Hi Doug, the news of a rig heading to the first drill in 10AB did not go out void. I think that those who know about AB's potential( i.e, China, india, hedge funds and other weighted financial institutions) would surely like to load up. So, in the meantime, they might be shorting.

" PROSPECTING: An offshore oil drilling rig. Photo/REUTERS
Pancontinental Oil and Gas NL has increased its stake in Block L10B at the Kenyan Coast, on the Sunbird reef where discovery was made in Sunbird-1 well on Block L10A.
In an update on Wednesday, the Australian company said it was granted approval by the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum to raise its interest to 25 per cent from 15 per cent as at March.
London-listed BG Group, which operates the block's licence, has also increased interest to 75 per cent, with Premier Oil and PTTEP exiting (farm-outs). The joint venture is now considering a second well on the block following success on Sunbird-1, it said.
"The L10A consortium is now considering the location of one or more additional wells. A drilling decision will be made after further technical and joint venture consideration," it states in the update.
Besides the 25 per cent interest in Block L10B, Pan Continental has interests in blocks L6 offshore (40 per cent), L6 onshore (16 per cent) and L10A (18.75 per cent).
A 14-metre-thick oil column and 29.6m gas column were discovered in the Sunbird-1 well, the first verified offshore discovery in East Africa. The discovery was first made in February and confirmed in June. Pancontinental said it considers the well "a play opener".
"A significant opportunity now opens for Pancontinental to find commercial oil (and gas) in its areas offshore Kenya using commercially confidential Sunbird oil data," it said.
Sunbird-1 well is 50Km from the port of Mombasa, according to the company. It said it believes to be in an excellent position to explore for larger, commercial volumes of oil and gas over its "extensive portfolio of prospects and leads" in the Lamu Basin.
Pancontinental said Milio International has farmed in and is exploring the onshore portion of Block L6. The offshore portion is open for drilling under a farm-in, meaning it will sell part of its interest in the portion.
The block is operated by FAR Ltd (60 per cent). Both will be "free-carried for new seismic and the drilling of an onshore well, expected to spud early 2015." The farm-in is yet to be approved.
The joint venture partners are seeking a farminee to drilling the offshore portion of L6 and reimburse back costs.
"A gas discovery could supply gas to a major power generation project that is currently under consideration by the Kenyan Government," Pancontinental said.
It is in discussion with the Energy ministry for a new offshore licence for Block L8 under a joint venture, where it made the first-ever gas discovery offshore Kenya in Mbawa-1 with its partners in 2012.
"While there is no guarantee that a new PSC (production sharing contract) can be agreed, Pancontinental aims to finalise a new PSC that will better reflect matters such as gas production sharing and a revised forward work programme."

Hi Tamtam, nice to hear from you. Hope you enjoyed watching the World Cup.
It will be wonderful for both PCOGF and ERHE to both ramp up in share price.
I need a little more scratch, so I just put up 14K shares of PCOGF to pay an extra bill that i did not expect. Since they wanted to be paid promptly, I put the shares up for sale at 0.029, and there there right now. The ask in the American market is now 4 cents, so I expect they can be picked up now between 3 cents and 4 cents.

Redtxdog, it not commercial yet, but when they drill the other two prospects, and they discover more oil, it will then likely be commercial.
Red
Hi Redtxdog, nice to hear from you. We all go back in time, back to the days we formed the Elephant Fields yahoo site, to which 1000 investors piled in. Out of that group, I formed another venue for the sole purpose of 48 subscribed Elephant Hunters to discover the NEXT greatest oil junior. After several months of due diligence, we narrowed the field of contestants down to five companies, and to make a long story short,Pancon was the consensus winner.
Today, 10 years later, Pancon finally found it's legs and is ready to make it on the big platform. They discovered ( with their partners ) first kenyan offshore oil. It was a great discovery, albeit a little short for the commercial space, but there stands today two more prospects on either side of the oil Sunbird prospect. I am assuming that these two other prospects are updip and downdip, the updip prospect should bring more gas to the cause, and the downdip should have oil, enough to greet the Commercial Tag.
Just as exciting,Pancon's assets in Nambia are now up on the stage, and the rumors about billions of barrels may come to fruition.
So, you see, Pancon is hot and ready to get even hotter. I think Pancon's share price will get up to a dime before year 2015.
Good luck to you.

Maybe and finally this is the first spark in Mes's Lightening Strike in share price.
I have followed Mes and Bobby Shields for years and have spoken to him a few times. He's very open to investors' queries and very willing to release intel that is not a release of insider information.
From all my research on NZ, the concensus with the gov is that fracing is ok if it is done properly. I would assume that Shields will have his eyes and ears on Tag drilling the Waitangi Valley in the East Coast Basin, and he will probably duplicate that effort in Mes's Whangai Formation.
According to MES's Management Discussion and Analysis dated 3/312/13, the whangai is naturally fractured and widespread throughout the East Coast basin, reaching thicknesses of 600 meters. Three of their most prominent oil seeps in the basin have been geochemically to generation in the Whangai Formation. The oil is light sweet crude with gravities up to 50 degree API.
The amount of oil in place in the East Coast is massive and a third party report on same place 14 billion barrels or more. I think the oil in place in this basin may dwarf the Bakken.

