yes its putting some percentage on possible discounted cash flow
i hope you are correct! my 2 cents ICE is pleiotropic beyond reduce it and may be the best adjunctive therapy around for lots of maladies .. i doubt its going to be a game changer for alzheimer but may be a piece of the puzzle? after 13 years of being long this stock i'm resigned to the fact this is the best drug and worst stock combo in my 35 year history of biotech investing
yeah i sold 20k the other day not because i thought it was going much lower just had another opportunity for the money. i've been long since 09 so i've been wealthy, anxious, determined, clairvoyant, pissed, homicidal and again hopeful ... i should throw in there stubborn.. its so cheap now if someone wanted to load up and get out at 3 that's an easy double without too much risk imo
zip, why on earth wasn't this done when the drama started with Du.... makes you wonder if they already knew the answer and it was favorable? or just complete incompetence or somewhere inbetween ... but never any communication surrounding it ... we on this board have been talking about a combo pill for years and we figured the pill burden was non starter? but sure enough now its in the works .. who the hell is running this circus?
abstained ... let's go Denner and or KM
71,000
i would imagine when they see quite a few abstains which would be a change from the past annuals they will get the message that Denner/Sarrisa has a following beyond their own respective shares. I would think the strategy would be to partner with a big name in the cardio space in EU and then buy time to get the combo drug on the market say in 5 years ... i don't see this as a genius move but a proven strategy that has benefitted many no name pharma's to gain traction in the cvd space. milking the free shares atm with no substantial increase in shareholder value needs to stop. I called the 203 number and spoke to a gal that took my phone # and number of shares owned.
skipper, when i was pounding the table to fam and friends because of reduce it i threw in the caveat that the head of legal seemed to be selling shares throughout his career at amrn ... for me i looked at it as a red flag .. it didn't stop me from buying in the teens.. i get taking some off the table but he seemed to unload his bucket frequently
just left that area not before i had a big perch dinner! enjoy
i got hit hard in 2013 with amrn then doubled down to then again get blasted in 2019... so i'm that crazy arse investor who now understands that the mgmt, FDA, SEC, courts, etc aren't going out of their way to aid me in this investment so i've tripled down owning more now than at any other time ... so after investing x amount since 09 i will 'break even' at $9 pps .. of course break even is being generous since that initial 250k years ago and what the market has done in the last 10+ years. I have been on Vascepa off label for years and love what it has done for my A1C and lipid panel
JT used to use the word 'differentiates' itself when discussing Vascepa but nobody knows this i mean nobody
all my bio's were up similar % today but we can hope :)
and it seemed like Kennedy was selling continually during his career i'm not talking about the tax offset selling it was like he was indifferent about the company? i've owned since 09' you could make a documentary out of what is wrong with the FDA, SEC and certain Federal circuit courts. hopefully we gain a measure of justice this week... God bless
this is from declan on twits not sure if its been discussed
I am very surprised at the muted response, thus far, from investors and especially Amarin on the very positive development that CVS has added Vascepa exclusively to their formulary for 2022 at the expense of generics effective 1/1/22. Maybe Denner saw this coming or even had a hand to play here. This essentially renders generics obsolete and obviates any thinking Amarin needs to come up with their own generic equivalent. We don't know all the details on why this occured, but CVS says it's cost of brand Vascepa is comparable or less than generics. Did Amarin lower cost in US? If so, good move to squeeze out generics as legal issues unfold. Not a fan of JT, but he often said Vascepa is a volume play, not margins.
This ramps up volume and should see it reflected in scripts over next month or two.
thanks for the update on HLS! a shame the CC's weren't inverted because an analyst could have held managements feet to the fire yesterday on how that is possible in a more difficult covid restricted sales environment. the takeaway though is this is very doable in Europe with the right folk
Still using Framingham
I've been taking 4 g's of vascepa daily now for a few years. Started feeling a bad head cold coming on with some slight chest congestion. Thinking i might have covid, i started taking 8'g daily yesterday i lost taste and smell got a rapid test and came back positive. I had both pfizer shots .. today i went on a long bike ride still have some post nasal stuff but otherwise feel pretty good.
just buying the dips but still hanging around for the euro market to increase revs and by default the rise in PPS
My take on reps is covid has ushered in a new paradigm of connectivity to a doc office hence less boots on the ground
I have my doc write DAW on my hard copy...dispense as written
and you .....'s :)
and you .....'s :)
BobWayne, you described so many of us looooong timers 09' for me. I too believe Vascepa is worth billions and i have pounded the table to family and friends to swallow it and invest in it .... boy have i learned to keep investment advice to myself because of what has happened is out of some conspiracy novel and i loathe conspiracy stuff but hey if the show fits ... Kennedy was selling up until they day he departed to me that says the Du decision was a distinct possibility
MN, completely agree with your assessment .... damn we have been through the ringer and it is almost laughable that great clinical outcomes actually diminish the value of Amarin
A PFE rep has only so much time in front of a doc. The position of a drug or product in their 'bag' is key. So PFE can be co promoting a drug or product but not necessarily pounding the table for it due to a lower position on their list of priorities. The beautiful thing about PFE is a doc is more likely to see PFE rep versus a rep they have no history with nor familiar with their products. I sense a lot of folk on our board think that a co promote means 10 minutes with a doc educating them on vascepa i think that is unlikely in most instances... a brochure on reduce it and a bunch of samples is more likely
from a cardio thoracic surgeon acquaintance of mine ... everyone who receives CABG from me leaves the hospital with a Vascepa script
seems to me all this would mostly go away if the docs were rewarded for practicing evidence based medicine .. much like they are rewarded for HEDIS and PQRS quality care systems... we have millions taking medicines shown to have no clinical benefit.. so if you are prescribing fenofibrates or niacin for trig's maybe that prescriber is further scrutinized?
Christmas in July! couldn't help myself picked up 1500 more shares this a.m. ... this is trading like we are waiting on reduce it results
This is the type of info your primary gets delivered digitally most every day

My primary in Phoenix regularly sees rep...hands out samples
kaku, i've been on max dose for 5 years off label .. my lipid panel is suberb my A1C is down in the high 5's from mid 6's... my weight is easier to maintain .. my joint pain is better.. that's a clinical trial of 1 .. i would pay 400 a month to continue taking this daily for the rest of my life
i have one response to share price; buy more i just added .. thank you mr. market
i went to fry's to get my prescription two days ago it went from 9 bucks with uhc and vascepa coupon to 200 bucks .. might be new deductible on my different uhc plan that started this month? anyways the pharmacy tech assumed i wouldn't pay the 200 bucks .. i've had md's in the past not want to prescribe vascepa to me because they thought i would be out of pocket too much ... i pay 1800 bucks a month for my family insurance as i own a company and that part of our system sucks ... but docs take this mindset if it isn't 9 bucks people won't pay for it .. yet these same people spend 150 a month for cable a month and buy 3k dollar tv sets ... more education about CVE reduction the patient will make the right choice
Exactly DAW will solve problem but not without mass patient and prescriber education
downwreck, well said .. the other piece imo is to hire a team to navigate the insurance companies getting V more affordable...also create doubt in prescribers mind that the encapsulation method is worth the difference .. i was able to do that a couple of weeks ago with my PCP .. on the script is written DAW.. prescribing habits are difficult to change as we see every friday with scripts of the various omega 3's
what's the solution? by more shares and that's what i did this morning. A year from now the SP will NOT be at 4.5
Did the russell rebalance today?
boy that would be timely i show august but why not tomorrow? let's go!
I thought it was common knowledge DHA benefited the brain in some manner. EPA quite obviously the cardio vascular system.
