Perfect gapup as expected - I think it can run to $2 by 10AM - - from there, could be a boom or bust I reckon.
Yeah, I am going to loan up on this one. Has a real solid base at 1.65 - 1.70. I expect will close around the HOD of 1.8, and then gap in the morning.
Merry Christmas - thanks pot stocks
Big news day. 3rd highest traded ticker. This looks like the beginning of a nice 3-day run. Should close up 30-50 today, and then gap tomorrow.
T12 Halt - Additional Information Requested by NASDAQ
Trading is halted pending receipt of additional information requested by NASDAQ.
Drys will come out of this. Its a 15 day max halt. Won't take that long though. Won't be to greys. I am trading the related shippers that are spiking crazy. This halt hurt me on those which sucks. They will be interesting to trade today - - made me a lot of money yesterday.
I think it would be a good pick up for Monday. Penny stocks are of course always risky, but this promoter has a strong track record (still pretty new, but that is OK, as too much attention has its issues also). Look at EURI in Nov/Dec - should trade very similar. A nice exit would be $1 to $1.50. Should hit its high within 2 weeks. Always possible it will never take off - no guarantees in life, and sure as hell not on the OTC - but it is a good risk/reward trade IMO. Just have a reasonable exit plan/be prepared for some potential wild fluctuations in week 1 - losers in the stock market are always those who trade on emotion/fear and don't stick to a plan. Make your plan and stick with it - win or lose - that is my advice.
Good luck
Things are looking good. We tested the promo opening price and it held up - good thing cause I grabbed more. Should be double + by next Friday.
Cloudweb Inc (OTCMKTS:CLOW) is the new pick from Elite Penny Stock Group. Elite has proven to be the most powerful newsletter group on the OTC markets. Websites include finestpennystocks.com, smartstockchoices.com, smartstockwinners.com, BestAmericanStocks.com, and many others.
Not quite APS or anything, but there last two picks did what they were suppose to do and this one looks like it will do the same.
I don't think so, but its possible. I have traded promos for many years. I am not worried about those 8 cents. I have a core position I picked up in the morning. Sold a little of the extra I picked up already for some quick easy profits. I have a buy order in just in case it comes back down to the open, which it will bounce off or easily re-hit. I don't think it will get filled - don't really care either way. Next Thursday's PPS is what I am really interested in. Will be over $1 then, and this conver about 8 cents won't matter much.
Funny, I recognize maybe only one name on this board. The last time promos were hot, these boards were flooded. Looks like the experienced promo traders left for good as things were so crappy for so long. I always trade both the OTC and the real markets - was no big deal to me to wait for decent promos to return. I knew they would eventually - history always repeats itself on the OTC. That is why I am confident the ticker will move the same as always - the game has not changed, just some fresh traders it seems which is always nice.
I did put the "new" in quotes for a reason.
I agree we will hit a dollar - I figure by next Wednesday. Really good action today - great volume, stayed above the opening PPS, closed near the HOD. I watched the past two - this one has had hte strongest start; they have done well building a new following. I figure we will close up about 15% tomorrow.
Sure is nice to have promo stocks worth trading again - - trading oil stocks lately has been fun, but I have missed the OTC.
Agreed. Been a long-time since I have traded an OTC promo stock --basically since the end of the beatiful pot stock run last year. This "new" promoter finally seems to have some skills. This ticker should make 3 in a row, and then we can trade all of their future promos until the damn SEC interferes again (that should not happen until at least 2017 - we have had a nice long break without decent promos so no one should be paying attention anymore, leaving us to fun and profits).
Should be OK for today - I am thinking we get another 30% up before the pull back. Ticker still hasn't had a stereotypical really big day yet - just nice and steady so far.
After hours volume seems a bit low - about 350K - given the volume today. I mostly took profits, but held some to see if we can get a gapup; the chart suggests to me we should open around $21. I have not picked up any additional shares after hours but may in the PM tomorrow - I will wait to see what 8:00AM looks like. It would be nice to get another big rally day tomorrow - after today, tomorrow will certainly bring big swings. I am guessing AH closes around $19, and that, that price will be available in the early PM if all goes as planned.
