around a dollar...Not a penny .01 like HATE22 had predicted.
We blasted right through that hammer reversal signal from yesterday. "Fools rushed in"...the downtrend continues
Dead cat bounce
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/22nd-century-group-announces-6-113000779.html?.tsrc=applewf
"22nd Century Group, Inc. (NYSE MKT: XXII), a plant biotechnology company whose mission is to reduce the harm caused by smoking, announced today that it has entered into an agreement with a single institutional investor to receive $6 million in gross proceeds in a registered direct offering through the sale of common stock and warrants consisting of 6,000,000 shares of the Company’s common stock and 66-month warrants to purchase 3,000,000 shares of common stock at an exercise price of $1.25 per share (not exercisable for six months from issuance). If the warrants are exercised for cash in full, the Company would receive additional gross proceeds of approximately $3.75 million."
WOWZA 6 million bucks should help that negative cash flow! Go xxii!!
That's pretty amazing growth! I wonder if it's illegal to advertise our Facebook/Twitter on our cig boxes....probably.
Cool read,
"About 40 years ago, Russell was one of the first scientists to suggest that people "smoke for the nicotine, but die from the tar" – an idea that helped lay the ground for the NRT business of gums, patches, vaporizers and now e-cigarettes."
Seems like our low tar to nicotine cig would fit this mold very well. I have trouble keeping our products straight sometimes since we have such an extensive pipeline.
I like to think its like owning an entire market... like coffee. For example, You walk into 7-11 and there's a choice, decaf, regular, extreme caffeine. Xxii will be able to cater to everyone from light users to heavy pack/2pack a day smokers.
We are coiling like a spring right now, ready to pop on that Asian deal HENRY is "optimistic about completing by the end of the year."
Could be sooner, right!
