SSTP (.06) USSE (.056) U.S. Sustainable Energy Corp. Obtains Endorsement Letter From Mississippi Senator Bob Dearing
Friday, July 13 2007 11:57 AM, EST Market Wire "US Press Releases "
NATCHEZ, MS -- (MARKETWIRE) -- 07/13/07 -- U.S. Sustainable Energy Corp. (PINKSHEETS: USSE) and Sustainable Power Corp. (PINKSHEETS: SSTP) are pleased to jointly announce the receipt of an endorsement letter from Mississippi Senator Bob Dearing in support of his visit to the Natchez Facility.
Mr. Bob Dearing has been in a legislative position since 1980. He is currently Chairman of the Oil, Gas & Other Minerals committee and has authorized over 20 million dollars in funding for the state of Mississippi .
SSTP is Sustainable Power Corp not energy corp
SSTP (.06) USSE (.056) U.S. Sustainable Energy Corp. Obtains Endorsement Letter From Mississippi Senator Bob Dearing
PS: wonder what the Senator would have to say about that today????
yep, it seems he was......
I guess the Senator is another buffoon to add to the list of people who can't tell if they are being scammed right in front of their face......
Fooling certain people is very easy...the problem is that they are usually the most ardent supporters and build on the lies with variations of their own. When the inevitable truth is revealed, those people move on to similar types of technology scams, hoping that people won't remind them of their role in scams like USSE.
fooling people is this easy???), l
However the internet is a great thing because past scams are documented. Past claims are documented.
yes, it is hard to make up a story like this.....honest John Rivera, unjustly called a member of the "liar's club", secret catalyst of hazy origin (WTF, who falls for that crap???....come on, WHO???...fooling people is this easy???), lawnmowers and ATVs running on all kinds of the juice, AmSpec "third party" VERIFICATION, permit limbo, promoters and teeshirts, an MIT honorary PhD for JR and Nobel prize nomination (!!!), with a cult following for the brilliant underdog, etc, etc, etc......
thank goodness the lesson has been learned!!!!!
It's amazing how many lies he could string together. He should have moved to Hollywood and written movie scripts.
Rivera has to be one of the biggest scumbags I've ever come across
All I'm providing here is what John Rivera just told me himself...because I just got off the phone with him...believe it, don't believe it...Up to you...
WOW, an oldie, but goodie.....it even has tugboats!!!!
1) The Biocentric deal is the result of 7 months of negotiations
and testing...This is a 70(USSE/SSTP)/30(Biocentric) split
on profits...The existing Iowa plant is an already running
30 million gallon facility...the new facility to be erected
on the same site will be a 100 million gallon facility...
Biocentric built Freedom Fuels 30 million gallon plant in
8 months (and he told me it normally takes more than double
that time by industry standards)...
2) The four tubes in Natchez are complete. They are going to
be shipped by barge to the Iowa plant and according to JR,
they are making those arrangements now. Another 50 are to
be constructed at the Iowa plant by October 15th...
3) Long term contracts are already in place by Biocentric/
Freedom Fuels for every gallon of biofuel produced (i.e.
biodiesel, ethanol, E-diesel)...
4) They shipped 1,000 gallons of cellulosic ethanol to the DOE
last Friday for testing to get approved for the Blender's
Credit from the government for producing cellulosic ethanol.
JR told me he expects to hear back from the DOE by Monday.
5) The Illinois Biofuels deal is tabled for now...JR told me
they wanted USSE to put up $1.2 million for the property
that came in appraised at $ 200K...he didn't think that was
a wise investment...
6) They just shipped first tanker of fuel from Houston to a
tugboat company that has 400 tugboats...JR's comment was
"we are profitable as of today"...
7) Told me they have been generating power using the biofuel in
Natchez for months using generators...
8) Told me they have been running the reactor continuously for
7 mos./3 weeks...no problems...
9) Kelmer Smith is still running SSTP...
9) Targets SSTP for Bulletin Board within the next few months..
USSE will be next up, but expects it will take more time..
(My note: I guess that's why SSTP is first)
10) Apparently, according to Rivera and Paisano (from Redwood),
there are dozens of PRs to be released in the next few
weeks....
My aim here is not to pump USSE/SSTP...my aim is to share what information I just got from Rivera (who is in CA at Redwood today)....
As Dr J (Jon Najarian) always says..."it's your money...you have to decide what to do with it"...
all kinds of "goodies" in that one.....I love the part about the OD-66:
(seems like the average time from pump to blow-the-lid-off revelation is about 3-4 years on these scams)
BTW, for those who remember, "72 hours away" was infamous on this board....
The July 17, 2007 OD-66 press release made, among others, the false claim that the product would begin shipping in 72 hours. [Facts,¶¶„s 115-26] At his October 25, 2007 testimony, he admitted that the time they had blended five gallons of OD-66: “MR. WESTRICK: So you used your two hands to blend five gallons of this proprietary blend of OD-66 in your Natchez Plant, is that correct? THE WITNESS: Yes, sir.”
Testimony of John H. Rivera, October 25, 2007 at 171] As noted at Facts ¶ 117, at his deposition is this case Rivera claimed memory loss about any aspect of the press release. He is stuck with his earlier testimony
PS: the value of the message board layering, and having patsies......Maximus bumper stickers, anyone????.....does the good Parson (and son) still approve???
Rivera’s Arguments
...
(2) Rivera did not author the false press releases;
Section 21(E) of the Exchange Act [15 U.S.C. §78u-5] provides a safe harbor for forward-looking statements that is not available to USSE in this case as Rivera claims. [List, ¶ 4] Section 21(E)(b)(C) excludes penny stock companies from any such safe harbor. Moreover, Section 21(E)?s safe harbor provision and the bespeaks caution doctrine apply to forward-looking statements only, and not to material omissions or misstatements of historical fact. In re Constellation Energy Group, Inc. Securities Litigation, Fed. Sec. L. Rep. P 95,837, D.Md., 2010. Here, any application of the safe harbor rule is ineffective both because USSE has always been a penny stock [Facts, ¶ 1] and, more critically, because misrepresentations like USSE has a “fully operational plant in production” materially misstates an historical fact and is not forward-looking in any regard.