To all news investors : Read this link and get a clue where ERBB is heading.
http://www.eteligis.com/ViewSubmission.aspx?submissionRequest=26813
This is just my opinion, but there are lots of nuggets in this story.
I think it's inevitable that American Green will sell some of their own MJ that they have cultivated. Although it's crucial to service the growers, I believe that sometime ERBB will be selling some of their own cultivation. Even just an allowance of 20% of the Zazazz products is mega money for ERBB.
There's a video out there that shows a tour through a huge warehouse where we are cultivating ( or have a percentage or a JV for the operation ). That makes me believe we already have product ready for sale. In the near term, the linked article you just read, leads me to think AG will be joint venturing with some of the growers but will have lots and lots of room to fully service ALL the growers. I would not be surprised to see AG open up a few dispensaries of their own.
And, the stories coming out of Colorado are very interesting, stories like people lining up to get into the dispensary, dispensaries running out of product. we have just scratched the surface here. The future looks good
The linked article states that we have retired 180 million shares and the float has likewise gotten smaller, I further believe that is just a start to a trend to retire a lot more shares as time passes on.
it's all good.
Welcome aboard.

Have you seen this ?? Could it possibly get any better ?? I can't imagine it can get any better, but, yet it does. This press release, released Tuesday of last week, 7/8/ 2014, which give us the newest drilling strategy and results, is loaded with bombs that can, once a few investors understand and ponder it, has the potential to drive the share price up several dollars.
Let's take a look at it. I will break it down with my comments enclosed with ==================================================================

Here it is :
" Balmoral Resumes Drilling of Martiniere Gold System, Detour Gold Trend Project, QuebecFont size: A | A | A
7:30 AM ET 7/8/14 | Marketwire
Balmoral Resources Ltd. (TSX: BAR) (OTCQX: BALMF) ("Balmoral" or the "Company") announced today that drilling has resumed on the Company's wholly owned Martiniere Gold Project located along the Detour Gold Trend in Central Quebec. Drilling at Martiniere will initially focus on further testing of the southern segment of the Bug Lake Gold Zone following the success of the winter 2014 drill program in this area. This will be followed by further testing/infill drilling of the northern segment of the Bug Lake Zone which returned numerous strong intercepts including 1,138 g/t gold over 4.38 metres in the most recently completed phase of drilling (see NR14-10; May 12, 2014).
=======================================================================
Darin is understating this, leaving out the other intercept that tested at over nine thousand grams per ton, to go along with the first intercept of over one thousand grams per ton. This alone is a massive discovery, very high grade gold and open it all directions.
Two Micky Mantle triples, for sure. Stay tuned, it does get better, not only Micky Mantle triples, but a Babe Ruth homerun.
========================================================================
"With drilling now underway at Martiniere our shareholders have results from two of the more exciting exploration projects in Canada to look forward to over the weeks and months ahead," said Darin Wagner, President and CEO of Balmoral. "As well we have plans to drill test two or three new targets within our 700 square kilometre Detour Gold Trend Project this summer, including one of the most promising gold targets we have identified to date."
========================================================================
As stated, two or three new targets ready to be drilled, including one of the most promising gold targets to date. You wonder if the density of gold in that new target may be several times larger than 1K g/t or larger than the 9K g/t.
Here comes the Babe Ruth Homerun
=========================================================================
GRASSET DRILLING UPDATE
Eight diamond drill holes have now been completed on the wholly owned Grasset Ni-Cu-PGE property to follow-up the discovery of high-grade nickel-copper-PGE mineralization within the Grasset Ultramafic Complex. Drill hole GR-14-25, the first hole to test Horizon 3 of the Complex, returned a 45.28 metre interval which graded 1.79% Ni, 0.19% Cu, 0.42 g/t Pt and 1.04 g/t Pd (see NR-14-11, May 20, 2014). The high-grade nickel-copper-PGE mineralization in hole GR-14-25 is associated with a broad zone of "net textured" sulphides surrounded by a broader halo of disseminated sulphide mineralization.
All eight holes completed to date have intersected broad intervals of sulphide mineralization along the projected extension of Horizon 3, the principal target of the current drill campaign. Seven of the eight holes have intersected net textured sulphide intervals along the Horizon, with the eighth returning heavily disseminated sulphides.
Samples from six of the first eight holes have now been delivered to ALS-Chemex in Val d'Or, Quebec for analysis. Initial results are expected within the next 4-5 weeks. An additional 4-5 holes are planned prior to a short break in drilling to allow for additional borehole geophysical work to be completed.

