Jan 28, 2011 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Cyclone Power Technologies
announced that the streamliner vehicle designed by Chuk William's U.S. Land
Steam Record Team to break the world speed record for stea m-powered vehicles
arrived in Cyclone's facility for measurements to complete installation of the
engine, gearbox and fiberglass body.
Cyclone's Mark V heat-regenerative external combustion engine will power the LSR
car in its record breaking attempt, scheduled for later this year. Capable of
producing 100 HP with maximum starting torque of 850 ft/lbs, the stock
automotive Mark V engine is expected to propel the LSR car at speeds over 160
mph. Additionally, the powerful, compact Cyclone engine boasts very low
emissions and can run on virtually any fuel, including 100 percent bio-fuels, or
multi-fuel mixtures.
"With the Cyclone engine, we feel that we have a chance of breaking the existing
record of 148 mph set by the British team Inspiration," said steam car veteran
and team leader Chuk Williams. "We need to bring this historic record back to
the United States, and we want to do it with a steam engine that can eventually
be p laced into everyday passenger and commercial vehicles - something that
hasn't been done in over 100 years."
"Our calculations show that we can break this record with our stock automotive
engine," noted Cyclone founder Harry Schoell. "We considered modifying the
engine and combustion chamber to increase power output and speed, which we may
do in the future. But for right now, we think it's important to demonstrate the
power, clean emissions and multi-fuel qualities of a Cyclone engine as you may
possibly see it one day in an American made Ford or Chevy."
The LSR team has already garnered great interest from sponsors and supporters of
modern steam power as a viable present day alternative to gas and diesel
internal combustion engines. The project has been endorsed by the Steam
Automobile Club of America, the pre-eminent association of steam vehicle
developers, racers and enthusiasts. Other individuals associated with the team
incl ude former engineers at NASA, Lockheed Martin and MIT.
Sponsorship opportunities are available for corporations and individuals who
want to participate in this attempt at automotive racing history. Potential
supporters may include providers of U.S. grown biofuels - the team has yet to
choose a fuel for the run.

100 @ 5.50. ;)
200 @ $5 just traded even though thinkorswim shows a bid/ask of .15/.70. Strange, but I like it!
http://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/DVOP/quote shows NITE at 3.25/5.50
otcMarkets shows a level II depth for DVOP which includes DOM on the ask at $35,000. LOL
http://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/DVOP/quote
You're welcome. Right now UBSS is on the bid at 4.50 but the thinkorswim ask doesn't show anything. Weird.
DVOP has been exhibiting some of the strangest bid/ask behavior that I have ever seen. I watch it sporadically on thinkorswim, interactive brokers, and scottrade. Its normal bid/ask spread seems to be .15/.70 but will jump to values in the dollars for a while only to jump back to .15/.70 for extended periods. I've noticed that UBSS is present when the bid/ask jumps up so it's probably responsible for this activity.
I got $2 for some shares a couple weeks ago (scottrade got me price improvement from my $1.50 sell order) and am waiting to see if the price goes even higher to sell the little bit I have left. There were some $4 trades and one at $5 last Friday.
NEWS --
POMPANO BEACH, Fla., Dec 14, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Cyclone Power Technologies
(Pink Sheets: CYPW) has completed the installation and successfully powered-up
its initial waste heat power generator at the facility of its customer, Bent
Glass Design. The event marks an important milestone for Cyclone, as well as
demonstrating the viability of small-scale waste heat recovery as a clean,
renewable power source capable of off-setting fossil fuel consumption and
greenhouse gas emissions.
Cyclone's waste heat power generator -- called the WHE-GEN-10 -- utilizes the
company's scalable piston-based waste heat engine (WHE) to power an electric
generator, up to 10kW per unit. This first WHE-GEN-10 is currently converting
exhaust heat from Bent Glass Design's furnace into grid-tied electric power.
When fully optimized, this alternative power source can help reduce peak
electricity usage and corresponding demand charges at industrial facilities.
