Anyone know if thing is dead enough to bury, according to TDA? Somebody is still buying and selling it. We look like a ghost town now.
Loyal
Ding-a-ling-a-ling. Is anybody home? I know this ain't exactly a hot potato, but . . . .
Well, just wondering.
Loyal
Based on everything I've picked up, only TDA is going to blacklist the stock, and it is only one of hundreds on TDA's poop list. As far as I know, other brokers will still allow it to be traded.
If anyone has more up to date info, pass it along. I'm listening.
I still can't believe the SEC would tolerate this kind of market discrimination from any broker, as doing so violates all standards of trade. Shorting a stock is one thing, and I despise that tactic also, but it is what it is. On the other hand, preventing a stock from being traded as long as it's licensed seems criminal to me. Perhaps a few lawyers can duke it out at their own expense.
What really irritates me is that I held onto this thing in my dead letter box for over five years, because it went grey and because it would have cost me more money to unload it than it was worth. Then it suddenly awoke from its comatose state. But suddenly, now this.
Loyal
Okay, bro. If you say so. I'm still in, but I'm not waving any pompoms.
And does anyone know if there is any more added brick and mortar to that Cathedral City plaza that was slated to open a couple years ago? Or is it still a construction site with shovels and wheelbarrows sitting idly by?
Loyal
This memorandum decree by TDA apparently includes upwards to 3,000 stocks, and is obviously designed to grind struggling and fledgling companies into the dirt.
My first thought was that there ought to be laws against this. But then I realized there are laws on the books to prevent such brokerage behavior. They're just not being enforced by a toothless SEC tiger.
Not being an attorney, I couldn't elaborate with legalese on the matter. But one wonders how much of the OTC is slated for purging in this power grab.
Loyal
Bolando,
Say it ain't so, bro. Say it ain't so. Tell me you didn't really assign this tub to an all-star team.
Rat Fink, help this guy out. I'm still in and holding, but this is being delusional.
Loyal
Re #51625:
Every time Haas ever opened his mouth and spouted the latest pot of gold just over the next rainbow, the stock always took a dive. I've watched it happen time and again over the years.
As for this Cathedral City grand opening, it's the third time he's fed us a trailer to this movie. Thing is, nothing ever happens. Delay, delay, and another delay. One excuse after another. Then he goes silent for months.
I've never been into Hollywood reruns, and until I see otherwise, this looks like yet another one.
Loyal
Looks like everyone here got spooked by a heavy-handed brokerage firm.
It's a pretty underhanded way to short a stock, if ya ask me. Even though nobody will.
Loyal
In my two decades of investing I cannot ever recall a brokerage firm pulling a stunt like this. They're supposed to be there to process trades, not manipulate a stock with the intent of driving it into oblivion. A viable SEC would investigate such firm and likely file charges of racketeering. But that's not today's SEC.
Let freedom ring!!
Loyal
Almost a year ago to the day, as I recall. Yep, a 1:1,000. June 1, 2020.
So it's worth less now than it was then.
Loyalhound
Muncher,
Everyone here wants to believe. That said, Henry Ford stated it best:
"You cannot build a reputation based on what you are going to do."
Loyal
A bit peculiar. The stock fell off the table in 30 minutes and stabilized the rest of the day. Wonder if maybe an mm scare tactic ran out of steam. Just sayin'.
Loyal
Terra, me too. But I fell asleep at the wheel back then, and by the time I woke up we were in a ravine. Not this time.
Loyal
Oh, Rat, come on now. There ya go dreamin' again. This ain't quite the old days when James snookered us with all those empty promises. Sure, I could handle a buck or so, but . . . .
Then again, my finger ain't on the trigger just yet, either.
Loyal
Where's that dadgum Robinhood bunch when we need them?
Loyal
jjh,
Mmmm, . . . not quite. But it is nice to reminisce. They sure gave us quite a rush.
Loyal
Nice little recovery there at the end of the year. With a change in management we turned an absolute disaster into a mere shambles. Are things looking up?
Loyal
In memory of the late sportscaster Jack Buck, . . . .
"I don't believe what I just saw."
Loyal
winners,
AmEx? At double aughts? Really? At that point I'll be ready to lay down and die. There'll be nothing left in life to look forward to, . . . . because I will have seen it all.
Loyal
Smilin',
I've neither heard nor discovered if Greg Evans is still in charge of this barge. He had advertised himself years ago as the world's greatest hacker who had gone straight and started his own company. But the only thing he ever hacked into was our trust.
The boat had been dry docked for over five years, and I only kept it as a kind of heirloom. I would pull it out of the closet and look at it as a reminder of how not to invest in a stock.
But here it is today. I don't know if it's been in a prolonged coma, or if someone found it in a morgue with a toe tag on it and is trying to raise it from the dead. So, like most everyone else, I'm just watching to see what the mm's are gonna do with it.
