A Nuclear 9/11. It Could Happen.
Al-Qaida is racing to acquire a nuclear device.
They want to detonate it in an American city.
A Newsmax report goes inside the effort to stop them.
A Hiroshima-sized nuclear device smuggled into the U.S. inside a cargo container detonates in California's Port of Long Beach, killing 60,000 people instantaneously, exposing another 150,000 to deadly radiation, touching off massive fires and forcing the evacuation of 6 million panicked people in the Los Angeles basin.
Could it happen?
Top experts say it not only could happen, it is "more likely than not" to occur within the next several years.
Last month the Obama administration admitted that al-Qaida is frantically trying to acquire a nuclear device.

I just got off the phone with TD Ameritrade. I talked to the MM and found out the VLYF reports to both the Black Board and pink sheets. He said Black Bored has stricter requirements (filing, fees).
This is a great sign that this company is commited to making this a long term company and not just some diluted pink sheet stock.
After that phone call I got transfered to the broker and sold my Berkshire Hathaway shares and bought more VLYF

Scanner sales heat up at Valley Forge
Valley Forge Composite Technologies Inc boosted its sales during its fourth quarter and full year, as it began marketing its cargo- and body-scanning systems.
The company reported fourth-quarter revenue of $2.88 million, up from $315,000 in the previous quarter. The net loss was $319,572, or zero cents per share.
For the full year ended Dec. 31, Valley Forge posted revenues of $3.2 million, compared to $132,000 in 2008. Net loss was $2.03 million, or 4 cents per share, versus a net loss of $1.84 million, or 4 cents per share, in 2008. Operating loss fell to $1.46 million from $1.64 million the previous year.
In March, the company announced the first sale of its THOR-LVX scanning system for cargo to the Federation of Malaysia.
“After seven years of product development, we are finally at the goal line,” said CEO Louis Brothers in a news release. “We anticipate that income from sales of aerospace-related products will be sufficient to finance ongoing capital requirements for 2010.”
Valley Forge (OTCBB: VLYF), based in Covington, also manufactures and markets the ODIN Full-Body Scanner. Brothers said the company will begin full-scale production and marketing of its products in 2010.

