Actually it has nothing to do with that short report.
I actually noticed that a PR was missing from their website long before the report came out, as I was on their site looking for the PR about Volvo and couldn't find it. As for the logos missing, that was after the short report, though if they picked up on some at a prior date, the more power to them. I never read that full short report, honestly, as I knew that they had an agenda. I do believe, however, that they must have hit the nail on the head in some cases based on how the company has been reactionary, but for the most part dead silent on many of the issues. While the timing wasn't good as they were in the midst of working on the final draft of the spatial web, the company still avoided to address the issues mentioned in the report, which should have been an easy task for a company looking out for its shareholders.
You’re just repeating the short report without providing any proof or context:
On November 28, 2022, VERSES entered into a partnership with Blue Yonder, a company specializing in digital supply chain and omni-channel commerce fulfillment providing solutions to over 3500 of the world's largest retailers and warehouse distribution providers across 78 countries.
^ you can also check Blue Yonder’s website to confirm they are working with Verses. NASA and Volvo are more questionable “partnerships”, but they are indeed part of the beta testing.
I'll believe in their backing of G42 when it doesn't amount to diluting shareholders, and there's an actual appreciation in the stock price. To date, the company's financing has done nothing but reduce shareholder value.
Now on a more positive note, at least we haven't seen any recent penny stock promoters, as the company has spent millions over the last year in promoting their stock. Its a start at least.
Apparently you have to signup with the PAIR website to gain access to patent apps. Years ago PAIR was a pain in the fucking ass to use, and its even worse now since they've made all of the changes. I'm not wasting my time on their website to try and pull up a bunch of patent applications, as that's exactly what they are, applications.
Do they even have a single patent yet? If so, those are easy to find and pull up and gain access to. The company has already stated that they have a bunch of provisional patent apps, and thats what those appear to be. They have to file patent applications within a certain period or those expire. I've never really had any concern about their lack of IP, to be honest, but it wouldn't hurt them to have IP as right now they have nothing.
Of course they're not still testing the software. At least not anyone but maybe Blue Yonder, which was the last one to join the Beta program, IIRC.
Still, the company has advertised them all as partnerships, which they are not. They've even reworded how things are said in recent PRs because of it, as well as removed logos and even at least one PR.
This public Beta was supposed to revolve around..... get this.... the public. They already had the private beta for enterprise, and now came the public beta on the 20th of June where not a single person or entity has come out and said that they're using the software. You can claim NDAs are signed, but we would have heard by now if anyone in the general public had actual access.
As for the initial Beta testers on the enterprise level, we already know that Nalantis had positive things to say way back when they used it, and they even mentioned some of the things that the company should work on with the software. It was clear that they had access for a short time, but that was it. It also makes sense as even now its only half a product or less based on the development roadmap. Still, after more than six months of companies having access for however long they used it, and seeing where the company stands today, one would think that at least a single one of these enterprise level customers would have taken a stake in the company, or at least did a financing round, and yet that never happened. Surely even if the companies didn't invest in the small startup, at least some employees would have gotten the word out to their families and friends. Based on the share price today, that clearly didn't take place either.
It should bother investors that the initial private beta only turned out to be six entities and that was it. Ten were advertised as being planned, but just like all other advertisements they failed to deliver.
Agent Smith thinks benchmarks won’t move the needle. If Verses shows their technology is superior to other AI systems currently being utilized, you better believe the needle is going to move. It will lead to hundreds of millions in financing ($90 million already secured as an option for G42), and an epic increase in SP.
Also. just because you haven’t heard details about the public beta, doesn’t mean it isn’t happening. The companies involved are likely under NDA. Public doesn’t mean “open to the public for everybody to see”. It means it’s not being held by private invite only. “Public beta testing” means companies are welcome to apply - NOT everybody can join in and use their tech for the world to see. Do you really think they’d let just anybody join in to share their code and see their trade secrets?