"Our system captured the furnace's exhaust heat and powered-up right away,"
stated Travis Love, Cyclone's Project Engineer in charge of WHE-GEN design and
development. "We plan to c onduct extensive thermal and operational testing, data
acquisition and system configuration over the next few months, while we analyze
its performance in real world environments."
Small-scale waste heat recovery has been an elusive goal since the 1970s,
primarily because the turbines capable of powering these systems required
massive amounts of thermal energy to be cost effective. The WHE-GEN-10 is
designed to provide an efficient, revenue producing green power system for tens
of thousands of smaller industrial facilities in the U.S. and around the world.
"As a company, we are committed to working towards greener, more efficient
energy practices," stated Andrew Lerner, Vice President of Bent Glass Design.
"We are pleased to be part of this historic project, and look forward to working
with the Cyclone team to study the WHE-GEN system in operation at our plant."
CORPORATE PROFILE
Cyclone Power Technologies is the develope r of the award-winning Cyclone Engine
-- an eco-friendly external combustion engine with the power and versatility to
run everything from portable electric generators and garden equipment to cars,
trucks and locomotives. Invented by company founder and CEO Harry Schoell, the
patented Cyclone Engine is a modern day steam engine, ingeniously designed to
achieve high thermal efficiencies through a compact heat-regenerative process,
and to run on virtually any fuel - including bio-diesels, syngas or solar -
while emitting fewer greenhouse gases and irritating pollutants into the air.
Currently in its late stages of development, the Cyclone Engine was recognized
by Popular Science Magazine as the Invention of the Year for 2008, and was
presented with the Society of Automotive Engineers' AEI Tech Award in 2006 and
2008. Additionally, Cyclone was recently named Environmental Business of the
Year by the Broward County Environmental Protection Depa rtment. For more

Dec 13, 2010 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Cyclone Power Technologies will
present its small-scale waste heat recovery system at the Power-Gen
International conference, Dec. 14-16 in Orlando, Fla.
The WHE-Gen 10 prototype to be unveiled at Power-Gen provides up to 10kW of
renewable power per unit from the waste heat of small industrial furnaces,
ovens, kilns and flares. The Company reported that this is the first system of
its size that can provide facility owners with an attractive financial payback
by creating electricity from otherwise wasted thermal energy. Cyclone Power
noted that multiple units can be coupled together to provide up to 100kW of
green power, and modified systems are being designed to run off the exhaust of
diesel engines and turbines, as well as biomass combustion.
"We know that there is a huge market for waste heat recovery systems in the size
and heat input range of the WHE-Gen 10," said Christopher Nelson, Executive VP
of Cyclone and Managing Director of its waste heat operations. "We look forward
to meeting with potential distributors and manufacturers at Power-Gen
Int ernational, who can provide worldwide sales coverage for these much needed
renewable power units."
A limited number of WHE-Gen 10 beta units are available for installation in
pilot sites, such as the one Cyclone is currently conducting with its customer,
Bent Glass Design. The Company reported that commercial production is expected
to commence in 2011. Based on U.S. Department of Energy statistics, Cyclone said
that it estimates that there are well over $250,000,000 of potential small-scale
waste heat installations in the U.S. alone that would benefit from a WHE-Gen
system.

NEWS --
POMPANO BEACH, Fla., Dec 08, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Cyclone Power Technologies
(Pink Sheets: CYPW) will present its small-scale waste heat recovery system at
the Powe r-Gen International conference, December 14-16 in Orlando, FL.
The WHE-Gen 10 prototype to be unveiled at Power-Gen provides up to 10kW of
renewable power per unit from the waste heat of small industrial furnaces,
ovens, kilns and flares. This is the first system of its size that can provide
facility owners with an attractive financial payback by creating electricity
from otherwise wasted thermal energy. Multiple units can be coupled together to
provide up to 100kW of green power, and modified systems are being designed to
run off the exhaust of diesel engines and turbines, as well as biomass
combustion.
"We know that there is a huge market for waste heat recovery systems in the size
and heat input range of the WHE-Gen 10," stated Christopher Nelson, Executive
Vice President of Cyclone and Managing Director of its waste heat operations.