VLYF 2009 Annual Report
Form 10-K
http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1332412/000102317510000100/valleyforge10kdraft4910clean.htm
Very encouraging and I do not see any major red flags. Forget all the cover-your-ass statements. Microsoft’s early annual reports probably said all the same sort of things. Cash flow is accelerating and they have enough money in the bank to finance the company for “23 months.” The two founders still hold 68.4% of the stock and have yet to sell a single share. Unlike most high-tech start up companies, the executives and directors are VERY modestly compensated and don’t have any company paid country club memberships. Evidently they are looking for some significant appreciation of their stock. Also important for us share holders, they don’t have a lot of outstanding warrants, given out in the early years in lieu of cash and as stock incentives, and no options, which would dilute our holdings, and are internally financing the growth until THOR sales start.
Highlights:
…The Company believes that THOR will have a competitive advantage over other products in the industry due to its specialized particle accelerator.
…The Company estimates that it has at least five year’s advantage over any competition who may attempt to build and bring to market a system of similar size and function.
…To the Company’s knowledge, only the THOR system can generate the necessary power levels and return signals to accurately determine the amount and exact chemical nature of explosives, drugs, or other illicit material in a sealed container in a commercially viable manner. According to multiple laboratory tests, the system effectively penetrates concealment media and performs to 99.6% accuracy.
…THOR can be fully automated including the scanning and analysis…meaning that no human operator is required for data interpretation, and it can be operated from a remote location.
… The Company expects (the) Final Project Report (from Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory) will be issued in the second quarter of 2010.
…The Company believes that the ODIN is the best available personnel screening device and is more accurate and more efficient in detailing weapons and other contraband than any known competitor’s product. ODIN is currently being tested by several potential clients…
…Between December 31, 2008 and December 31, 2009…We recorded sales of $3,202,815 from the sale of various products in 2009. We anticipate that income from sales of such products will be sufficient to finance our ongoing capital requirements in 2010.
… Management intends to finance our 2010 operations primarily with the revenue from product sales.
…As of December 31, 2009, we had approximately $1,492,135 in cash remaining.
…At this rate, and barring any material changes to our capital requirements, we anticipate being able to sustain our operations for twenty-three months...
NOTE 18 – SUBSEQUENT EVENTS
The Company has shipped approximately $4,500,000 in product with a gross profit of approximately $600,000 from January 1, 2010 until April 8, 2010
…Other than for general operational and payroll expenses…the Company’s day-to-day operations are not expected to change materially until such time as we obtain the necessary government approvals to commence production and then the delivery of the first commercial THOR devices or sales orders for any ODIN units.
ITEM 11. EXECUTIVE COMPENSATION
Louis J. Brothers: $134,308
CEO, CFO, Chairman of the Board
Larry K. Wilhide: $ 100,131
Vice-President Director
Director Compensation: $3,000 in cash and $5,760 in stock.
..The Company has 55,223,544 shares of common stock issued and outstanding as of March 31, 2010. The table below assumes and projects the exercise of all Class C, D, F and G warrants, which raises the issued and outstanding shares upon such exercise to 60,180,690 shares.
Not a bad idea.
Sounds good.
Thanks Andy
Momentum wheels....
Are basically gyroscopes and are used to provide axis stability for satellites.
While the sales are good in their own right they are nothing compared to ODIN which is the eclipsed by THOR.
Since VLYF doesn't appear to be diluting shares (good for us!) by raising capital to fund their R&D efforts, possibly the growing momentum wheel sales are funding the development of ODIN and THOR.
Can you or anyone else give a explaination of what Momentum Wheel Products are and what they do.
Thanks Andy
Good for a 7.8% increase.. better than the bank interest..
Good news but chicken feed.
$4M is a rounding error in THOR's potential.
It is time for somebody (DHS/Livermore?) besides VLYF to say THOR is the greatest thing since sliced bread. My gut tells me it is close.

Body Scanners Debut At Cincinnati Airport
The Transportation Security Administration will debut new airport body-scanner technology at the Cincinnati Northern Kentucky International Airport today.
The airport in Hebron will receive some of the 150 machines bought with money from the federal stimulus package signed into law by President Barack Obama last year. Other cities which are getting or already have the body scanners include Chicago, Boston, Fort Lauderdale, San Jose, Columbus, San Diego, Charlotte, Oakland, and Kansas City.
The scanners uses low level x-rays to create a two-sided image. The scan can detect hidden metallic and nonmetallic objects such as weapons and explosives without physical contact.
They're controversial because the image they create makes a person look nearly naked. Officials at CVG says the scanners will be optional for passengers-presumably, anyone who turns down a body scan will be subject to other searches. Officials say the faces of passengers are blurred on the scanners and the scanner technician does not have any direct contact with the public, in order to protect passenger privacy.
Deployment of the machines was announced in the fall, before a Nigerian allegedly tried to blow up a Detroit-bound airliner on Christmas Day with explosives concealed in his underwear. But that event highlighted the need for additional security in the U.S. aviation system.

