nice to see that we are refinanced with 575k CAD.
with the JV agreement with Goldcorp they have to give an adittional 350k for the drill
I expect at least 10.000-15.000 drillmeteres for the next program.
A steady newsflow and good results schould move this up again in the next months...

WEST RED LAKE GOLD MINES CLOSES $575,000 FINANCING
West Red Lake Gold Mines Inc. has completed a non-brokered private placement of common share units for total gross proceeds of $575,000.
The company issued 5.75 million common share units at a price of 10 cents per common share unit for total gross proceeds of $575,000. Each common share unit consists of one common share in the capital of the company and one common share purchase warrant. Each warrant issued in connection with the financing entitles its holder to purchase one common share in the capital of the company at an exercise price of 15 cents per share for a period of 24 months from the date of issuance.
Proceeds from the financing will be used for exploration on the company's gold exploration project located in Red Lake, Ont., and for general working capital purposes. Exploration work is planned to commence following the spring breakup period.
The company also announces that options have been granted to directors and consultants of the company to purchase, in total, up to 400,000 common shares in the capital of the company at an exercise price of 15 cents per common share for a period of three years.
In connection with the financing, the company issued 261,000 common shares in finders' fees to eligible persons.
We seek Safe Harbor.
This rally from the last weeks could be just the first sign of life in a longterm uptrend.
The money comes back slowly to jrgoldmining stocks. Hopefully gold takes off again until next drillresults are coming.
HUI also holding at 180pt
i am here for 1CAD :D :D
wait and see more core was sent to lab
I don't think that there are more results to come!? where did you get this information?
i think a PP is coming soon and in a few months hopefully spectacular high grades in the cores.
hinge zone could be the tiket for a 10bagger from here...
Next drill results well RLG never sent in all the cores from last 6 holes so expect drill results from the last 6 holes in a month or so
RLG should be back drilling in May
This is looking really good now. if RLG hits high grade at the hinge zone this stock will soar! i think even 1CAD is possible. maybee double the resource and a goldprice heading back up.
but it will take a 4-5 months for next drillresults...
rlg hit .21 today still think result no good lol
gold from 111 meters to 300 meters they are step out holes at 500 meters
need more drilling I can wait
ok maybee they are not so bad... :) the closest drillhole to the hinge zone hit high grade, but the Hinge zone is still untouched. thats the positive in this news release.
not so good in my eyes, or what do you think??

Mr. John Kontak reports
WEST RED LAKE GOLD DRILLS 69.55 GRAMS GOLD OVER 1.50 METRES
West Red Lake Gold Mines Inc. has released exploration results on the 3,100-hectare West Red Lake project. The exploration program focused on tracing the geology to the east towards the area of the intersection of two regional gold bearing structures (the "Structural Intersection") situated east of the Rowan Mine zones. The best result was 69.55 grams per ton of gold over 1.5 metres from the most easterly drill hole of the exploration program.
The Company drilled six holes totalling 1767m to better define the 500m portion of the east-west trending regional structure located between the Rowan Mine zones and the Structural Intersection alteration package. Drilling moved progressively east towards the Structural Intersection target area. The first five holes intercepted gold values in the steeply dipping regional deformation structure. The sixth and most easterly hole (RLG 15-24) provided the best result of 69.55gpt over 1.5m and was drilled into the western end of the alteration associated with the Structural Intersection. The intercept was at 297.0m - 298.5m down the hole which was drilled to the north at a -45 degree dip. The sixth hole showed significantly increased thickness of silicification within the mafic host rock along with increased thickness of ultramafics, sediments (including iron formation), and porphyry rocks.
The Structural Intersection of the two regional structures is interpreted to have altered a portion of the east-west trending regional structure over a distance of up to 1500m with hole RLG 15-24 situated at the western end, and the Red Summit Mine located near the eastern end of this 1500m long favourable exploration horizon.