Furthermore, the short report mentioned one patent from 2021 that hasn’t come to fruition. But they failed to mention all of the following. Seem like shady obfuscation of truth to you? It does to me:

There is no evidence the private beta has been ongoing for 7 months, or that there has been a failure to deliver. The private beta wrapped up, and 12 days later G42 invests with the intention to obtain an ownership stake in Verses… So we could believe your baseless assertions of a “dog and pony show” and “fail to deliver”… Or, we could extrapolate, that the private beta must have been successful, and G42 noticed… which seems more likely?
Per SEDAR+ filings.
“On November 3, 2023, the Company held a webinar for private beta partners to demo select Genius capabilities. Each of Nalantis, Blue Younger, Cortical Labs, SimWell, NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and Volvo Car Group partnered with the Company pursuant to the private Genius Beta program. Each private Genius Beta partner voluntarily agreed to participate in the Genius Beta program and the only compensation that was exchanged between the Company and each partner was the opportunity for such partner to learn about and use Genius and its associated products and services. Participation in the private Genius Beta program was subject to customary confidentiality and non-disclosure terms. Each private beta partner participated in the Genius Beta program for an initial period of 90 days, which term may have been extended by mutual agreement between the parties.
On February 15, 2024, the Company entered into a non-binding letter of intent (the "G42 LOI") with G42 Capital SPV RSC Ltd ("42"), which set out terms of: (i) a US$10,000,000 private placement of convertible debentures and warrants in the capital of the Company; (ii) the introduction by G42 to the Company of certain pilot transactions in Abu Dhabi; and (iii) G42's option to invest up to an additional US$90,000,000 in a subsequent private placement of securities of the Company. Certain transactions contemplated by the G42 LOI were formalized on closing of the G42 Financing. See "Financings and Share Issuances" below”
The Private Beta has been going on supposedly for about seven months now, and was originally said to have ten users. They failed to deliver on that, and was reduced as the company make it clear that these testers wanted a white glove approach. To date, there have been no additional private beta testers that we're aware of, and even worse, no results mentioned.
This summer's planned Beta was revolved around the public, and so where is it? Its been over a month now, and not a word from any developers on having access to this next gen form of ai. I believe that's because the webinar was rushed, as the company has been under the spotlight of short reports that have nailed it with some of their research findings. If public developers had access to the SDK, we would have heard of it by now. When the webinar came out, they showed the timeline as having less than half a product available at the moment while the rest is under development. The developers they showed on the webinar presenting their findings was a complete joke, and showed us all that they barely have a functional calendar assistant, which is a far cry from what's been advertised in the past. At that point I understood fully why the company has spent millions upon millions of dollars on penny stock promoters over the last year.
As for the benchmarks, they're late just like everything else, and won't help move the needle, IMO. Nobody has taken this company seriously to date for a reason, and I think those reasons are quite obvious. Those with G42 have so much money to throw around, its actually quite possible its a dog n' pony show to make US regulators believe they're backing US companies and have moved on from involving themselves with the Chinese. Notice too how we haven't heard of a single update about these supposed smart city plans, and how Verses is involved.
How do you come to the conclusion: “years away from any sort of adoption”? Per their filings, a private beta testing has already taken place Q4 2023, and Q1 2024 may potentially be ongoing. According to their latest webinar, we should start seeing benchmarks within the next few months. If the benchmarks are expected in months, a viable product is not “years from adoption”. Why did the G42 invest right after the private beta testing? 🤔
Verses could warrant an investment in the near future, but I was wrong to believe that they would be a quick riser and disruptor in the industry. Even more importantly, I was wrong to believe in the co-founders, as they've been promoting something that's a minimum of years away from any sort of adoption, and the company's spending heavily on penny stock promotions should have been a big enough red flag for us all. The company went from pandering to Open AI, to getting their foot in the door with G42, which is now heavily promoted as a major backer, despite the US having issues with their shady dealings.
Now I say it could warrant a small investment at some point, because there's always a chance that a new type of method, such as the one they're utilizing with active inference, could eventually have some use. Even if I'm very skeptical of any sort of future use as an individual AI assistant, there is some potential with enterprise level customers. Such an investment would be high risk, with a potential high reward, but its worth noting that LLMs and generative AI aren't going anywhere anytime soon, and in fact their AI actually utilizes generative AI from a conversational standpoint.