Nothing in the Response contradicts the core misrepresentations that:
1. “USSE is the 'Green Solution' with its fully operational plant in production today;…;” [October 26, 2006 Press Release, Facts, ¶¶?s 40-6]
2. that “USSE [was] Ready for Green Fuel Production;” [January 17, 2007 Press Release, Facts, ¶¶?s 52-9]
3. that “[t]he new [USSE ] reactor [was] capable of producing 6,000 gallons of biofuel daily, converting five gallons of quality fuel from every bushel of soybean stock - a conversion ratio three times more effective than the creation of any traditional biodiesel…;” [January 17, 2007 Press Release, Facts, ¶¶?s 60-3, 103]
4. that a prominent industry member had “joined” USSE's board of directors and that USSE had engaged a prominent investment banker; [November 15 & 16, 2006 Press Releases, Facts, ¶¶?s 64-72]
5. that “U.S. Sustainable Energy Corp. Acquires 35 Acre Industrial Facility as the Cornerstone of 'Biofuels Revolution.' ” [December 12, 2006 Press Release, Facts, ¶¶?s 75-7]; and
6. That in April 2007 USSE had made its “Initial Sale of Proprietary Carbon Based Fertilizer.” [April 3, 2007 Press Release, Facts, ¶¶?s 111-5] [2]
[2] Plaintiff has identified other material misrepresentations in Rivera's public statements that are documented in its Statement of Undisputed Facts. For example, the so-called “OD-66” product highlighted in Rivera?s July 17, 2007 Press Release did not contain any USSE produced fuel and could not be shipped in 72 hours as the press Case 5:08-cv-00245-DCB-JMR Document 79 Filed 11/24/10 Page 2 of 23 release falsely claimed. [Facts, ¶¶„s 116-26] Moreover, Rivera misrepresented that USSE had patented technology to a small group of investors and falsely claimed in numerous press releases that USSE, and not Rivera, owned patent pending technology despite knowing that he would not disclose the information required to perfect his patent. [Facts, ¶¶„s 78-87]