The exploration horizon begins at hole RLG 15-24 and continues east for 450m to the edge of the Structural Intersection. The Structural Intersection itself is approximately 300m wide. A significant volume of porphyry rock is present on the east side of the Structural Intersection where the east-west regional structure continues and trends east for an additional 750m towards the Red Summit Mine.
The Structural Intersection of the two regional structures containing ultramafics as well as iron rich sediments and volcanics creates the potential for significant gold deposition in the geological folds and fractures which typically occur in association with the intersection of geological structures, similar to gold mineralization seen at productive mines in Red Lake.
The six holes RLG 15-19, 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 were drilled to the north into the east-west trending regional structure known as the Pipestone Bay - St Paul Deformation Zone (the "PBS Zone"). The initial five holes traced the structure eastwards towards where the north-east trending Golden Arm Structure intersects with the PBS Zone - the Structural Intersection. The sixth hole RLG 15-24 was drilled into the western end of the alteration associated with the Structural Intersection.
Hole RLG 15-24 intersected intercalated volcanic rock units consisting of argillaceous graphites, feldspar porphyries and QFP along with cherty banded iron formations carrying sulphides. Silicification or quartz veining with gold values occurred close to lithological contacts.
In addition to the high grade intercept grading 69.55gpt over 1.5m at 297m to 298.5m down hole, there are three additional zones with widths of 2.8m, 1.2m and 2.5m between 230m and 248m down hole RLG 15-24 (see Diamond Drill Hole Table).
The three former producing mines on the West Red Lake Project property are situated on the east-west trending PBS Zone, a regional geological structure which crosses the Company property and then continues east to the town of Red Lake. The regional scale Golden Arm Structure crosses onto the West Red Lake Project from the south boundary and trends northeast for 2km to where it intersects with the PBS Zone. The intersection of the two regional scale geological structures forms the Structural Intersection exploration target which is situated approximately 1.7km east of the Rowan Mine Shaft.
The technical information presented in this news release has been reviewed and approved by Ken Guy, P.Geo., a consultant to West Red Lake Gold and the Qualified Person responsible for the exploration at the West Red Lake Project property, as defined by National Instrument 43-101 "Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects".

GOLDCORP ANNOUNCES SENIOR MANAGEMENT CHANGES
Goldcorp Inc. is making changes in senior leadership as the company exits a phase of intensive project development, and now focuses on optimizing the performance of its portfolio of low-cost mines and advancing a robust organic project pipeline.
The business renewal strategy is designed to ensure disciplined capital allocation through a decentralized management approach. Under the new management structure, mine general managers will be empowered to act as business owners and will be held accountable for maximizing the return on the capital invested in, while growing the net asset value of, their businesses. These operations will be supported by a leaner senior executive team at the company's head office.
"We will seek more efficiency in our operations and will reinvest into a robust pipeline of existing organic growth opportunities. We believe this strategic renewal offers the best potential returns with the lowest-risk profile," said David Garofalo, president and chief executive officer. "The changes in our team and streamlined reporting structure will support our strategy and accelerate our achievement of improved results."
As part of the company's senior management reorganization, Russell Ball, executive vice-president of corporate development and capital management, will assume the chief financial officer role, effective immediately. He replaces Lindsay Hall, executive vice-president and CFO, who has left the company to pursue other interests. Mr. Ball joined Goldcorp in 2013, from Newmont Mining Corp., where he served as CFO from 2007 to 2013. In his new role, he will continue to oversee the company's corporate development activities. In addition, the following changes to the finance leadership team were also made:
• Richard Orazietti will assume the role of senior vice-president and controller. Mr. Orazietti has been vice-president, internal audit, at Goldcorp since 2012;
• David Stephens will assume the role of vice-president and treasurer. Mr. Stephens joined Goldcorp in 2014, after starting his career in investment baking. He most recently worked as director, corporate development, at Goldcorp.
• Rohan Athaide will assume the role of vice-president, internal audit. Mr. Athaide joined Goldcorp in 2012, and most recently worked as director, internal audit.
