yup. Buy now (or last month or two). Hold. Sell at first run up during hurricane season.
Saw you on the WAMUQ board NYPD...what do you think of it as a potential flipper?
Won't stop it from doubling though.Even from here.Get smart already and learn how this one is played.
this company was OOB a long time ago , lol....eom
OH CRAP - I BOUGHT A TON OF SHARES ON THIS RECOMMENDATION!! Man, I wish I would have done some DD before I bought - or read the LAST 3 POSTS!!!
Not bad action for an "out of business" stock....lol
LOL WEGI is Out Of Business!.eom
I have that one marked. Do you follow PINR anymore?
I like following the storms even more than trading the stock. I'm sure some new picks will be brought up this spring on the Hurricane Board:

Rhino
Yep, going out of business usually has a negative long-term effect on your stock price. Where do we turn now for storm plays? I like following the weather patterns too much to not have a cane play!
I have not been in it since the summer, and I say it is done because it sounds like they're going out of business. Did you read the last filing?
Rhino
Rhino,
I think we get the message - this stock is done for you.
Don't blame you especially if you were in at higher prices and aking a loss. But for me and others at these entry prices i think its great.
Good luck
Manchild1
Hey, Chev, nice to hear from ya. Yeah, this one is pretty much done. We're really running out of any good Cane Plays anymore.
Rhino
Still holdin up. lol .008 x .01
ME TO , THOUGHT .0003 was close at hand, registered shares float is not huge , unregistered is montrous... good luch , buyer beware imo
IMPO
this has been in bankrupcy condition for months, unregistered share structur blown out. long ago.... good luck , watch out anything Laurus Masterfund imo
IMPO
Interesting how people are buying this up
Very true. I think most of us knew he was right about WEGI all along, but that's not to say it couldn't be traded successfully.
Rhino
I guess now printmail will get some rest.
GLTY, meffoos. I guess since WEGI is pretty much done, we can talk about other stocks here now - you might want to take a look at GRDO in the a.m. Closed above key resistance on the news today and may start a serious run tomorrow and into next week. I bought some this morning at .0021 and I'm already up 90%!
Rhino
That would definately explain the lower price this year. Yeah, I am done here as well. My holdings in this stock was once worth well over a thousand, and now its under a hundred. Take the losses and move on.
See you all in the next future stock.
mark tucker
It was a great flipper over the last several months, hate to see it go.
Good luck to everyone.
Greg
I'm out as well. This one is done. Was fun to play when the times were right.
Rhino
LOL, you got it by yourself... I'm outta here... it was a NOBRAINER when it was in play!
With that, I'm surprised it didn't drop further than it did today. Probably more red tomorrow.
Anyone want to take over as Mod here, LOL?
Rhino
Saw it this morning,,,
Always hate to see another business closing down no matter how common place it is right now...LJ
WEGI RIP >
On February 6, 2009, Windswept Environmental Group, Inc. (the “Company”) received notification from its secured lenders that, in view of the Company’s defaults, they were accelerating the payment on their loans. These loans are in the current approximate aggregate principal amount of $5,908,000.
Prior thereto, the Company sought to obtain financing and potentially pay off its secured loans. Negotiations with one possible financing source were terminated by such financing source and no additional sources of capital were located. In view of the Company’s current inability to pay its expenses as they become due and to pay the secured loans, the Company has terminated operating activities except insofar as to collect receivables, liquidate all assets and pay (i) accrued payroll (and related taxes), (ii) its secured lenders and, (iii) to the extent applicable, taxing authorities. As a result, it is anticipated that no assets will be available for distribution to stockholders.
On February 6, 2009, Dr. Kevin Phillips resigned as a director of the Company, on February 12, 2009, Anthony P. Towell resigned as a director of the Company and on February 13, 2009, Arthur J. Wasserspring resigned as Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Messrs. Phillips and Towell were also members of the Audit and Compensation Committees of the Board. Jeffrey Micheli remains an officer and director of the Company and all employees of the Company have been terminated.