"We look forward to meeting with potential distributors and manufacturers at
Power-Gen Intern ational, who can provide worldwide sales coverage for these much
needed renewable power units."
A limited number of WHE-Gen 10 beta units are available for installation in
pilot sites, such as the one Cyclone is currently conducting with its customer,
Bent Glass Design. Commercial production is expected to commence in 2011. Based
on U.S. Department of Energy statistics, Cyclone estimates that there are well
over $250,000,000 of potential small-scale waste heat installations in the
United States alone that would benefit from a WHE-Gen system.
CORPORATE PROFILE
Cyclone Power Technologies is the developer of the award-winning Cyclone Engine

run everything from portable electric generators and garden equipment to cars,
trucks and locomotives.
Currently in its late stages of development, the Cyclone Engine was recognized
by Popular Science Magazine as the Invention of the Year for 2008, and was
presented with the Society of Automotive Engineers' AEI Tech Award in 2006 and

.125 sounds good to me.
Me, too - SFTW. Those were the days. ;) I love it when an old stuckholder like this one lets me out with a profit.
Must be. Lookin' good and better every day. I held a few for dah moon.
bid 3.00 / ask 4.00 ;)
Thinkorswim Level II shows DVOP bid as 3.00, no ask. Scottrade shows 1.01 bid / 4.00 ask. thinkorswim watchlist shows .15 / .70. Strange, but interesting. Bottom line, don't settle for no .15. Last week I got 2.00 for some shares even though my order was for 1.25. Scottrade got me price improvement!
bid 1.01 / ask 3.00 - somethin's up. [EDIT] now it's back to bid .15 / ask .70. I've seen the bid/ask flash 1.01/3.00 a few times. Strange.
MMRF NEWS --
LOS ANGELES, CA, Nov 30, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- MMRGlobal, Inc.
(OTCBB: MMRF) (MMR) today announced it has signed a settlement agreement with
the Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF), resolving its lawsuit with LRF an d
giving the Company exclusive control of certain data and tissue samples created
during trials of Favrille, Inc.'s FavId(TM) vaccine. The assets had been the
subject of an ownership dispute with LRF. The Company acquired the FavId
intellectual property, along with other biotech assets, from its reverse merger
with Favrille, Inc., a San Diego biotech company, in January 2009. More than
$140 million was spent on the development of the vaccine and other biotech
assets and related patents.
According to Kathleen M. Smith, a principal at Translational Medicine Consulting
and a biorepository expert who provided expert testimony in the MMR litigation
with LRF, the tissue samples could have values substantially in excess of one
million dollars per set. When combined with clinical data and associated
intellectual property belonging to MMR, the values could be significantly
greater.
"We will continue to explore licensing opportunities for these biotech assets,
patents and other intellectual property with pharmaceutical companies,
universities and institutional investors to create future streams of revenue for
our shareholders," said Robert H. Lorsch, MMRGlobal CEO. "I look forward to
these assets being put to use to help find additional treatments for
Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and other related diseases while generating licensing
revenues to help finance the Company's primary business, namely the development
and distribution of its MyMedicalRecords Personal Health Record and MMRPro
Electronic Health Record products and services."
MMR contended that prior to the merger, portions of the Company's intellectual
property were transferred by previous employees and or consultants of Favrille
to third parties, including Lymphoma Research Foundation, without the knowledge
and consent of Favrille's Board of Directors or Science Committee. After MMR
learned of the transfer, th e Company pursued LRF to regain control of the data
and tissue samples on behalf of its shareholders.
As part of the settlement agreement, the Lymphoma Research Foundation also
settled a complaint filed in Los Angeles Superior Court by The RHL Group, Inc.,
a creditor of MMRGlobal, against LRF and others involving the transfer of the
data, tissue samples and other assets which previously were the property of
Favrille. Although The RHL Group case against LRF is settled, the case against
the other named defendants is still active.