Wow awesome post John
VLYF vs MSFT
As I previously posted, the potential for VLYF is mind boggling. Put in more realistic assumptions and the numbers go crazy.
Nevertheless, here is an interesting comparison:
Microsoft went public in March 1986 at $21.00 per share. Since then it has had nine stock splits, the last being a 2:1 on February 2003. One original share of MSFT is now 288 shares.
There are now 8.77B shares of MSFT stock and insiders control 12.2%
At today’s price of $29.59 each original share of MSFT is now worth $8,522, an appreciation of 406 times over 24 years.
According to my projections, at today’s price VLYF has the potential to exceed that much appreciation in 5 years. Or less, if there is ever a container incident any where in the world. Given the state of the world, maybe a “when” is more appropriate. In some scenarios I have run, it is 2-3 years. (They’re coming to take me away, ha-ha!)
HOWEVER, don’t believe me. Run the numbers yourself. Compare the Price/Sales, Revenue/Share, Diluted EPS, etc. numbers. It is hard to believe but VLYF’s potential blows away MSFT.
When the powers to be give the “Good House Keeping Seal of Approval” to VLYF and countries start buying THORs, this stock is going to explode.
Let nobody ever say I didn’t tell you so.
Understand thanks for the info. I picked a little more up at 2.25 good to see it come back a little.
Profit taking from the short term traders.
VLYF was a bit over-bought.
It is actually good and healthy for those of us in for the long haul and provides opportunity to increase our positions.
NOTE:
http://stockcharts.com/charts/gallery.html?vlyf
that VLYF hasn't even had a 3-point reversal yet in the current run-up.
It doesn't get too much more bullish than this.
HUGE is actually low!
I used $5M in my previous projections, posted.
However: “The scanner is expected to retail for $8 million to $10 million.”

$13.50 was previous high.
VLYF went public at $2, almost three years ago, and then practically straight up until it hit $13.50. Then it went in the tank when people realized the potential was years away.
The years have finally arrived.

BTW, I'm mostly a 3 point reversal trader and VLYF blew through its long term and previously confirmed resistance line.
BTW John the stock never hit $13.50 , at most it was in the 5's for a day or two.
Hold your horses.
DOE, or whomever, approvals will be required only for the US market, of which Lawrence Livermore Labs said:
“…The potential market for this technology is huge; the U.S. market demand alone is approximately $2 billion per year for hardware and $2.5 billion for maintenance and support services.”
Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories, 2005 Annual Report
The total world market is at least double that.
My guess is that the approval process in the US will be longer (and entrenched opposition, like GE, greater) so they will concentrate on foreign sales first.
The nimrods in the DHS probably won't do something until after a container incident.
Regardless, when you run the numbers, $10 is nothing.
If the answer is yes this is a $10+ stock IMHO!
IF VLYF is able to sell the THOR , can we assume the DOE has approved the THOR as safe and effective ??? This is the BIG question that needs an answer! IF the answer is yes ...... WOW
HUGE POTENTIAL!!!
Since we finally have an announcement, let’s run some potential numbers on VLYF.
Let’s ignore ODIN, which could be big in its own right, the growing momentum wheel sales (almost $10M last year), and whatever LOKI is.
Just THOR.
Assumptions:
1. THOR sells for $5M, even though I’ve seen some speculation that it is higher.
2. Lawrence Livermore Labs (a whole bunch of PhD types) said the ongoing maintenance and support activities are worth even more than the sell price but let’s be VERY conservative and put it at $1M/year/THOR.
3. Let’s assume a very conservative g.m. of only 25%. Most likely it will be much higher, especially until such time as there is any competition.
4. VLYF seems to operate at a very low overhead. How they are doing what they are doing I don’t know but let’s assume it is a particular management style and will continue. (The two founders haven’t sold a single share of stock and are drawing very modest salaries.)
5. Fully diluted, there are only 60,805,933 shares of stock out standing.
......................................................................Stock Price
YEAR...#sold...#total...Revenue........EPS......@PE15....@PE40
2010........5..........5.........$30M........$ 0.12-------$1.85------$4.93
2011.....100.......105.......$605M.......$ 2.49-----$ 37.31---$ 99.50
2012.....150.......255....$1,005M.......$ 4.13-----$ 61.98---$165.28
2013.....200.......455....$1,455M.......$ 5.98-----$ 89.73---$239.29
2014.....250.......705....$1,955M.......$ 8.04----$120.57---$321.51
2015.....300....1,005....$2,505M......$10.30-----$154.49---$411.97
And that is only about 1/2 the US market in 2015.
Based upon the huge potential of VLYF, I’d venture that in the early years the leading PE will be up in the 40 range, or even higher, but then will fall down to the 15-20 range after a few years.
“…Valley Forge Composites Technology, Inc., an accelerator-based device to detect hidden explosives in luggage and cargo. The explosives-detection system is based on a small-scale electron accelerator developed by Lebedev . HUGE!
Nice order announced. More to come!
John, I think you might be on to something. Posted huge gains already today. Hope it continues.
Start of next surge?
With no new news, that I can find any way, any ideas on what is pushing the stock up?
Also note the spreading Bid/Ask.
Regardless, VLYF is building a good base for the next surge up.
still here and still in.....
Solid day here. Alot of the volume over $2. Sweet!
Something going on...
Over the last few days, notice the volume increasing and the bid/ask gap narrowing?
Any ideas?
I'm here but in a rest period after spending a good number of hours researching VLYF. I think VLYF is in a rest period too before the next announcement. Hopefully it will be on THOR.
In the interim, VLYF is building a nice base in preparation for the next move up.