Do you know that the CEO died a few months ago? Leaves a lot of questions about the future of the company.
Rhino
That was the original plan, but the price never edged high enough to make a profit, and then it dropped, leaving a couple of us up high. And then we had no choice but to wait until 2008, which didn't even yield a hurricane that lifted the price past 18 cents or so. Now, its 2009. Maybe this fall we'll see some good movement. I live an hour west of Miami, so maybe that will encourage a storm to hit.
see you all tommorow.
meffoos
The key is to trade these pink sheet stocks, not invest for the long-term.
Rhino
You just described about 99.5% of the market right now!
So, you'll be taking a serious look around next week then huh? lol.. I hate all of the stock picks that I invested in years ago. There was so much life and energy in these companies 2-3 years ago. Then the money dried up and the activity stopped, and then those loyal remaining investors pulled out as well, leaving what I would call a ghost town waiting for someone to find gold, and bring back the volume.
meffoos
Pretty tempting down here, but still a lot of risk. I might take a more serious look at it around .005.
Rhino
We have heavy volume today, in the negative territory, but there is some life. I never expected the price to go this low and am not exactly thrilled about the outlook of this company as well. It's going to take a massive hurricane to get some lift out of this stock, and even then, I am not positive we will see profits. I have been in this stock since summer of 2007 and its not looking really good for .25 at which I bought in.
Have a good day everyone.
meffoos
Do we take profits Tuesday or hold till Wednesday?...LJ
Amen to that brother!!!!!
well your secret is out now so keep on accumulating but wisely - glty
I know this happens year after year, but I still find it quite amazing how it is easier to make money on this stock in the winter over hurricane season. Wish you could short it every September!
Hey look at that a double already, real funny
he he he... who else do you think has been quietly accumulating?
OBAMA cancelled the hurricane season but that was just to get elected. some say he walked on water. NYPD i have seen the light and taking your advice. i had to get beat down enough times before i realized the simplicity of buying at cyclical lows and being patient. Can't wait till season picks up and newbes get in and make us some money.
manchild
What's that? Uh -- Contracts? Don't talk about -- contracts? You kidding me? Contracts?
spoken in Jim Mora's voice
Well Bush did it last year.Oh where is that contract pr?
Didn't you hear? Obama cancelled Hurricane Season this year. Part of his Economic Stimulus Plan. Can he do that?
Rhino
I am in again at .01 as I stated would be about the buy point.Easy double within the next few months.Triple or more by middle of august.Won't get to last years highs and we know why.
Is anyone catching on here now and seeing what I have been saying all along?I said when to buy and I hit it right on the head.
added today at .009 and .01. also adding nsmg between .005 and .006. GLTA
manchild1
This is the buy point in case anyone wondered
Stacked at .005 on the BID. An order just above that level should do pretty well, especially with the ASK at .015! Just a question of whether you can get the volume to get much of a position.
Rhino
My buy is in now for under .01 as expected

HOLTSVILLE, N.Y., Aug. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Windswept Environmental Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets: WEGI.PK - News) today announced that its Trade Winds subsidiary is presently preparing approximately twenty (20) vehicles with generators and at least three (3) 45 foot semi-tractors trailers to leave its Holtsville location this weekend to support our Louisiana operations. This mobilization will depend on the strengthening and direction of the storm, but we have already contacted our large commercial clients in Louisiana to help support them.
Michael O'Reilly, Chairman and CEO of Windswept, stated, "The Company has, to our knowledge, the only pre-established pristine compound (with approximately 400 beds and a fully operational office with commercial kitchens and laundry facilities) in the New Orleans/Baton Rouge area and we have been there since the work we performed during Hurricane Katrina. As soon as the storm passes, we believe we will be the first Company able to assist in the recovery efforts to not only get our clients back in operation, but others as well. If you need our assistance, please contact us at our 24-hour operational Hot Line (1-800-282-8701). We have helped many during many hurricanes (Katrina, Wilma, Charlie and Ivan, to name a few).