I get some of the enthusiasm from the co-founders to a degree, but honestly it feels like we were all being led down the path of believing that this was right around the corner, which it is certainly not. GIA was a fiasco, and a real let down. Fast forward a year later, and on the 20th of June the company held its webinar, which many of us believed was the official launch of the public beta of their Genius platform of AI. Now more than a month later, despite showing on the website that the Model Knowledge and Reason part of Genius are available now in "Public Beta Preview", I'm not sure that a single developer outside of their web of influence has gained access to the SDK since June 20th, but who knows. At least I haven't heard of a single developer gaining access and giving a testimonial of the software. Sounds about on par for the course, though, eh?
Right now everything seems to revolve around the company's relationship with G42, as that's heavily promoted. Honestly it feels as though the company is mailing it all in at this point in the hopes that they'll get bought out so they can cash in their shares and call it a day. Given what we've seen to date with their product, or more precisely what we "haven't seen", I believe that could take a hell of a lot longer than anticipated.
On the company's Genius link, they at least got something right with the line "The Future is Fuzzy".
Indeed, it really is.

There will have to be a huge funding round in preparation for release to the general public, unless Verses AI gets taken out...It has been speculated that they expect $300-400 million in revenue beginning next year.
Dan Mapes response to a post about Active Inference AI on Linkedin..."Great analysis,Matt. The SDK for Active Inference AI from VERSES AI is currently in beta with NASA,Volvo and others. We should have a more general release in Q1 2025..."
The $1.5 billion investment by Microsoft in G42 is actually at the behest of the Biden Administration...And the $10 million investment in Verses AI also comes as a result of the US gov't,after the result of the EU trials...Verses advancements are well beyond anyone else...The Defense contractors are well aware of Verses by now,and the reason the US gov't is getting actively involved.
How do you know its Dec 9-15? Any link?
Thx
first they said august sept now its dec jan this turd is going nowhere
The last and most important benchmark takes place Dec 9-15.Results should be January at the latest...If they hit their targets, then we see where it goes from there...Public Beta will be over, and proof of efficiency has been made...The endpoint has been reached
Verses AI is the only company with the answer to the power problem and usefulness to industry...Verses will be worth trillions..

The real risk with AI is when AGI becomes a thing, which is years out. It likely won't come from LLMs either, and so the risk you have with LLMs at the moment is revolved around the bias developers that create the code and programming. That bias has been at the forefront of many issues, but its not a threat per se. The real dangers of AGI are that you will have a cognitive approach where it'll be able to think on its own, have a knowledge base that's real time, and if some like Verses company hope for, it can share its knowledge with other agents.
The so called morality of AI and those that have their hand in it are called AI "ethicists", which are basically atheists that will have the final decision of an AI's bias, and decision making of what's right and wrong. AI ethicists also have a tendency to promote everything DEI related, which should be unlawful on a state and federal level.

Verses AI...the only true AI company
If I ever needed a quick confirmation that Verses was a train wreck, and likely remains as such, they just released their FINS for the year, which included some updated nuggets that they kept completely silent about.
Page 44 and number 26 on the items list of their FINS.....
In May of this year, an independent contractor was awarded 6.3M from Verses and Cyberlabs, on which Verses has set aside the entire amount in its quarter. In addition, nearly 3.6M in damages and expenses are supposedly to be paid by a subsidiary of Verses, Cyberlabs, and both co-founders of Verses. Considering both co-founders of Verses are involved, I can only imagine that Verses, or more precisely its shareholders will be footing the entire bill one way or another unless the co-founders made out big with those book sales.
Completely agree, with tech it’s not all that uncommon to have founders who come out of nowhere and kill it. But the stock promotion was a huge red flag for me.