Over the last two years, MMRGlobal has been working to maximize the value of its
biotech assets by perfecting its worldwide patent portfolio, regaining control
of its anti-CD20 antibodies and FavId intellectual property including tissue
samples, and developing licensing opportunities for the data and materials for
use in Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, target validation and other therapeutic research.
As part of the settlement agreement, MMRGlobal shall cause the assets or
portions of them to be used in further medical research.

MMRF NEWS --
LOS ANGELES, CA, Nov 08, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- MMRGlobal, Inc.
(OTCBB: MMRF) (www.mmrglobal.com)
Dear Stockholder:
As we get close to reporting another quarter, I wanted to update you about the
progress we have made. By any standard, the Company's quarter over quarter
results remain impressive. For example, we have already exceeded 2009 total
sales through the third quarter of 2010. Third quarter revenues will be up more
than 30 percent over the second quarter, and revenues in that quarter alone were
nearly the same as revenues for the first six months. The quarter over quarter
outstanding share count has increased less than 3 percent.
In July of 2009, the stockholders authorized the issuance of 500 million shares,
which gave the Company a total of 650 million authorized shares. Through the end
of the second quarter, the Company had only issued seventy-two million
incremental shares, or less than 11% of the total authorized shares over a
period of a year. We take the value of our equity seriously and are preserving
it for liquidity, potential acquisitions and strategic alliances.
As a result of the sweeping Republican victory in the House, change s are likely
to take place in the implementation of healthcare reform. However, we believe
those changes will simplify a complex piece of legislation which will be good
for MMR and the multibillion dollar Health IT industry.
Notwithstanding the positive trends, we have our challenges. Time to market of
our products is still significant, and, despite our best efforts to provide
guidance, there are factors in the outside world that affect expectations. For
example, two years ago the Company announced an agreement with United Marketing
Group, a leader in affinity marketing. That program is now scheduled to launch
in March 2011.
Earlier his year, we announced the signing of an agreement with Chartis
International insurance. At that time, we could not have projected that Chartis
domestic would launch before the first Chartis International program slated for
next year. However, Chartis MyMedicalRecords is live
(www.chartisinsurance .com/mmr), and domestic has already generated revenue in
the third quarter. We are now planning on expanding the existing domestic
program in other parts of North America later this year.
International requires translation of the Company's websites in multiple
languages. MMR is constantly expanding its product featured on its websites. In
order to make that happen, translations must be deployed simultaneously and this
takes time. As a result, we are in the process of subcontracting a new software
system, which we call "Dynamic Language Support." This will enable the Company
to make changes in any language and propagate them globally. We believe this
will speed time to market with Chartis International and in other markets like
China or India where language is a factor.
We have a robust direct sales team in place selling MMRPro along with numerous
outside sales organizations, including Kodak Resellers, healthcare consultants
and healthcare equipment resellers.
With regard to MMRPro (www.mmrprovideos.com), the Company projected full
deployment on a nationwide basis during the third quarter. However, as a result
of the launch of MMRPro and feedback from what Kodak calls "voice of customer,"
Kodak is introducing a new Scan Station 550 to replace the Scan Station 520
which is part of MMRPro. The KODAK Scan Station 550 is planned to be released
late December 2010. This Kodak product release will help ensure that MMRPro's
scanning technology will include the best and most robust Kodak technology in
the market. MMRGlobal already has committed to purchase 200 Scan Station 550
systems that will not be deliverable until we can receive them from Kodak. With
an entry level price point of $21,600, the sale of those systems should result
in revenues of approximately $4 million in the first half of next year.
Telemarketing to physicians and other healthcare professionals is moving into
full swing at new telemarketing centers in Newport Beach and Long Island. E-mail
Frequency is gearing up for the holidays and next week we begin testing a new,
outbound telemarketing program to consumers for our MyMedicalRecords
(www.mmrvideos.com) and MyEsafeDepositBox (www.myesafevideos.com) products as a
family gift program for the holidays.