No question about legitimacy of takeover bid anymore - see http://www.wsj.com/articles/american-apparel-approached-by-private-equity-firm-1418946746 for example. I don't see why we won't gapup big in the morning - will just take another big buyer like the one that bought the 2M shares when the story first broke.
Agreed - they story is all over the place now. Seems as though the old CEO may have assembled a group to make the offer. Seems legit - I think we get the nice gapup
I think we can get a nice morning gapup based on the story, unless it is disputed. If it is confirmed by the company, we could gap to $1.3. There was some serious volume on the spike, so some traders are banking large funds on the story being legitimate.
I just gave you a link to the post - hard to tell if it is legit, but it appears to be. I am considering picking some more up after hours hoping the company puts out a PR to address the bid - I think they would have to?
I guess this tweet about the takeover bid of $1.3 - $1.4 sent the shares on the big spike EOD? I held some so I was happily surprised by the sudden big spike.
http://www.benzinga.com/news/14/12/5092497/ny-post-business-tweets-ny-post-exclusive-american-apparel-gets-takeover-offer-va
I sold some of my shares after hours for $2.70. I wonder if I will regret that come Monday, as we are looking like we will have another 30% gap-up.
This has been a great run, but there is still a lot of potential here (looking at the long-term chart). I may load up more on Monday morning after seeing if the gapup holds, and then just put on a faily tight stop and see what happens. Looks like oil won't be stopping is epic fall anytime soon (I also use ERY for that trend).
Hey Bagels - remember we were joking around about my post on Friday where I said something like "who are we kidding, we both know I am right" to that other poster looking for a dip; well, surprise, surprise - I was right again. Looks like a good morning here. This pocket change will take care of the kids Xbox One and games for Christmas.
Starting at .34 with the early trades - good sign. That should be the cheapest anyone gets in today. $5M is a nice promo budget - this ticker should provide for some fun trading for at least a couple of weeks.
Weak close? The close was beautiful. No chance we see .24 in the short-term. The morning pull back to .295 after the initial pop is as low as this one will go until the end of the promo. The ticker had all day to crap out, but only dropped to .305 and then rallied at close to a nice mid-high of day level. Now we are setup for the easy .37-.38 gap and run.
Guess we will see who is right Monday (who am I kidding, we both know it is me - I have been trading promos a long-time; they all work the same)
It is a nice promo piece with a big budget. I have done well on all of their most recent picks, and like the ticker they picked here (hot industry and oddly, the ticker has a long trading history). Should run nicely like TGRO and WPWR did - perhaps we will see $1 by next Friday.

Hey Kids. Statler here.
You have been patient... Very patient indeed!
It is now official... I am now revealing to you my NEWEST MONSTER PICK - eCrypt Technologies Inc (ECRY). To get the full story click here to watch the video.
ECRY could start to go bonkers pre-market tomorrow - so watch it VERY closely!
I have been looking now for months for a company that is in the cyber security space. I believe that the opportunity to fix the broken nature of online security is a massive opportunity but I could not find the right company until someone on my research team uncovered what I believe to be one of the biggest gems of a company I have seen in a long time - ECRY.
WATCH THE VIDEO HERE!
Cybercrime is a multi billion dollar a year problem.
A recent article in London's Telegraph pointed to a study by the Center for Accounting and Strategic International Studies. The report put the entire revenue generated from internet business to be about 2 to 3 trillion dollars. The report went on to suggest that cyber crime extracts between 15 to 20% of that. Think about the magnitude of the problem. We are talking about a problem worth around 445 billion dollars a year worldwide.
Take a look a few recent examples...
1) Target- hackers got hold of 110 million customer records. This has so far cost the company 148 million dollars and counting!
2) Home Depot where 60 million credit card files were stolen
3) JP Morgan where hackers got 76 million customer files.
And even worse than these massive companies are the governments where if hackers can get access to the wrong sort of info people could die.
ECRY has taken aim at the weak underbelly in every network where most of these hacker attacks are originating -email.
Email is the entry point for most hackers.
You know the story, you click on the wrong link or download the wrong attachment and you have let the bad guys into your network.