bid 11 cents, ask $10
this shell is freaky
it could have been a fat finger trade, or a mistaken market order instead of a limit.....
again, with no follow up trades, it means little....
but still, why on earth would anyone dump $5k in this trash heap?
1000 shares, kind of meaningless...
PS: thx....
Priceless Photo MorningLight!!!!
BTW, what's with the 1900% increase today????
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
that would be a nice twist.......
PS: it worked for Al Capone!!!!
Here is to hoping the IRS swoops in and takes all these crooks down.
jmo
They ran a lawnmower with it straight (100%) at both places.
yep, Rivera and Co did so, indeed....
Stanton was witholding discovery materials.
can't imagine why.......
PS: as usual, thanks for the info......amazing after all this time, he has still not been "cited" for securities funny business.....
PPS: count the lies
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=56658854
both he and JR have supposedly been in very poor health for years, always on the verge of death. They'll probably outlive me.
Maybe, but I believe he's hiding money from his wife. It's always about the money.
The contempt citation was in divorce court. Stanton was witholding discovery materials.
Not really a mystery, if the information that he's hiding would result in an even bigger jail sentence than just 5 months.
MorningLightMountain,
No coconut calls; it's been so long the string rotted away. I don't even know what case the contempt refers to. But the only case I'm aware of is the very complicated EFTI bankruptcy. Why anyone could put themselves in jail for contempt in a BK is a mystery.

yep, the original prankster of penny stock alt-energy scams.....
wechoose:
is the Tampa coconut phone still active????.....any more details on the Stanton contempt???....
I hope he can't pay his legal bill .. and ends up representing himself. That would be a hoot to see.
lolol

what makes you think he'll pay his legal bills? how many bills did he ignore? anyway it's not his money, it's USSE and SSTP investors' money.
More pain for no gain.
I wouldnt want Rivera's legal bill.

He and JR need to be punished for all of the lives they have harmed. It's unfortunate it takes the justice system this long to react.

What a coincidence...
From CEO John Bordynuik: I was invited to Oppenheimer in Los Angeles with a very small group (<10). Present was David james, Managing Director of Oppenheimer and Douglas Pratt, VP, Investment Director. We are on their radar and that is why the invite. I have a lot of news to report and will be releasing it next week -- this news will be unrelated to the event tonight (I don't wish to cause crazy speculation). If we have any flippers, they will be gone next week
Thank you

that was a warning sign to run for the hills, but too many of us gave Rivera the benefit of the doubt.
Oppenheimer, an oldie, but a goodie....
What was not apparent in the encrypted electronic document from Oppenheimer dated November 15, 2006, was a legend noting that the document was preliminary in nature, for discussion, and was not in final form. The legend was partially hidden from view but was able to be viewed when seen through certain computer commands including the "print preview" command. The Company failed to notice the legend and issued the November 16, 2006 press release. When Oppenheimer & Co. informed the Company about this matter, and after Oppenheimer and the Company communicated about this on Friday, November 17, 2006, the Company determined it best to clarify the status of its legal relationship with Oppenheimer & Co.
I always thought this was only a civil case (???)
no jail for that, unless there is something like contempt to PO the judge......and I think the busy SEC always prefers to settle.....
I get your point though, justice does not seem to be served any way you slice it.....a typical penny stock travesty.....
And whatever happened to the accomplices? Ron the con, the parson, the parson's son, the pilot?
good questions, were they "in on it", or just taken in by that Rhino charisma!!!!