Valley Forge is involved in the homeland security industry. They have two significant products that they are just bringing to the market: ODIN and THOR.
ODIN is an ultra low radiation, full body scanner. Unlike other scanners on the market, ODIN can detect an under ware, ass, vagina, or breast bomb. ODIN sales will be starting any time.
As good as ODIN is, the real action is for THOR which is neutron beam scanner. It is the ONLY device in the world that can reliably scan a sealed cargo container.
However, there is also their satellite flywheels

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories
2005 Annual Report
Capitalization: 52,448,787 shares of stock + 8,357,146 warrants where the exercise price for most is well under the current stock price. If all are exercised, that would result in only 60,805,933 possible shares, a very small number for an OTC stock as well as one in this industry with these products and potential. Management holds 62% of stock and neither of the two principals have sold a single share, despite the price peaking at $13.50 after going public.
Ignoring the satellite flywheel sales, and the balance of this year, in 2011, if ODIN sell for $500,000 and THOR for $5M, then only 200 ODINs and 100 THORs would be $600M in sales in 2011. At only a 25% g.m. that could result in $150M in earnings (low overhead - evidently they outsource everything) which is a fully diluted $2.46 per share if all the warrants are exercised.
At the Aerospace/Defense Products & Services industry average PE of 14.2, that puts the share price at $34.93 in 2011! There are no equivalent competitors, as most are conglomerates like GE ($177B in capitalization with a PE of 15.4)
FLIR is probably the closest.
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/ks?s=FLIR
It has a capitalization of $1.5B and a PE of 22.3.
If VLYF ends up with a similar PE, that puts the stock price at $74.85 in barely over a year!
Higher sales, profit margin, or PE could easily push the price to $100 or higher. Especially if there is ever a container “incident” some where in the world.
As Lawrence Livermore said, the market for THOR is HUGE.
WHEN, not if, there is a successful under ware or ass bomb or container terrorist incident in the USA, this stock will rocket up.
This stock is also an excellent take over candidate. GE, which doesn't have anything as good as ODIN and nothing that can compete against THOR, and won't have for maybe 5 years as the THOR technology literally came from a Russian WMD lab, could easily buy VLYF for $25/share.
Technical perspective. Everything is a go.

Megaports Inititive
DOE/NNSA and CBP are jointly implementing the Secure Freight Initiative (SFI), the goal of which is to scan 100% of U.S.-bound containers with radiation detection and imaging systems at select foreign ports. The Megaports Initiative provides radiation portal monitors (RPMs) with Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology, communications systems, and integrated RPM/imaging data for CBP personnel at SFI ports.

