You might be right about this Michigan Left thing that to me. I may be immune from that I cannot notice it. Like how some people smell like terrible BO but don't notice it. But I try to shower a lot and not be a slob etcetera myself.

I have heard about this Michigan Left once or twice in my life here it's not a common phrase. I would have to google or bing or facebook it to find out more about it to clarify its meaning really. But oh well it must be a characteristic of being here and if I'm not so aware of it why would I bother finding more about it if it is normal or not. Why bother really.

All politics and just about anything else is local. Except now these stock systems I developed are probably the opposite and again a double why bother again.

Stocktrademan, I was speaking of what is referred to in Michigan as the left turn... the turnarounds on the roads. I think Michigan is one of the few states
that has such a road system that incorporates this particular left turnaround. I have heard other Michiganders refer to it as the Michigan Left... not sure if that is how you all refer to it for certain. Anyway my political view is close to yours but leans even more right!!!

Just so you know if has some political flavor to it I took many tests and actually I'm a moderate with a slight lean to the right. And I prefer not to vote and work on my own things instead choosing the lesser of two evils so to speak. On the political test graphs I'm like right next to dead center of the spectrum just minutely off to the right. If you think I'm exuding leftist tendencies, maybe they're watching me and I'm reacting endemically? Who knows.

So if that was like a target in a scope I'd say they missed but real close to feel it and make me flinch like an inch away. And probably say a few swear words with 'you missed' and get away but politically there is no way.

I think right now we are some 'uniparty' and voting doesn't matter anymore and is like a catharsis for people who are not insanely rich to give them a pressure relief like sheep bleating. 'The Man' protects the rich and who cares about the poor or lesser people. So I said whatever and I work on providing for myself with these stock pick and chart activities.

I wanted to clarify about that, I am patriotic but have realized I need to focus on more effective activities for myself.

Yes, I know about those who are not used to the snow and ice. Dallas gets some nasty ice storms once in awhile that catches the unwary off guard... the black ice can be nasty. A friend who moved there recently from Chicago was a surprised victim. The Panhandle can be really treacherous getting some nasty snow storms...watch out when driving over to New Mexico or Colorado to go skiing. Those chinook winds blowing the snow can shut down the highway for a few days and some cars get stranded. It can be a death trap if not prepared.

So, while many parts of the state are flat there are some scenic hill country areas mostly from Austin west and south a bit. One thing I really love is the great
bbq and Mexican food

Perhaps Texas should introduce the "Michigan left"!

I like Texas. I have been there everywhere it is on the top of my list to move to. I'm being selfish in a way to save on taxes in my plan. Honestly the place looks boring flat an monotonous but worth it. Not dissing it I have to look at the checks and balances and decided Texas is a worthy place to retire to. I have been all all over the world and then some. I think you live there and that is cool. I would like to too.

There are some unexpected cautions however. I discovered one. I expect there are others I cannot discern.


On my trip to Texas Instruments to the HQ they called the "Thunder Lab" I was astonished how people were welcoming and proud and greeting me all the time at random. One mentioned we made nuclear weapons here previously. I look down the hallway and like I cannot see where it ends and these are huge hallways. There are people in frames that used be presidents and CEOs around arranged on the wall on display. I thought this was too much and went out to back door outside and there is a stonehenge like concrete display of prominent engineers for the place all like praying to a purple star in the ground. And this was like on the corporate premises. And I could even walk around this probably seemingly sacred place and even step on the purple star in the center. This seems powerful. So I like Texas but not to step on it to shame it of course.

I rented a car once there and you guys have like lane dividers next to the stop lights that nearly blew a new tire. Must be a Michigan thing we don't have them here. Like how when we have a good snowstorm I observe everybody off the road is from Florida for some reason.

I looked at it on multiple time frames. It appears this is a profitable engagement on the weekly level.

Just so you know I'm not really fixated and focusing on this chart as a priority now. I have my own systems and as you said it's not really a monster. I agree. I focus on them instead.

So I like that your pointed it out to me but probably won't participate at all even if there is some money there.