MMRGlobal is still demonstrating that "The Future of Your Health is At Work
Today." If you were to spend your days with a live feed watching all the
exciting things that I deal with on a day-to-day basis, it would be like having
50-yard line seats at a never ending Super Bowl. For example:
MMRGlobal's Travel and Benefits Sales Group and Rearden Commerce of San
Francisco are working with us to introduce MMRGlobal's personal health record
products and document management services to corporate clients, including
American Express OPEN, Travelocity, Orbitz, and other similar Re arden sales
partners.
We are in the process of moving our entire landline operation to Verizon and are
actively working at the highest levels of Verizon Business to explore other
strategic opportunities. MMR manages many tens of thousands of toll free and DID
telephone numbers on behalf of our users. We also maintain tens of thousands of
numbers in inventory at all times for immediate deployment of our products and
emergency services. This is in addition to the Company's recent efforts with
Verizon Wireless Group, a separate operating company. Next week, I will spend
time in San Diego with Qualcomm to explore convergent business opportunities.
Both Qualcomm and Verizon are the result of long-term business relations
developed over the years.
As we announced last week, Sunil Singhal has become a member of our technical
team. This is part of the Company's strategy to keep pace with the technology
standards of the Health IT Indus try and evolve our products to integrate with
any comprehensive EMR system. A great percentage of our product features are
meeting new HIPAA guidelines under HITECH and Meaningful Use criteria. By the
end of this year we will begin retaining a testing company to certify our
products to the extent possible.
We are continuing to pursue expansion of our product line through strategic
partnerships or acquisition. In China, later this month Unis-TongHe (as a
Chinese Company) will submit the UNIS/MMR Joint Venture bid for the right to
offer our products in Henan Province, whose population is nearly 100 million
people or one third of the population of the United States
(http://www.hngp.gov.cn/henan/cgxx/cggg/webinfo/2010/10/27/1287723681776878.htm).
The National Rifle Association (NRA) has renewed its affiliation with MMR for a
third year (www.nraesafe.com) and starting in Q1, MMR and the NRA will test new
direct marketing strategies t o increase member usage.
Notwithstanding the challenges in building a global leader in Personal Health
Records, your Company continues the process of making the future of healthcare
work for you as a stockholder. New visitors to our site learn about the
importance of having a Personal Health Record and other document management
solutions. Our strategic relationship with Associated Television International
helps assure visibility as a featured advertiser on the major television
networks and in nationwide syndicated programming such as viewed on ABC, CBS,
NBC, FOX, USA, The CW, Discovery, Hallmark and The Travel Channel.
Furthermore, there are a number of activities involving the Company's Biotech
patent portfolio which could start generating revenues from Biotech assets
within the next six months.
All in all, this is shaping up to be a record year for MMRGlobal. Thank you, as
always, to our stockholders, our executive and tec hnical teams, and our friends
around the world for the continued enthusiasm and dedication you demonstrate
every day.

NEWS --
POMPANO BEACH, Fla., Nov 03, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Cyclone Power Technologies
(Pink Sheets: CYPW) has received approval from PECO, the electric utility in
south eastern Pennsylvania, to complete installation of Cyclone's initial waste
heat power generator at the Hatboro, PA facility of its customer, Bent Glass
Design.
Cyclone's waste heat power generator -- comprised of its scalable Waste Heat
Engine (the WHE-25), proprietary heat exchangers and electric generating
equipment -- required approval from PECO to connect to the electric grid. When
operating, Cyclone's waste energy recovery system will convert over 500,000 BTUs
of exhaust heat from Bent Glass' furnaces into power that can off-set peak
electricity usage and corresponding demand charges at the facility.
"Approval from PECO is significant not only because it allows us to complete our
first waste heat recovery project, but also because it sets a precedent for how
other utilities around the country may view small-scale industrial waste heat
projects," stated Christopher Nelson, Managing Director of Cyclone's WHE
division. "Grid ty ing these scalable systems is a new concept for the utilities,
who we believe must view such projects as great opportunities to meet renewable
portfolio standards and expand their support of clean, alternative power
supplies, similar to wind and solar."