“In 2004, work began on a project to develop and evaluate an explosives detection system for use on checked airline baggage and cargo. The project is a collaborative effort between five Russian institutes, Livermore, and Valley Forge Composites of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. The explosives detection system is based on a small-scale accelerator developed by P. N. Lebedev Physical Institute, the lead Russian partner. The device analyzes gamma radiation resulting from photonuclear reactions in explosive compounds. Livermore engineers will be evaluating the accelerator and system performance.
“Through these projects, the Russians learn what it takes to launch a Western-style commercial project. They’re also understanding the need to keep costs low to stay competitive,” says Lesuer.”

National Nuclear Security Administration - Initiatives for Proliferation Prevention
The National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) and its predecessors have taken nuclear terrorism seriously for more than 25 years. A national capability to assess the credibility of nuclear threats resides within NNSA’s Nuclear Assessment Program, Vantine said. “Since the program began in 1977, we have assessed the credibility of more than 75 nuclear extortion threats, 30 nuclear reactor threats, 20 non-nuclear extortion threats and nearly 1,000 cases involving the attempted illicit sale of alleged nuclear materials,” Vantine told the panel.

OTHER APPLICATIONS
Given that Board Director Dr. Victor E. Alessi is also a Director at Lightbridge Corp (LTBR See: www.thoriumpower.com ) and it appears a thorium reactor needs one (or more?) THORs to initiate and keep the reaction going:
THORIUM REACTOR
In nuclear physics, an energy amplifier is a novel type of nuclear power reactor, a subcritical reactor, in which an energetic particle beam is used to stimulate a reaction, which in turn releases enough energy to power the particle accelerator and leave an energy profit for power generation. The concept has more recently been referred to as an accelerator-driven system (ADS). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Energy_amplifier

Is thorium the answer to our energy crisis?
It could power the planet for thousands of years, the reactors would never blow up and the waste is relatively clean. So is thorium the nuclear fuel of the future?

Also, evidently one of the “side benefits” of an ADS reactor is that you can also feed it plutonium waste and it will neutralize it!

RPM2 Inc.
RPM2 Inc, a New Delhi, India based company, represents Valley Forge for all VLYF related security products. They are in talks with several major airports in India as well as the Bureau of Civil Aviation in New Delhi to bring in the ODIN. Currently, discussions are ongoing with the AERB in Mumbai, for demonstration dates and for formal approval.
FROM VLYF WEBSITE
John, did you ever see this : ??? seem like it is safe to assume that the article you posted is speaking of VLYF ....
Final Discussions with the Republic of IndiaOctober 16, 2008 -- Mumbai, Kochi, and Delhi airports in India are in final discussions with RPM2, Inc. and Valley Forge Composite Technologies (VLYF.com), to test and evaluate ODIN, the personal scanner from VLYF, and are anxious to move the project forward. RPM2, Inc is also in discussions with the Civil Aviation Bureaus of several other countries, who are all interested in upgrading their systems to ODIN.
With regard to THOR, RPM2, Inc has initiated dialogue with 14 of India's major ports to be a part of the CSI compliant ports worldwide and are waiting to hear from them. Along with the 14 ports, RPM2, Inc has written to the Ministry for Shipping and Road Transport and Highways for the installation of THOR. The Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR) is also being kept in the loop as far as THOR is concerned, from the point of increased security. RPM2, INC has presented both THOR & ODIN to the security committee in charge of the Common Wealth Games 2010. Additionally, RPM2, Inc is in discussions with Indian Railways as well.

125-200 scanners are the prize in the great full body scanner competition.
Anybody know if VLYF and ODIN are participating?
I'll bet that it will happen this month. The question is, what will that do to the price? The future earnings are HUGE.
I have over 100K shares and I'm looking for $25 in 12 months. A bit longer, $75 is not unrealistic. (See my previous post where I run the numbers.) If there is a container incident, then $200.
Or for GE to buy them out at $50.
anyone out there a long term share holder or Private placement purchaser??