While I understand that this is a big market, you have to deliver something that investors can hold on to. When your raising millions and diluting investors while paying out promoters and you still haven’t delivered your product, their are going to be torches & pitchforks coming for you.
Anyone remember this news release about GIA, and remember listening to both founders talk about it as if it was coming out to the masses last summer as a personal agent? If GIA wasn't the very definition of Vaporware, what is?
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/verses-announces-next-generation-ai-135900909.html
I'll admit that I was wrong about this company.
I wanted to believe that they had a real product that would amount to something significant in the AI space, but was mistaken.
I gave them a second chance after GIA was a huge letdown, but after watching the latest webinar I knew it was a huge mistake believing in this company's management and giving them a second chance as they barely had half a product on the timeline, and were essentially showing us all that they had come up with a calendar planner, or at least part of one.
Dan Mapes is a co-founder, but has literally disappeared from the radar since last year, and there was never a reason given why. When he did speak, he would ramble on and on about evolutionary BS, and I'm actually surprised that George Gilder recently supported the company, as he doesn't believe in the same ideals.
All I ever hear about on the forums is how they're close to getting contracts, and yet we never heard updates on..... well anything. Not with the supposed rollout of Wayfinder, BlueYonder, or the pharma contract that was hoped would ultimately lead to a nationwide rollout. To make matters worse, the company added enterprise level beta testers and act like they're partners, while at the same time pulling logos from the site as well as news pieces and social media posts. Its just a complete clown show at this point, and I finally get why they spent so much on penny stock promotional services.
"US$350 million at an anticipated post-money valuation of US$3.5 billion"
Verses granted the Investor (or an affiliate of the Investor designated by the Investor) the right, but not the obligation, to be the lead investor and invest up to an additional US$90 million in a subsequent private placement of securities of Verses to raise aggregate gross proceeds of up to US$350 million at an anticipated post-money valuation of US$3.5 billion (the “Financing Round) whereby the Investor (or its affiliate) shall receive a 25% discount (based on the lower of US$3.5 billion and the actual valuation of the Financing Round) on its potential investment in the Financing Round.
No doubt, it was downright horrific.
If the company should amount to anything in the future, it'll likely be because of Hari as he seems like an asset.
If it proves one thing, its that putting together a work force that's entirely made up of remote workers rarely pans out.
I just watched that "live" webinar and omg, it was awful. Hoping we get another spike so I can get out of this without losing too much money...
G42 quietly backs Verses AI with 10M investment
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/verses-announces-us-10m-investment-134100915.html
So basically, Microsoft is quietly backing them as well, as they just poured 1.5 BILLION into G42 while taking a minority stake in the company. Its G42 that happens to be backing Analog and Alex Kipman, and saw Verses announced immediately as its first partner. Kipman is also an advisor to Verses. I can't help but wonder if G42 was also part of the 10M funding that just closed.
It shouldn't come as a surprise, however, as Verses and Microsoft were partnered on the FF2020 program, which includes the autonomous compliance of drones and other smart city connections. Directly or indirectly, Verses will be working with Microsoft, OpenAI, and others on the upcoming smart city projects in the Abu Dubai region.
G42 has been scrutinized by US regulators as they have done dealings with the Chinese in the past, and that's why G42 has shifted their focus and ended dealings with the Chinese. Microsoft was quietly working behind the scenes through the end of last year to pour big money into G42 and its subsidiaries, and that was before the announcement at Davos that Analog was formed, with Verses becoming its initial partner tied at the hip.
Your theory would definitely explain a lot of what I see then.
I believe that Intel has major support, and likely funding from the US government to create a massive amount of fab production capabilities over a seven year project.
Its mostly about the political waves in Taiwan, and the major implications you'd have if China does what it claims it will soon do in taking over the island nation.
I think most of your fab production is based in Taiwan, and while I have some doubts that a war would ensue, I can't even fathom the amount of $$$ China would make off tariffs for the chips alone. They could literally cripple entire industries that rely on these chips if they desired, and that's just not an option.
Wrong, but what else can be expected.
