If you are the owner of a publicly-traded company, you are certainly interested in adding volume and increasing the price of your company’s stock. Your problem is that it is almost impossible your small but growing company to attract the attention of the investment world. Research analysts do not follow your company because you are too small.

Fax and e- mail broadcasting

Stock Promotion firms charge cash, stock or a combination of both. Stock promotion firms cannot be compensated with S-8 free trading stock. Stock promotion firms are required to disclose the amount of your stock they own and the compensation they receive when promoting your company’s stock under SEC Rules.

You should due your due diligence on any stock promotion firm you are considering hiring. Ask for and investigate their track records and references.

In the end, however, there is only one sure way to add volume and increase the price of your company’s stock:
FOCUS ON EXECUTING YOUR BUSINESS PLAN.
FOCUS ON INCREASING YOUR REVENUES AND PROFITS.

If you lose site of these principals, no amount of stock promotion will, in the long run, improve the trading price and volume of your company’s stock.

Agreed that without getting off the PINKS and getting a respectable stock price, why would a rationale person burn time, money and energy doing a 'roadshow' NOW??? - So 1 out of 100 people would invest with no real stock impact but the business is now weakened as well??? Wouldn't it better to wait till the company is more mature and more presentable to investors? Probably VirTra has its hands full just running the business right now. Consider all the things we don't want management to talk about to preserve advantages in the market, wouldn't it leave them to do pointless 'shareholder letters' or generic conference calls. Their website clearly lists their plans and direction, the challenge is for them to fulfill those goals and they need to laser focus on grabbing profitable market share when and while they can.

Do IR communications build value? I don't need VirTra management to give me a peep talk or write me long emails asking me to buy more shares. They are an emerging company within their market and they SHOULD focus on grabbing market share. They do need to build sales regardless of what some people are saying.

I've reviewed more information on VirTra than I care to admit and some comments posted here have no evidence in fact, contradict the facts or just don't make common sense.

Talk is cheap and VirTra doesn't seem to waste time trying to coax someone to buy $500 worth of stock- well good for them! Build a company that justifies someone to buy $1,000 or more of its stock.

Unlike some here, I'd be upset if they focused on IR communication instead of focusing on more sales - I guess they can't please everyone. If you send VirTra an email asking questions to get an informational advantage over the rest of us in the market, you shouldn't get any information. Also, VirTra shouldn't telegraph their plans to their competitors in the name of 'good IR communication'. The professional investors I know are far more interested in track record of results then they care about IR communication. However, a penny stock just by the nature of being a penny stock (having too many shares outstanding) is off limits too many investors, which brings us to the fact VirTra actually made a recent attempt to correct this problem with the proxy.

As part of my due diligence, I asked a SEC lawyer to review the proxy and he said that much of the proxy was trying to change the bylaws to have reasonable proxy requirements for a company the size of VirTra, and it is actually what he would have recommended if VirTra was his client. Ironically, the exact problem the proxy would have fixed ended up presented itself in the proxy vote, large numbers of shareholders did not even vote - but those who felt strongly enough to vote, actually voted FOR the proxy BEYOND A MAJORITY (but due to bylaws that don't match the size and composition of VirTra shareholders; democratic rule failed: despite a vast majority of voted shares, it still didn't pass).

At the end of the day you must answer: Are the best days of VirTra ahead of it or not? To me, that's easy.

I totally agree - at least for now. If they keep building the company they will someday have the money to do a buy-back (if it makes sense to buy back - such as the P/E is under 15, or otherwise undervalued). Hopefully, they aren't irrationally positive about their stock, thinking it is always undervalued no matter what the price to earnings ratio suggests.

Worse case would be if they shift focus from building a profitable business and start promoting the stock for short-term spikes (which bring them short-term praise but always correct downward). If they don't focus on generating net income, then a buy-back (which can have a lasting positive effect) is not in the cards. Growing a profit business is no easy task at all, not something that happens on autopilot during current economy as 85% or more of businesses in America can easily attest.