PECO will still need to review and test certain safety disconnect procedures in
the final system and install a new power meter at Bent Glass prior to going
live, which is expected to occur later this month, subject to the scheduling of
the utility.
CORPORATE PROFILE
Cyclone Power Technologies is the developer of the award-winning Cyclone Engine
-- an eco-friendly external combustion engine with the power and versatility to
run everything from portable electric generators and garden equipment to cars,
trucks and locomotives. Invented by company founder and CEO Harry Schoell, the
patented Cyclone Engine is a modern day steam engine, ingeniously designed to
achieve high therm al efficiencies through a compact heat-regenerative process,
and to run on virtually any fuel - including bio-diesels, syngas or solar -
while emitting fewer greenhouse gases and irritating pollutants into the air.
Currently in its late stages of development, the Cyclone Engine was recognized
by Popular Science Magazine as the Invention of the Year for 2008, and was
presented with the Society of Automotive Engineers' AEI Tech Award in 2006 and
2008. Additionally, Cyclone was recently named Environmental Business of the
Year by the Broward County Environmental Protection Department. For more

MMRF NEWS --
LOS ANGELES, CA, Oct 26, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- MMRGlobal, Inc.
(OTCBB: MMRF) (MMR) announced today it plans to offer U.S. Veterans the
opportunity to maintain all their medical records and personal hea lth
information directly in a MyMedicalRecords Personal Health Record (PHR) located
at www.MyBlueButton.org. The service will be provided at no cost for the first
year as a thank you for their service to our country. Each account will cover
the Veteran and up to nine additional family members to securely store personal
health information, medical records and medical images in addition to any
important document needed in an emergency.
On August 2, President Obama announced the "Blue Button" initiative
(http://www4.va.gov/bluebutton) that allows U.S. Veterans to download their
personal health information from their My HealtheVet account. On April 30, 2011,
at a special event at the Playboy Mansion honoring Veterans and Operation Mend
at the UCLA Health System Medical Center, MMRGlobal will launch its
www.MyBlueButton.org website linking to its MyMedicalRecords Personal Health
Record. The Company's PHR can store the full range of medic al records, from lab
reports and doctor's notes to immunizations and X-rays and other medical images,
and also includes multiple special "lockbox" folders with secondary passwords
for other important documents such as military discharge papers, gun permits,
passports, birth and marriage certificates, insurance policies and deeds of
trusts.
"We appreciate the sacrifices made for our safety and security by the brave men
and women of our armed forces," said Robert H. Lorsch, Chairman and CEO of
MMRGlobal. "Although no commercial enterprise can fully repay them, we want to
offer Vets the opportunity to use their 'Blue Button' to store their most
important records with the safety and security of our advanced patented
technologies on our www.MyBlueButton.org site. This way, Veterans can be assured
that their records can be shared in any emergency with doctors in or out of the
VA system from any Internet-connected computer anywhere in the world. At the
same time, our system ensures the highest level of privacy because users
maintain control over who has access to their records and the Company does not
use third party intermediaries to retrieve data. And unlike any other product of
its kind, users are protected by a one million dollar Cyber Liability policy
protecting their important information."
MMR's MyBlueButton.org program rides on the back of the government's "Blue
Button" initiative and branding and augments the Administration's national
calling for all Americans to have a Personal Health Record by 2014. Delivering
the most comprehensive PHR product in the marketplace today, the
MyMedicalRecords system is built on an integrated telecommunications platform
incorporating Internet, fax and phone to transmit and store personal health
information and other important data in one central secure online account with a
single sign-on. This provides for the ultimate flexi bility in communicating and
accessing information which the Company believes is necessary to accelerate
widespread adoption of Personal Health Records by 2014.
The MyMedicalRecords PHR also offers other valuable tools to help Vets and their
families have greater control over their health and better manage their lives
overall. In addition to its ease-of-use and availability in both English and
Spanish, the system includes a family health history, a drug database and drug
interaction tool that can automatically check for interactions between over
20,000 medications and also food allergies, and a reference center containing
information on 3,000 conditions and diseases. Importantly, there is a separate
Emergency Login that medical personnel and authorized users can access to
retrieve potentially life-saving information in a crisis situation; and each
account also comes with its own inbound and outbound e-fax capability which
further exp ands the options for quickly and easily sharing information.
