It's encouraging to see you, Doc, fighting a good fight, but I think those bloodsuckers are too comfortable to lose their nests. ABTL is a continuous story of "nothingness". Same ol' every quarter. Same reasons. The only hope - buyout - can happen today or in 10, 20, 30 years from now or... never. Meanwhile, money locked up in ABTL is dead money IMO.

It's not even blind optimism. It's something even more scary at this point. Not sure if a doctor can help :)

I still follow ABTL closely. It's like ex g/f situation, when you still curious about whom she dates after you. I may jump back in, but only after I see real improvements. Few pennies a quarter won't do it.

There you go. That what I was afraid of after putrid financials. I posted before that if Coats delivered our PT would have probably been increased. But since Coats did absolutely nothing - PT decrease was a writing on the wall.

I'm out, gang. I hate to do it, but I can no longer be a silent lamb. 2 years of nothing. Enough is enough. Now Coats can do what he's best at - making money for himself and his directors leaving shareholders' bare bone, but this time without me sponsoring his enterprise. To say I was dissapointed with the rusults is to say nothing. I was ashamed! 4 pennies? Ok, I would have still waited if Coats owned at least more shares than I had. But, why would he? He's doing great with his salary and bonuses. He should, probably, award himself with another stock options.

All in all IMO ABTL has only ONE chance of making it up for shareholders - buyout. Managment is content with making money for themselves and nothing for shareholders. I just don't see any potential here besides buyout or, maybe, managment change. With this group it's just the same story every quarter, every year.

I don't see any individual investor to shell out ~$250,000 on ABTL. Probably was an institutional buy.

I don't know about $7.50, but hopefully we see $5 soon and go from there. $6 is a concensus PT, but if Coats reports nice financials, I'm almost certain there will be upward adjustment of PT by analysts.

Agree. My biggest beef with Coats is that he's complacent with the way things going (almost stagnant) and that he doesn't even bother to aquire few thousand shares to at least show some faith in the company run by himself. So either he's happy with his salary and could care less about company or he doesn't see potential in bying ABTL.

Like I said, if ABTL doesn't show any progress during the year - I'm out.

Waiting till the very end to buy on a sell of, but sell volume was non-exsistant. Placed an order for 4.6K @ 3.89 only 400 shares got filled. Here is to a much better 2013 year! Happy New Year!

I don't understand this stock. One day it closes in 3.80s next day it goes up to 4.02... And all of this without meaningful volume. I just can't pull the trigger with trading like that. Even if I wanted to get in 3.80s there is just not enough volume to fill my order. I'm perplexed...

The purpose of any business it to make profit and to either re-invest to make more profit or to distribute profits to shareholders. ABTL makes profit, so they have to do something with all that growing millions on the balance sheet. And it's either re-investment - buying another lead company to increase sales, or dividend - distribution of profits to shareholders. The problem is Coats owns less of the company than I do, so why would he even bother with dividend when he can "milk a cow" through enormous salaries. Dead end so far.

IMO one big shareholder (institution) has to step in and say enough is enough and if Coats can't make it move he must go.