The company already laid out the timeline on expected final vote of the standards. It was a few on the message forums that thought they could dig and find an actual date, but in the end were incorrect. The standards will be approved, but there's a process it must go by, plain and simple. The company came out with the official announcement of the Beta release and webinar because investors were antsy to know if it was still on, and now have a limited window of opportunity to sign up for the Beta if they should so desire.
They added a countdown timer on their website, meaning that they must feel very confident in what they plan to show to the investment community, and those interested in development of agents.
Looks like they made a 1 month premature announcement in order to distract from the standards vote that didn't happen. A month ago that was all verses pumpers talked about , now its all quiet about the "vote" and instead the current subject is the public beta.
I wonder how the narrative will change in a few weeks.
Good ole Verses , make noise, set a deadline, go quiet , then set a different deadline.
VERSES Announces Genius™ Public Beta Preview and Webinar

Why ChatGPT is the Last Gasp of the Machine Age
https://www.gilderreport.com/why-chatgpt-is-the-last-gasp-of-the-machine-age/
Nasa likely chose Verses as its cognitive agent solution to reaching out to ancient Cydonian tech and attempting to communicate with it in the near future. JPL had taken photos of Mars decades back where the CIA was attempting to gather intel. The CIA used the Stargate program to remote view Mars a million years back to gather as much intel as possible.
Yes, they've had more promotional services than I'd like to see, especially of the type that do very little.
I understand that they want to get the word out about the new methods revolved around active inference, but the way they've gone about it has produced limited results to date, IMO.
Hopefully that changes for the better, and we start to see the stock price reflective off those changes.
Respectfully, your argument is a legal one. A disclaimer in your videos most likely protects you from being sued. In my opinion.
However, do you really believe in this company? if so you must own 10s of thousands of shares. If you don’t then all you are doing is trying to hype a stock you don’t personally own or own much of.
Anyone who highlights a penny stock WITHOUT disclosing the extreme risks, in my opinion, is misleading the public.
There are numerous entities that tout the potential of lower-priced stocks but never tell the audience the risks associated with them.
Having invested in lower priced, unprofitable stocks for over 30 years, many never make it or investors get extremely diluted.
However, the ones that do can offer extremely life-changing opportunities.
So I’ll say shame on me 1st. I made a few assumptions looking at their filings about where their marketing was going. I spoke with management a few months ago but the person I spoke with was more on the technical side (not finance or accounting).
My issue is there is ALOT of money going to people that don’t look like they are adding much value to the company.
VHLA media got $110k (that’s a rough conversion from CAD)
“This communication is a paid advertisement and is not a recommendation to buy or sell securities. Its owners, managers, employees, and assigns Black Swan Solutions Inc, DBA VHLA Media Inc has been paid for by Verses AI Inc. (the “Company”) CAD$150,000 for an ongoing marketing campaign including this article among other things. This compensation is a major conflict with our ability to be unbiased”
And
Real Creative Agency (who appears to be einstock here on I-hub) is being paid 10k per month. Here is a quote from his YouTube disclaimer.
“VERSES Technologies is an extremely high-risk investment, and it is HIGHLY LIKELY you can LOSE YOUR ENTIRE INVESTMENT.”
My problem with people who post videos claiming they have found a company that has solved AGI (or the cure for cancer) and then throw a disclaimer out there where they think no one will look for it is it is a pretty crappy thing to do. It feels scammy.
Most importantly this is a small public company. They should be spending money carefully. The amount of money spent on these two stock promoters alone probably would have paid another programmers salary for a year. These “influencers” are putting out a handful of videos that at best have 1-2k views.
Don’t believe me check the description for VHLA Media and real creative agency YouTube videos.
I’d love to know if either of these promoters own shares in Verses & if so how many shares?
Since the company doesn’t have open source software it is hard to know if what they are selling is what they say it is. None of us can really look under the hood, and yes I understand that Karl Friston is their head scientist (he adds a lot of credibility). However, Karl Friston is not a software engineer. By December of this year we’ll know if they have what they say they have.
All the best (& Happy Tax Day),