There are 182.9 billion emails sent in a day in the world and according to Symantec over 65% of them are spam. And of the spam 1 in 408 of them are malware designed to screw with a network and 1 in 466 of them are a phishing attack trying to get people to click on the wrong link so hackers can steal private info off the network..
What ECRY's flagship product, eCrypt One has done is totally reengineer the way email is done.
WATCH THIS VIDEO EXPLAINING WHY I BELIEVE ECRY COULD BE MY BIGGEST PICK EVER!
Normally email servers allow traffic from the web to come "in" to it's network while trying to use third party software to weed out bad actors. Trouble is that this third party software is only 98% accurate. So doing some simple math shows that letting 2% through is not good enough.
What ECRY's product does is first to update and improve on the present software that sits on the server.
But to my mind the big innovation from ECRY is what happens, or better yet does not happen next.
On an ECRY network no one is allowed to send or receive emails unless they are either a known entity like a worker at a particular company.
If the person is not known, say someone from the outside world, in order to send an email that person has to register and make themselves known. So instead of just letting the whole world send spam into a network and try to weed it out no one can even interact with the network unless they raise their hands and register.
It is like ECRY is shining a light and all the hacker cockroaches are running for cover.
Again think of all the companies, and government bodies that are going to be lining up at the door.
ECRY has not only the best, most compelling technological solution to the problem of cyber hacking I have come across, but they have the best management team I have seen in the micro cap game maybe ever.
The CEO Dr Thomas Cellucci was the first ever Chief Commercialization Officer for the Department of Homeland Security. He was charged with finding the best new technologies in the world to help keep our country safe. And the people he reported to were the presidents of the United States of America George W Bush and Barak Obama.
With credentials like these, let alone the contacts that Dr. Cellucci has developed, it is a home run to have him steering this ship.
And it does not stop there. On the board is Jay Cohen a retired Rear Admiral in the Navy and Curt Weldon who spent over 20 years in Congress.
As you know one of the hardest things about business is having the right contacts who trust you to give your product a try.
The leadership team at ECRY has the experience and contacts to take this company to the moon. ECRY has an amazing solution to a problem that is cutting right to the core of our connected economy, how do we keep ourselves and our information safe?
I highly recommend that you put ECRY on your radar immediately.
Happy Trading,

Great close and great volume today. First decent promo in a bit. Should open Monday around .37 and run. Christmas present from the OTC.
I love FNMA and FMCC as much as the next day-trader, but don't kid yourself; how many bluechip tickers are you familiar with trading on the big boards that are under US government control with all rights stripped from the common shareholders, including voting rights and dividend entitlement. There is a reason these companies trade on the OTC with nominal value.
I made come nice profit on them today - cashed out a little early, but I am still happy. Not sure how high this rally will go - I messed up and should have kept with my normal strategy of using a trailing stop.
Agreed - it is one of the reasons I always keep FMCC and FNMA on my streamer (i.e., for these quick arbitrage flips). Even if it is only .04 or .03, it is a good deal as it is super low risk. Besides, .03 of $150K is still a nice easy $1,500.
I have tried the same with FNMAS and FMCKJ but it does not work as well - those two can maintain an odd spread longer and before it closes, the market can move them up or down therefore taking away the easy win opportunity.
I agree with an earlier poster that it is an opportunity. It actually happens quite often, but then the gap always closes. We have actually had some instances where FMCC briefly traded higher than FNMA, in which case I buy FNMA. I think these gaps arise when a shareholder of one of the two is dumping a lot of shares and holds one of them back. I will load up on FMCC in the morning if the gap is still there. By the end of the day, it will be back to .05; I expect the gap to close be 10:30 and consider this a great opportunity for easy money. Also note that FNMA took off EOD yesterday - FMCC missed out on this EOD spike and will make it up this morning IMO.
I sold some of mine Friday AH for $1.85 - boy do I feel dumb. Oh well, profit is profit, and I still hold some. This morning, I may buy even more at open and then flip. Big question is, will we have a gap and trap, or a gap and run. Right now, my money is on a gap and run, but I will have to see how the last 10 minutes of PM manifest. I hope it dips a little before open from its PM high and then starts to climb into open - I love that pattern as it almost always means the PM high will be reached and I can buy more at open and flip for quick easy cash. I also hold L@KE this morning - gotta love these ebola tickers (not too sound immoral, but ebola has been great to my pocket book)
Amazing pop today - I hopped in and out for a nice fast profit; not sure how high it can go. will be interesting to see how it closes.
