So one would have to dig through the original bankruptcy documents and figure out who got screwed over and for how much as they are likely ahead of VGTDF holders. Which I will assume nothing left for VGTDF which explains share price. Ive made worse buys LOL

I am known basher 15 years now. I have seen 100os of scams of every sort. I am not sure how you classify this as a scam. The pump here on the confusion of the real divvy already paid for VTGGF. sure that was a scam but the company itself which is not even a company is not a scam.

the actual bankruptcy may have been scammy but VTGDF is just a file nd as I said no employee no operations

you are dead wrong. this divvy is VTGDF - read the link this is not VTGGF. I agree and I argued that the $40 divvy was not to VTGDF and many still hyped it. VTGDF received $40 per share of the 650,000 shres of VTGGF ( The note) and now have cash and have now declared in a very obscure document and non sec filing that they intend to distribute some of the cash. They have by law issued a notice to any debtors which there may or may not be. I would think all debtors were looked after 5 years ago.

The div was for note-holders, NOT common shareholders.

I thought it was pretty clearly explained then, as well as on seekingalpha in the comments, on the day of the '$40 div announcement'.

here is the thing. VTGDF has not been required to file anything since I believe march 2016. I as a shareloder of a lotto ticket here would like to think that it has the 650,000 shares of VDI and also received its divvy from VDI aka VTGGF per the filings and news of the divvy. But in the absence of any information on the status of VTGDF we are really left in the dark.

The best info we have are in the filings of VDI where they show an entity called Vantage drilling Company owning 650,000 shares which corresponds to the last info we had when VDI merged from Banruptcy and allocated the 650k shares to the predecssor company VTGDF.