As for a reverse merger, I don't know if LGTT even has anyone working a phone much less any semblance of a board of directors. If anybody has any info on this tub, I'm listening.
Loyal
Smilin,
Cybersecurity. Greg Evans was his name. A real shyster, all hat and no cow. Don't know who's at the helm now, maybe someone with an interest in making something out of nothing by buying it at a fire sale price.
Loyal
Yours truly. 2011 actually.
Loyal
Hi, Rat. Saw you arrived back in a while back. Good to see ya again. I been layin' low.
Loyal
After eight years of being completely dormant, this beehive is really buzzing. Nobody's gettin' anywhere, but the insider worker bees sure are flyin' all over the place. Typical sub-penny wanna be pollinating act. Kinda fun to watch, actually. Often wonder what happened to Evans.
Loyalhound
What's with all the hype? This movie has been on reruns for the past five years. MJ balloons in general have been blown up and popped for the past three years, and we don't know what Congress is going to do. Once they get out of their committees and call their brokers to either buy or unload, then we'll get the news after their brokers already have them positioned. Till then we sit and spin like GRNH has been doing since 2015.
This may be just another p&d with the keyword being "merger." So, till I see black on the bottom line, I'm sittin' here with my chin on my fist. Enjoy the arousal, y'all. Just don't get deflated if it doesn't lead to a climax.
Loyalhound
vin,
I hear ya. This thing doesn't even vary enough to nickel and dime my way out. I only intended to date this stock and not marry her. Now she's got me balls to the wall. At least things are better elsewhere.
Hope you're doin' all right.
Loyal
getmore,
Missed your private post. Naw, I'm still junk. Ran out of investment money temporarily. Waiting for a pop somewhere so I can reinvent myself. Looks like some good crops out there, but I didn't have seed for them, so I sat around and had a pity party for myself. But I'm all right. My blunders are my own dumb fault.
Really glad you're doing well. I like to see people beat the house.
Loyal
getmore,
Haven't seen you in a long time, bro. Bought this over five years ago, and it's been collecting dust in the attic ever since. My search has turned up no reason for this splurge. I tend to think someone got together with the Ruskies to promote a classic p & d. No product, no service, no nothin'.
Loyal
With news or without news, we're a ship with no rudder subject to the tides and currents until we see some black numbers at the bottom of the balance sheets.
Loyal
I see no rhyme or reason for this. Looks like a p&d ruse. Shouldn't take long to find out.
Loyal
Most mj stocks have been seesawing, but this boat doesn't even do that anymore. Hasn't for a couple years. Even mm's don't feel like putting air in the ball anymore, and with debts mounting it's hard to believe it hasn't gone blooey by now.
Loyal
On the top line next to the stock. It mysteriously went pink last week when we suddenly saw action above .0001. Years ago when it dropped below .0001 and stayed there, it was reduced to grey status, which only meant my broker wouldn't let me touch it. Now it's back to 1 plus 5 zeroes again, so someone is playing games here. I glance at the top of the page that lists its market location daily just to see.
Loyal
- - - What I'm trying to find out is whether Greg Evans is still in the picture. It tanked when he was in charge.
177 shares. Back to grey again? What's Evans up to this time?
Loyal
Is Greg Evans still affiliated with this thing? Haven't read anything one way or the other.
Loyal
The current charts would (short term) make this tub look promising to an unsuspecting viewer who likes to chart [psst --- like I used to do with this one]. Precisely why charting this stock at present is a sucker's game. As I've said too many times, I don't want to read news. I'm not from Missouri, but you gotta "show me" some black on the bottom line at this point. Nothing else will do.
Loyal
mind1, . . . You're forgetting something. Late or very late are both still on time as far as James is concerned. Been that way for ten years or more.
Loyal
Thing is, I don't see any rhyme or reason behind a rally. Can't be the big fish bailing on the bigger boards to feed here.
Unless they know something we don't.
Loyal
The old axion, 'No news is good news' certainly does not apply here.
Haas ought to say something, even if it's only "Good-bye."
These charts look worse than dreadful.
Loyal
Groundbreaking was slated for March 1, but on Feb. 2, Ground Hog Day, Punxatawny Phil was contacted, and he said to postpone the groundbreaking for a few months. He was in a crappy mood and so was Haas. So, everything is on hold TFN. Hope this helps.
By the way, a couple weeks ago I offered my GreenGro stocks to Dianne Feintein and a few other senators; they all said thanks but no thanks.
Can't figure out why. After all, GRNH is such a hot ticket right now.
Loyal
- - - - Amid the disgust, sometimes ya gotta laugh at it all.
My question is: With this thing headed for levels not seen for 8 or 9 years and the money flow being what it is, who in the world is buying this boat? Unless it's the mm's doing their yo-yo thing, I can't see how anyone could make any money even short term. Nor would I blame any investor for bailing altogether and taking his or her lumps.