According to Lorsch, "The service will be free for a year and then additional
years' subscriptions will be provided by our Company at prices well below the
cost of the personalized voice fax telecommunications services embedded in every
account. Our numbers show that 99 percent of all MyMedicalRecords users do not
cancel the service after the initial period. I also plan to work through the
Robert H. Lorsch Foundation Trust to identify non-profits that can underwrite
services for Veterans and their families in subsequent years."

MMRF NEWS --
NEW ORLEANS, LA, Oct 25, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- MMRGlobal, Inc.
(OTCBB: MMRF) (www.mmrglobal.com) today announced plans with Kodak to deploy a
new version of the MMR Pro system (www.mmrprovideos.com) operating through a
proprietary customized interface on the new KODAK Scan Station Pro 550 at Booth
1709 at the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) Annual Conference.
MMRPro (www.mmrpro.com) is supported by Kodak's transactional scanning
solution(s) to help physician offices and other small practices get a firm
handle on converting patient billing, forms and medical charts into digital,
easily managed and accessed files. The new KODAK Scan Station Pro 550
incorporates the power of KODAK Capture Pro Software to enhance direct
connection to MMRPro Software, MMRGlobal's secure, web-based document management
and imaging solution. This enables easy capture and access to paper-based
patient documents and charts with the utmost security -- extremely important to
healthcare professionals and their patients.
"The MMRPro software solution directly addresses the document imaging and
management needs of small medical offices, group practices, surgery centers and
small hospitals that rely heavily on using transactions-based processes and
forms, including patient billing, prescription data, and medical charts," said
Robert H. Lorsch, Chairman and CEO of MMRGlobal. "Using MMRPro today makes it
easier for physicians to ultimately transition to a full-blown certified EMR
system. This helps doctors qualify for stimulus dollars from the government and,
additionally, from MMR's proprietary stimulus program which can reward
physicians with payments that could be far in excess of the government's
stimulus program."
MMRPro also includes an e-prescribing module and an integrated patient portal,
enabling patients to have timely access to their personal health information
through MyMedicalRecords' secure personal health records technology
(www.mymedicalrecords.com). Patients can quickly and conveniently upload their
health information to an MMR account in real time using any Internet-connected
device.
"Meaningful use of electronic health records requires doctors to make personal
health information available to their patients through a personal health record
or patient portal by 2014. We believe that our patented product offering will
exceed HIPAA requirements and is more user-friendly than any other PHR available
today," added Lorsch.
The transactional KODAK Scan Station Pro 550 features a customized solution
using the capture and output capabilities found in KODAK Capture Pro Software,
including barcodes, OCR, MICR and others. The new scanner incorporates an
intuitive GUI touch panel allowing users to work seamlessly with the MMRPro
Software, enabling the user to scan patient-related healthcare documents
directly into MMRPro with the push of a single button. The MMRPro Software also
allows updates for patient files via fax, e-mail or telephone messages, through
se cure, staff-based permissions.
"The solution with MMR is an example of how Kodak works with its network of
Independent Software Vendor partners to create strategic, specific applications
that do more at the point of capture," said Brian Bagan, Director, Business
Development, Document Imaging, United States and Canada, Kodak's Business
Solutions and Services Group. "Medical offices and other industries can use
transactional scanning solutions to help automate their internal business
processes, as well as improve the information sharing practices across offices."
KODAK Products are backed by KODAK Service and Support, which is made up of more
than 3,000 professionals reaching more than 120 countries. It is a leading
multi-vendor integrated services provider, delivering consulting, installation,
maintenance and support services for the commercial printing, graphic
communications, document imaging, data storage, and retail industries. KODAK
Service and Support professionals are uniquely qualified to provide services
that control costs, maximize productivity, and minimize business risk.
