XFLS products include CleanPetroleum™ and XPetroleum™ – both proprietary XFuels brand names –
refer to advanced biohydrocarbons, generically known as synthetic or biopetroleum.
Biohydrocarbons are similar to conventional hydrocarbon fuels, such as gasoline or diesel, but are produced from biomass feedstocks,
such as agricultural waste, woody biomass or algae (as well as other waste carbon materials),
through a variety of biological and chemical processes.

Earlier this year XFLS entered into a joint venture agreement with Converde which holds producing natural gas assets in Southern Alberta.
The JV currently has 300 producing Natural Gas Wells connected to the pipeline with purchase and significant established operator contracts already in place.

The property has its own compressor station located at the main pipeline resulting in extremely low transport cost.
The JV, named Area 2 Energy, is 51% for Converde and 49% to XFuels which is contributing its Hydrogen Recovery Technology (HRT)
and will also use the site for a pilot project for its combined Carbon/Hydrogen Fuel Cell technology.

The shallow gas play produces an average of 1.1 million cubic feet per day and an established capital plan to increase the volume to
over 2.1 million cubic feet per day by the end of the year. The site has approximately 80 Bcf (Billon Cubic Feet) of reserve which equates to
enormous growth opportunities for decades to come.

The JV is starting to book some sales: May sales for Area 2 Energy were $42,144.67 with a summarized net operating income of $23,373.00
before operating expenses. 
June sales for Area 2 Energy were $58,525.00 with a summarized net operating income of $38,842.75 before operating expenses.

Earlier this month, Area 2 Energy completed swabbing its first test group of 7 wells and results were very encouraging. Swabbing is a method of
removing water from the wells in order to allow the gas to flow better which translates into increased production.  
Prior to the swabbing the group of wells was producing an average of 68 GJ/day and post swabbing an immediate increase was recorded
of 230 GJ/day giving a net increase of approximately 230%.

Area 2 will continue the swabbing program on 100 additional wells over the next few weeks as per the capital plan and will analyze the results. 
Area 2 currently owns and operates 350 wells on the Atlee property.
