ETrade updated my shares to TSNPD
I used the chat function and had to wait nearly an hour and a half.
I just chatted with an ETrade rep. SUpposedly the ticker will change, most likely in the next couple of days and we'll be able to trade again.
And to think I held 242M shares in this thing...LOLOLOLOL!
Back in 2014, it got hyped as merging with a marijuana company and the stock soared to $.002. I had bought a ton of shares be that and a majority of my holds for quite awhile. Down to just 18M+ right now...
AT one point I owned 241M shares and had to file a form 13. Now down to only 18M shares. Love seeing the price do what it's been doing the last couple of days!!
Speculation is useless at this point in time. If Bud does file for bankruptcy it will be know. If there's no word about it then he hasn't. This has always been a stock that one had to have a long term outlook with. I've been with it for nearly 5 years now and still own well north of 100M shares. At some point in time it MAY become profitable and worth more than it is now (or it ma not); only time will tell.
I don't believe it was ever promised but was based upon the company's financial status with the intent to buy back up to $100K worth of stock.
I guess I just didn't see it because I use eTrade.
I'm still confused since $TSNP has never been "chilled" in the 4+ years I have owned the stock.
What "DTC chill" are you talking about? $TSNP was never chilled during te period of that run.
Absolutley...I made a LOT of money when it made that run...
You may well be incorrect. The buyback would only affect the float if the shares were returned to the treasury. If held in a brokerage account then they would not impact the float. Not sure how that would be reported or even if it has to be.
You take a company public to raise funding - it's just that simple. Once the shares are sold, then it's a secondary market and it's shares traded by people typically not involved with running the company except for well regulated circumstances. Any CEO who has compassion for shareholders is just that - having compassion. His (or her) fiduciary responsibility is to the company with shareholders coming in second (or even further down). Consider that shareholders rarely get anything when companies go bankrupt. It's because they fall behind every creditor.
We have a CEO who is focused on running the company and who is notoriously tight-lipped about things happening for the simple fact he doesn't want to get accused of shenanigans like most sub-penny stock CEO do. When has something to announce, he does, and through the appropriate channels. He also doesn't waste money by paying for the PRs to be broadcast.
If you had done your due diligence then you would have known all this because it's all be said here on the board before. This is a buy it and forget it stock - just that simple - don't put money in it you can;t afford to lose - and SOMEDAY, you might get rewarded for being patient...
My original cost basis before I sold anything was close to .0002 because of brokerage fees. I actually misstated my cost basis because it's now actually a negative number (meaning every share I sell at whatever price is pure profit). With patience, I took a $20K investment, made over the course of nearly three years, and made a $34K profit. Again, the biggest component was patience.
You have to look at this as a long play. I first got into the stock in March of 2011 and at one point owned more than 5% of the outstanding. I'd put a $100 or so a week sometimes more sometimes less and just accumulate. When the false MJ rumor came out I was able to make a tidy profit and I still own over 100M shares and am waiting for the next run. After all of my transactions, my cost per share is now down to 0.000084.
The company is small and the CEO doesn't believe in posting "hype PRs"; he believes in running his company. There are naysayers here, as there are with any stock. You shouldn't have expected to flip this stock; due diligence would have led you to know its nature.
Be patient, consider the money lost, and when the next run occurs take your profit or let it ride for potentially even greater return.
While I haven't done so yet, I'm considering starting to accumulate again to get back to the 5% level.
Because getting things posted on ihub news most likely costs (or, more likely, ihub news gets feeds from services that charge the companies). The CEO has a history of not paying for news releases.
This has been the Bud we've known as CEO for at least the last four years (since I've owned the stock). His focus is on running the business not hyping the stock.
It's not Bud's job to care about his shareholders. It's Bud's job to run his business in a profitable manner and to grow value. "Taking care of shareholders" is a by product of his success at the other two.
I have a continuing dialog with Bud but he will not give out anything via email or over the phone. He's VERY conscious of trouble that can result from "insider information" and, ethically, doesn't provide anything that could be construed as such.
$TSNP
fingers, I don't disagree with you but, why would you ever think $TSNP would have been getting into the MJ business? Their lighting will be used by the buyer for whatever the buyer wants to use it for. Given that MJ is not currently legal in CT and that Bud's wife is a politician there, I wouldn't expect them to boldly proclaim "Use Our LEDs to Grow Your Illegal Drugs!" Those of us who have been around here (including you) know Bud so there should have been no expectation that the company would be "using the LED lighting for MJ."
I know the Authorized and Outstanding and, as I stated in other posts, have owned as much as 5+% of the Outstanding.
Good analysis without promoting anything "sinister" in the results.
What makes you think the company is manipulating the share price? Normally 100 share purchases of micro-caps are generally thought to be signals from market makers, not the company. Why would you think otherwise and what kind of back-up information can you provide?
I agree.
That's the way we always see it. People post about "dilution" and "dumping" and then say the proof is "right here or right there." Post your proof so everybody can see it. BTW the 504 references won't cut it because that's old news.
Then provide a link...
Hey apdragon, don't you know that all these folks are just looking out for us other poor investors.....
The company didn't dump 4.5 billion shares and you can't have any prrof that they did. That's simply speculation on your part.
Probably won't make a difference since, depending on how it's done, it's perfectly legal.
I started buying shares of this stock nearly three years ago and slowly accumulated over 5% of the outstanding shares. With this run, I'm now profitable and still own a ton of shares. I only say this to point out a couple of things:
- Never put money in a sub-penny stock that you wouldn't play on a blackjack hand and always expect the blackjack hand to have better odds. A hundred bucks every other week allowed to to get a nice number of shares. For some folks that might be $50 a week or it might be a grand a week.
- Patience is definitely a virtue. Another stock I owned also was a MJ play and it has taken a run over the last three weeks. I was in it for over three years but got out with a nice 110% profit.
The only similarity between these two stock were the share prices when I started buying and the timing of when I started the purchases. Now, both have made me cash. I hope this one does the same for all of you.
I will tell you, despite this run, I consider $TSNP to be a long term play regardless of where the stock price is next week. I've had dialogue for nearly a year now with the CEO. He's a tight-lipped son of a gun and doesn't share anything with one that he doesn't share with all. No one will ever be able to call him a pumper and dumper. I do believe he's looking for long term growth and for those with strong hands it will be more profitable than it has been.
Can I find out who is following me on iHub? I've searched a number of different ways and can't fins anything related to this.
Thanks!
Watch for some consolidation and profit taking tomorrow. May see some increases Friday or, more than likely, early next week.
The best thing about this stock is the apparent integrity of the CEO. Other micro-caps are plagued by CEOs that, rightly or wrongly, get pegged as scammers or have "dilution" thrown around every time there's a significant volume. Bud has been VERY careful as to what he releases and when he releases it. And, in the long run, I think that will make a difference in this stock's value.
I be LOVIN' me some of this!!! LOL
From the Associated Press.....
It's not the act of the reverse split that hits the stock's value, it's the market sentiment that follows the split. A reverse split is simply mechanical exchanging 4 quarters for 10 dimes. The stocks value at the moment of the split remains the same.
It's the market forces that cause that value to change post split. Neither a gain or loss of value is automatic. If the market is cautious or disbelieving, the value goes down. If the market is optimistic then the value goes up. It's market forces that determine what happens - NOT the split itself.
I've already covered my initial investment and am playing with free money now. Let the fun begin!!! $PRPM