"I would like to congratulate Richard, David and Rohan on their promotions, and I am confident they bring the right financial acumen and skills to support our focus on disciplined capital allocation," said Mr. Garofalo.
George Burns, executive vice-president and chief operating officer, will continue driving operational performance. Business unit leaders Chris Woodall (Canada and the United States) and Joe Dick (Latin America) will provide regional oversight of operations and will each be supported by regional CFOs, two newly created positions for which a search process is also under way. Took a Flyer on a Gold Play in Red Lake
by Allan Barry Laboucan | posted in: Uncategorised | 0
These days, I spend a lot of time on Ceo.Ca, it is a great tool for investors in the resource and venture capital space. There is a growing community of sharp people on every day, recently a poster that uses the handle @stateside wrote an article about a small gold stock that I had been following for around a decade. Then today, I heard something from an executive of a major gold mining company who was being interviewed on BNN from the PDAC conference in Toronto. He made a crucial point that caused me to take a flyer on a junior gold explorer they are partnered up with on a project in Red Lake, Ontario. He didn’t make any direct comments about the junior, but sometimes you need to connect the dots.

West Red Lake Gold Mines, (CSE: RLG), is focused on gold in Red Lake, Ontario which is the best gold camp in the world to look for high-grade gold. It is where Goldcorp got its start and what propelled them to become one of the largest gold miners in the world. Goldcorp and West Rest Lake Gold have a joint venture, 60% owned by RLG and 40% owned by Goldcorp. Additionally, Goldcorp has an option to gain a larger percentage of the project through additional work.
The reason I’ve been watching this company for so long is because when someone finds high-grade gold when drilling in Red Lake, I pay attention. During the last bear market in gold, which I’ve written about it being over at the start of 2016, this junior, like many, had been struggling.
Before I get onto why I think they are onto something exciting with their understanding of the geology and are drilling in the right spot, I wanted to go over some of their recent news. The company was recently under a management cease trade order, that the removal of the order required the company put out a technical report. Which they did, and the cease trade order has been lifted. They have also recently gone through some management changes. They have little money, but despite these issues, I was willing to take a flyer on the stock today.
I purchased shares, partially because of the results of the technical report they issued and the new direction of their drilling. There are two important structures running through the project, one is east to west, and the other is southwest to northeast. These two structures intersect, and it is this area that I’ve been waiting for a long time for them to drill. One of the structures has had minimal drilling and hit high-grade gold up to an ounce p/t and higher. The intersection of those two structures have not been drilled, but it looks like their technical team gets that this is the key target, and are ready to drill it.
RLG Map
In the image above, which I grabbed from the West Red Lake Mine website. The intersection where the two structures intersect they are calling the Hinge Zone. This is the kind of area suited for a spot where the gold can come up, drilling here I’ve believed is a crucial step to understanding the realistic potential of this project for years. I’m pleased with their current geological interpretation and that they are going to drill it.
Initially, when @stateside on Ceo.Ca wrote about West Red Lake Mines, I didn’t say anything, I was wondering how they were going to fund the exploration, it will get easier as gold moves up as I see it will in the short and long term. Goldcorp has also recently went through a management change, and what I heard from their new CEO in the BNN interview gave me the confidence to take a flyer at $0.10 on RLG and now write it up.
David Garofalo is the new Goldcorp CEO, as of around a week ago, so his debut really is this week at the PDAC. Earlier this morning, he was on BNN for an interview with Andy Bell, they went over several topics but one in particular really caught my attention. He talked about how the industry badly needs new discoveries to replace the mines that are being mined out. This has been a chronic problem since before the gold bull market started back in 2001.
I was really impressed when he said that he wants to refocus Goldcorp back into exploration. And that he would look at it like a portfolio and can put their money to work on a number of exploration projects. I have a feeling that if RLG can show their new geological interpretation is correct and they hit high-grade gold in that Hinge Zone, this project will become a place Goldcorp can focus some of their gold exploration budgets.
There is still a long way to go for West Red Lake Gold Mines, but I like what I’m hearing about the project and the drilling. Stay tuned, I will be following this story closely.
