nope, I have no idea what I am doing yet LOL
not me, I'm only trading puts...you can if you want...
switch to some calls now ?
well, 10y/USD dipping hard now, so market should bounce..imo
Don't look now $3+ on those puts...oh man, did I screw up...!@%$!#@!
OH shit, they faked me out...!@#$!@#
I sold 1.40's....dollar dipped a dime & 10 year dipped .05....if/when they uptick I'll reload puts...
bid 1.11 again but didn't get filled
ok, I'm 75% confident we drop after lunch....10y/usd been upticking...tells me this rally is bs...problem is sometimes it's the day after the big drop comes...but it reeks so bad today...Dollar has really been upticking nicely today into this rally..one of these is lying, my bets on market...lol
I 100% respect stops.. I use them all the time...other times like this I just average when I think we're way too toppy 10y/USD ut's and buy volumes drying up...
sold other 1/2 got stopped out 1.28
yes 5 puts each 1.18 and 1.11
sold 1/2 at 1.45 from 1.18
you pick some up? I believe after lunch dump to fill gap incoming...I may be wrong, but the dollar has been upticking hard over lunch...10 year slowed, but dollar ramping
yes, market too toppy & 10y ut's...I'm very light on these, not playing heavy against feds push, but expect a dip/correction to scalp in next hour or two...trade your style, if you're not comfortable with averaging, then use stops
My definition of light is 1 op to start, 2 ops average .20 dip in price, 3 next .20...so on...usually it pulls average down so when market does sell, it usually blows by average quickly & even +.50 on say 6 ops is $300....do that once or twice a day it adds up...
oh oh ok got it, vs a tight stop
added 298 1.17, will keep adding...market too toppy 10y too high..imo
you were in 298s I thought?
I change my mind, going to average 298's...10 day 60 minute very toppy & buy volumes drying up....
in 298 puts 1.30's with tight stop
they did hit 2.67, but I'm very happy with trade as it tanked out rest of day
great trade, hope I am at my desk for your next purchase so I can follow
Close, but not quite, lol
https://www.screencast.com/t/yIU2fs4Wz60m
out 294 puts 2.30 ;)
averaged 294 QQQ puts .82
Going to be trading in & out of puts for .50 scalps until I see a 10y/usd really ramping...I think they're doing everything they can to keep lid on this market from going lower (for now)...but I will be reloading end of month March & early April puts as soon as I see 10y/usd really ramp....
out 294 puts +0.50
The other day powell mentioned the reduction of their balance sheets was going good...I thought "oh shit, this is their signal to dump at will" they want to buy back...but MUCH lower...
I think only reason we don't have a blown out dump is 10y/usd dipped hard last 2 days...I think they dipped it to keep market stabilized...we'll see how long that lasts
Very odd action. Really expected a bounce before the crash. This almost feels like capitulation which shouldn’t happen yet.
WOW, market acting like late 2007/early 2008...
and here goes calls! I'll make a believer out of peeps watching this board...that 10y/usd is all we need to know about general market direction... ;)
in calls today again, 10Y/USD dipped VERY hard last 2 days 3.69/104.14....
SIVB yes, I thought the 'tutes would support it too so I didn't buy any puts on it.
I bot a few Puts contracts of SI and up about 13%. SI up about 16 cents in AH. I wonder if it heads lower tomorrow and into the future.
SIVB...ugh, I had puts right there...but passed because it was 97% institutional, thought they'd shore it up from going lower...DOH!
looks like SI puts would have been great buy at 3.50+ when you asked....DOH!
well, calls didn't work today, but PUTS ROCKED! ;)
yeah, I think so too, I'm early yet...but it's definitely on my radar...
we still have a couple weeks till the summation turns bro. Scalpers can make bank but gonna hurt longs IMO !!!
well, I'll be, market still tanking...sold tomorrow puts too early, but I thought we'd bounce for sure there...DOH!
was $13-15 area on that post too...lmao
I actually remember that post. too.
They should be good, they'll be closing doors...but the time we should have bought puts was:

Welcome to Vlispxpert's Underground. This board is mainly for undervalued, oversold stock plays. The price of the stock is not of concern, so .10 to $20+ picks are welcome if they meet the criteria below. (No pinks or otcbb please) I will be placing my watch picks once a week or whenever I find one I really like...These days it's quality over quantity of picks...
Disclaimer:
Anyone who is considering investing in any of my oversold picks, needs to understand that there is usually a reason the stock is oversold in the first place. 9 times out of 10 there was some bad news that caused a major sell off...
These plays are risky in nature because of this factor alone. I am playing the odds when I buy an oversold stock. The theory behind my picks is the price shouldn't go much lower, due to the oversold indicators & the shorts are close to covering. JMHO
If the price does go lower, I average down, which I believe just causes more pressure on the stock rather than relieving pressure by selling. I usually wait for a 25-35% drop before averaging down, depending on the volume & activity of the market.
I also believe in holding the stock through the turbulant bottom when it is trying to correct itself. It may take a day or it may take months, but the theory is, it will turn around at some point...JMHO
There are 4 things that will make me sell a stock immediately:
1) Strong dilution (over 50% addition to O/S).
2) Bankruptcy.
3) Reverse split.
4) Bad news, usually of the financial nature (Big losses, bad quarter, losing major client, etc.)
I just wanted to post this as a reminder to those who do decide to buy one of my picks that there is a high risk factor & that my picks aren't really daytrades. They are buy & hold until the market comes to you. Sometimes they play out like daytrades, and sometimes it's like water drip torture for weeks on end...
I believe in my method, however contrary it is to the daytrade crowd, who wants instant gratification or it's a complete failure in their minds....
Good luck & good trading, I hope this helps in future decisions on buying any future picks...Thanks
Terminology you may hear:
Starter=1%-2% amount to keep eye on stock while it's trying to find support.
Add=2%-6% tripling of position after a 20-35% dip.
Back up Truck=20%-30%
"If you want to get rich, stick your head above the crowd, see which way it is going, and immediately head in the opposite direction" -My Favorite Quote-
"The stock market is a vehicle to move wealth from the impatient to the patient". -Another Great Quote-
