This is a pretty wild story. One of these girls shot a 276 in her first round…204 over par. The next day she improved by 77 strokes and shot a 199! Kind of cool what they did though…

I want to be breathing in my 80's!

I run a Senior's League here, our 13th season starts in late March. We have a number of guys that have shot their age but one guy is a standout. Leo turned 86 last July and shoots his age almost every round. I've played with him a couple of times. Still pretty long at 86 and has a complete game. He played 14 league rounds last year with an average score of 81.3 and 12 of those he shot his age. 4 rounds in the 70's and a low of 71 (1 under).

Maybe there's hope for the rest of us old codgers!

Earnings weren't all that great this quarter. Interesting to see what the share price does tomorrow. Not in, just watching...

FarmLinks at Pursell Farms in Alabama has a par 3 that has a 175 foot drop from tee to green. Not 400 meters but still pretty cool!

He switched to the broomstick and is using a L.A.B. Golf putter. I bought one last December (standard, not a broomstick) and have never putted better. Putters are perfectly balanced and have no torque in the stroke.

My HS home course was Anaheim Municipal, now renamed 'Dad Miller'. Same course that was Tiger's home course when he went to Western High (although that was 20 years after me!). 17 and 18 were both par 5's. 17 was a dogleg to the left and measured 601 yards! And since 18 ran right beside it in the opposite direction there was internal OB the length of the hole...all you could see were white stakes for 600 yards! Was that way since I started playing there in 1962...

Woods built one of his learning centers there and they reconfigured a number of holes as a result...including 17 and 18...

Yeah but the names that aren't there is telling...Scheffler, Thomas, Homa, Mike Kim, Schauffle, Cantlay, Rahm, Finau, Morikawa, McIlroy, Theegalla and more. Use to be a more attractive tournament as I recall.

This event used to be fairly prestigious and attracted a lot of top tier players...appears it has fallen out of favor...sad...