My reports are for information purposes only, it is important for you to do your homework and speak with your financial advisors before making any investment decision.

6 drill holes coming next week
no brainer here at .10 cents
PS deepest drill hole in last 6 holes were waiting for is around 325 meters 0r well over 1000 feet drill hole
drilled six holes with a total 1,657 metres drilled
average 267 meters or 900 feet deep
that's not shallow drill holes to me
Not sure where they are in the 5 mil spent
Goldcorp will exercise is my guess
look for an early drill program coming up
i talked to the company regarding the drillresults, there are 6 shallow holes that are still to be released in march.
there is no deep hole... :-/
what we need is a much higher shareprice to finance a big drillprogramm (20.000-30.000m)
for now the company has to spend the funds carefully. the assets are promising, but the financial situation at the moment is not the best.
what do you think about the JV partner Goldcorp? Rlg spend by now close to 5 million bucks onexploration at rowan. once this is completed GC has to make their decison to take their option on an aditional 11% interest on the Rowan property paying 7M Cad to RLG.
i think this could happen within this year.
Late Fall 2015 6 drill holes were waiting for one was a deep drill hole
Key exploration targets:
1.Deepening the Rowan mine gold zones below 150 metres along a strike length of 600 metres east from the Rowan mine shaft, coincident with the geological structure known as the Pipestone Bay-St. Paul deformation zone (PBS zone). The PBS zone is the east-west-trending geological structure which hosts the three former-producing gold mines situated on the company property. The PBS zone is a regional shear zone that trends across the West Red Lake project and then continues east for 20 kilometres to the town of Red Lake;
2. Extension of the Rowan mine gold system for an additional 400 to 500 metres farther to the east along the PBS zone to the intersection with the regional-scale Newman Todd structural zone (NT zone). The western edge of the NT zone is approximately one kilometre east of the Rowan mine shaft;
3.Structural target at the intersection of the two regional-scale gold-bearing structures, the PBS zone and the NT zone. This exploration target area is approximately 2,000 metres in length, and is situated between one and three kilometres east of the Rowan mine shaft. A similar intersection of two regional structures occurs 20 kilometres farther to the east, proximal to the Campbell mine and Red Lake mine.
Exploration plans
The next stage of drilling is being designed to extend the Rowan mine gold zones farther to the east for an additional 400 to 500 metres along the PBS zone to the area where it intersects with the NT zone
hi,
thanks for this info, who exactly is eric coffin?
close at 10 ct, thats good
RLG invited to speak at the PDAC summit by Eric Coffin :))) on Saturday
shares got cleaned up over the years and with gold at 1700 Canadian a 1 million oz deposit at 7.7 grams is worth far more
Goldcorp being there partner you can't ask for a better partner
close at 0.12
thats sick, after so manny years of flatline it seems like the sky is the limit.
i hope it hits $1
West Red Lake plans fall 2015 drilling in Ontario
2015-10-30 15:55 ET - News Release
Mr. John Kontak reports
WEST RED LAKE GOLD EXPLORATION PLAN FOR FALL 2015
West Red Lake Gold Mines Inc. has provided the fall 2015 exploration plan on the company's 3,100-hectare West Red Lake project, located in the prolific Red Lake gold district, 20 kilometres west of Balmertown in Northwestern Ontario, Canada.
The company plans to drill several drill holes into an underexplored portion of the project, which is located on the gold-bearing geological trend that hosts the three former-producing gold mines situated on the company's property. The area to be explored is along an east-west strike length of 500 metres and is located between the Rowan mine gold system and the area of the structural intersection. The purpose of the exploration plan is to extend the Rowan mine gold system farther to the east along the geological trend.
from where do you have that there was a step out deep drillhole?
i know that there where drilled 6 shallow holes on the 2014 drillsite at rowan and that the news on this will me released in march
lets see what the day brings
Gold will be over 1300 this month
drill results should drive it lots higher
i think 0.50 is possible in the future hopefully more ;)
it depends on the market