I was about to quickly trade the bounce but it is halted - need to find out why still; probably just b/c it dropped so fast (ie, and automatic halt) but not sure right now - could be some easy money here
This is one amazing ticker. I keep taking profits on the way up thinking it can't go much higher, and then it goes even higher. At least every time I have bought back in, I have made more. The only mistake I made is not just holding it the entire time. Wonder when this recent rally will end - can we see another 10% today? I will probably take profits again if we hit another 10%, and then it will probably go higher.
Yeah, 50% is a stretch goal. 30% would be more in-line with past moves.
I always take profits as I trade - one of the reasons I have been in this game a long time. On a gapup, I will always dump a few shares to lock in some lunch money. Then, I see if it is going to run or dip. If it runs, I use a trailing stop, and sometimes buy more on the way up if it looks like it has a lot of room. If it drops, I sell more, and then put in a stop at my ACB. I like to be conservative - sometimes I don't fully capitalize on big runs, but that's OK, b/c I also don't get killed on crashes. Most of my hits come from gap downs (can't avoid unexpected bad news sometimes) and halts (I play the OTC heavily and and also got caught in the NEWL halt on the Nasdaq this year; to manage halt risk on the OTC, I just limit the amount invested overnight - OTC has been crap for the most part since April though and tickers like CNET, DGLY, TKMR, GPRO and various IPOs have been my bigger money-makers).
You nailed it; the key to a great day-trading ticker is heavy daily volatility and volume. Who cares what this company is worth; I for one have made a lot trading it, both long and short. I won't be short tomorrow - looks like an easy gap and run for the morning, and I will only trade this one long until the momentum dies. One of the great things about this ticker has been the the way all drops have been clearly foreshadowed. I will trade a great ticker like CNET over a "real" company any day (in the long run, I expect the company to be worthless, but in the short-run, which is all that matters, we could easily go up another 50% before the crash).
I don't know about $50, but we should hit $43 tomorrow I figure, given the ticker was projected to be worth at least that with an $83 BABA value at the IPO - BABA trades about 10% higher than that. AH was at about $42; I think we will open tomorrow at $43 - not sure if it will rally from there or just tread water similar to pre-BABA IPO.
Not a bad plan - we are now looking like a $34+ open which is high; I may dump at open and then try to repurchase the dip and rip - only problem is, it may shoot straight up, so I will not dump all at open.
Yeah, maybe I should just let it ride until 1pm or so - a small portion anyway. I have banked enough profits and I would hate to miss out on a 30% run today (which I would call a nice stretch goal for the day). I will probably use a rolling stop for my remaining position; once the momentum dies, these can fall pretty quick.
I predicted a $33 open yesterday after close - we are there now and it will be interesting to see what happens. I took some profit in PM at $33.5. I will hold the rest to see if we can hit $36. If we open around $32, I think we will have not problem hitting $34 and will load up and flip - made good money doing that on the RWLK IPO the other week.
Made more on this today than I was expecting - just wish I was not so conservative and did not take some profits at $29 (I thought it may dip in the last 15 mins from profit-taking, but it just kept taking off). This bad boy should open around $33 IMO and test $35-36 tomorrow. IPOs and the IT security sector have been hot - perfect timing for this one (also had the market recovering today which helped). Its sad, but bad news such as Ebola, the Home Depot credit card breach (among many others), and Ferguson are great for stock rallies.
I am enjoying this run. Jumped in yesterday when I normally would not have b/c the volume is a bit low, but I am of course glad I did now. Lets see this go back to .6 by Monday. I had a nice day between this one and wild CYBR on the big boards.
I bailed on FREE at open when we did not get the GAP I was hoping for. Funny, I should have went with that other crappy Greek shipper, NEWL, which is way up on the greys today. I am actually thinking FREE looks not too bad again. The price has stabilized and it is not a shock it could not hold yesterdays EOD run-up. I may buy back in.