In short, it appears that they are talking about attacking our first VMS, which is indeed the Goly Grail for any mining company. I knew that VMS clusters were in the general area, formerly being invested in Explor resources that tried to find, but failed to find ( to date )VMS clusters near Kidds Creek over in Timmons, Ontario.. Here's some due diligence on VMS :
"Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS) Base Metal Deposits
Posted by: Staff @ Geology for Investors in Geology Basics, Mineral Deposits
Nearly a quarter of the world’s zinc production is from volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) deposits. In Canada, approximately half of country’s zinc production is from VMS deposits that also supply 40% of Canada’s silver production. VMS deposits also yield significant amounts of lead, silver, copper, and gold.
Volcanic massive sulphide deposits are accumulations of metal sulphides that precipitate from heated hydrothermal fluid associated with volcanically active under-sea environments.

The main ore minerals in VMS deposits are, unsurprisingly, sulphides, including pyrite (iron sulphide), sphalerite (zinc sulphide), chalcopyrite (copper-iron sulphide) and galena (lead sulphide).
VMS deposits contain minor amounts of silver and gold plus a large variety of other elements including cobalt, tin, selenium, manganese, arsenic, tellurium, antimony, and mercury among others. Some of these can be extracted as a by-product, increasing a mine’s profitability.

Volcanic massive sulphide deposits are accumulations of metal sulphides that precipitate from heated hydrothermal fluid associated with volcanically active under-sea environments.
The volcanic activity is caused by rifting in the Earth’s crust. A rift is simply an area where the Earth’s crust is being pulled apart, and the result is that magma from Earth’s mantle rises up beneath the area where the crust is being stretched.
Rifting causes magma from the mantle to rise and cool in the Earth’s crust. The magma expels volatiles that carry valuable elements toward the surface. The large temperature difference between the rising volatiles and seawater percolating down through the rock causes convection. Convection allows more metals to be incorporated into the fluids until the fluids finally escape to the surface through faults or similar structures. When the fluids are expelled into the ocean (via a “black smoker”) the dramatic decrease in temperature causes sulphide minerals to be precipitated onto the seafloor.
As the metal-rich fluids enter the overlying water at temperatures around 400°C, the drastic temperature decrease caused by mixing of these fluids with seawater causes the metals to precipitate out as sulphide minerals.

Zoning of a VMS deposit around a black smoker. Cp = Chalcopyrite, Po = Pyrrhotite, Py = Pyrite, Sp = Sphalerite, Gn = Galena.
VMS Size, Geometry & Distribution
The two features make VMS deposits such desirable exploration targets are their size and geometry. These deposits often form over a long time and can be reactivated on numerous occasions. This results in individual lenses that are a hundred meters thick and extend hundred meters along strike. The reactivation also causes the deposits to be zoned around the black smoker pipe, with a predictable distribution of sulphides.
The massive accumulations of sulphides show up very well in geophysical surveys because they are both denser and more conductive than the surrounding rock, making VMS deposits a relatively easy geophysical exploration targets.
The shape of the deposits makes VMS ideal for cheap open-pit mining methods because a large amount of ore can be removed without having to remove very much waste rock. This is a much cheaper mining method than when ore is hosted in narrow veins, resulting in a much higher ratio of waste to ore removal..
VMS deposits often occur in clusters within a particularly small area (~10 km2) all related to the same event, since the metal-rich fluids may escape to the surface through many vents. The discovery of one large VMS deposit may well mean that there are other targets nearby.
Almost any age of terrain can potentially host a VMS deposit. The oldest VMS style deposits are some 3.4 billion years old while the youngest are being deposited today in oceans including the Red Sea and the western Pacific Ocean. There are ~800 VMS deposits known worldwide with about 350 of those in Canada. Worldwide there is much exploration for VMS-style deposits, particularly in the remote Canadian arctic.

Stock Barber, that would be a shame, since they just concluded their first million dollar sale. If the purpose of the reverse would be to immediate increase the pps ( albeit for only a short period of time ), they could call off the reverse and allow more million dollar sales to increase the pps.
It would be sad to see the NSCT Phoenix rise from the ashes, only to be shot by the first clueless bird hunter.
Red
Stock Barber, I ask you this question, since you seem knowledgible about the subject, so in your opinion, is NSCT going to see a reverse split.
tia
red
Snayeman, agree. I would be pleased to learn if they have identified any boundary faults, foot walls, hanging walls and how deep is the basement. Did they find any leaks and do they think they have the nice sandstones AOI discovered in their Nagamia prospect ( now thought to contain 3.5 billion barrels in that basin.) The sandstones are great, critical for the tertiary basins.
Red
They can, of course, go from 2D to drilling, but IMO, they have increased their chance of success by 3D and geothermal tests. Also, it would be wise to understand if their are any agreements with the Kenyan ministry to do the 3D.
Red
Gremlin, if the company had good funding, they would be smart to 3D the best prospects or anomalies defined by 2D, then follow that up with some geo thermal tests.
JMO
Red
Geo thermal, not thermal geo. Sorry, I'm a little dislexic.
Red
emdyal - it's 2 D, then 3D then drilling, but sometimes thermal geo testing is used to collaborate the exact best 3D spot for drilling.
Sometimes, also, drillers will do some shallow testing for additional intel.
