Looks like former management team member Bill Burbank
is in some serious trouble. Running a ponzi scheme with the stock CHVC? Sec has made a mint off former voip, inc employees lol.
http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/07/27/us-sec-investigations-idUSTRE76Q2NY20110727
It was really funny when Volkswagon picked up the old Voip, Inc. symbol VOIC and the price reflected that. VoIP, Inc (VOIC) had been taken off the board as a dead Cataldo company prior to that occurring.
Have to wonder if there was even one naive investor who thought the company might have rebounded on their patent suit news or the razrclick assets.
First 6 months of 2010. Tony Cataldo did not:
at VOIP: Do anything
at GSTY:
1. File 10K for year 2009. Didn't even file a 10KNT like he did at VOIP,and MTCH before he defaulted on 10K.
2. File 10Q for first quarter nor any other furthter 10Q or 10K filings since.
at MTCH
1. Announce that the Matech loans due 12-31-2009 had gone into default
2. Announce that the Matech Co-CEO had "left the company" in March 2010
3. Announce that the company had zero sales
4. Make the 10K filing for year 2009
5. Make the 10Q filing for first quarter 2010.
What Tony DID do in first 6 months of 2010.
at Voip : Nothing
at GSTY : Nothing
at MTCH:
1. Filed a 10K NT promising he would make a 10K filing in 15 days (which he didn't of course).
2. Issued 5 "puff press releases" about how several states needed Matech technology for bridge cracks between 4-1-2010 and 4-15-2010 while "someone" dumped hundreds of millions of Matech shares in April 2010.
He also :
3. Went on to star in a TV reality show named Danske Hollywoodfruer (claiming to be a guitarist in band Chicago and a "successful" movie producer) where he proposed to his girlfriend, the new Mrs. Cataldo as of June 2011.
4. Found time to produce with his son Cory Cataldo the movie "Mad World". Check Youtube for the 2 minute 10 second trailer. Be warned, there are 7 F bombs in the 2 minute trailer if that bothers you.
Here is one reviewer's take on the movie:
I’m not sure if I can put into words the absurdity that is Mad World…but I suppose I will try. To say that it is an embarrassing film would be quite the understatement. I haven’t seen acting THIS bad in quite a long time. The plot appears to be barely held together, and a lot of the scenes are strewn together with little to no thought. What stands to be a confusing and hilariously bad first half turns into an epic and chaotically brutal second half. I’m talking male on male rape, incest, murder…the proverbial works…none of which is at any point compelling or thought provoking, but instead positively convoluted and painful to sit through. The script to this should have been burned upon completion. I feel like if Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris had survived the Columbine shootings, they would have wound up writing this screenplay. There is one scene in particular where two boys are arguing in a garage exchanging some of the worst dialogue ever conceived amidst saying “F***” between (literally) every other word. This is quite the cinematic gem, a movie SO bad that I was brought to tears on several occasions…both from laughter and absolute sadness for the art of film. Props to Matt Aull for sitting through the second half with me. (2/5)
Another Cataldo Cinematic Masterpiece.
I guess we can see what things were important to Tony in first 6 months of 2010 and which ones weren't.
Ha ha
Good stuff there. Wonder if he referenced any of Bloodhounds "material" for that report lol.

Nice post about Mr. Cataldo. Wish I saw something like this before VOIP :(
CEO /Chairman Tony Cataldo. . Anyone heard from the "esteemed" leader?
Two terms for ya ..... Razrclick and patent lawsuit handled by Ball Law Firm.
just another Cataldo fantasy ... Can you say guitarist for band Chicago or "successful" movie producer?
Hey its worth a try maybe someone will honor the shares. I would ask for a Client Service Representative that invested in Tony Cataldo stocks to handle the sale.
Tell them you thought it was a reverse merger.
(TIC)
if only my old voic shares can convert.....
Interesting it appears that Volkswagon has picked up the old VOIC symbol. Don't anyone get confused and start celebrating.
Suit dismissed?
Hey guys.....it's been awhile.....was just looking at my investments the past 7 years and remembered how much $ i lost with voii voic whatever symbol they had....
I came across this while doing a little research on the various lawsuits voip inc. is in:
http://amlawdaily.typepad.com/02162011voip_dismissca.pdf
Any lawyers/paralegal can tell me what this means?
What is the best way I can stay up to date with the status of voip's lawsuits vs. goog? what is the avg time patent disputes get dismissed/settled?
i'm guessing this is a lost hope to recover some of my losses, since there are many creditors in front of a silly uninformed shareholder like me....
Keep us informed bloodhound.
I'm all ears.
runncoach, TC has "upped the ante" and made a big mistake this time. More later.
Hey bloodhound,
What's TC up to these days?
Thanks. As always, you two guys are great.
Not that I know of:

This is Linked in Profile above
There was an 84 year old Robert "Bob" Staats that passed away in November 2010 in WV I think. It wasn't this Bob Staats.
How many people do you know that have both their first and last names spelled the same forward and backward?
P.S. Bob is one of the very few Cataldo "fellow workers" that I really like.
Yeah its more common than you think.
He would be the one in Orlando though, if the obit came from there its possible I suppose. Hope not, he seemed an OK guy. At least he had the guts to post on this site after all the crap hit the fan.
It doesn't. Someone told me they saw his obit.
I don't think it was the same Staats.
The name is not that common, so I thought.
Apparently, there are quite a few people by that name.
Generic
I must be missing something. Where does that link say anything about him dying?
Another former Voip, Inc charged by SEC
Looks like Bill Burbank will be fighting charges.
http://sec.gov/news/press/2011/2011-101.htm
3 years later About Time we got an update from Ball Law Firm on their 1 billion dollar plus potential lawsuit don't you think?
http://www.zdnet.com/blog/ip-telephony/voip-inc-lawyering-up-for-massive-click-to-call-patent-infringement-suits/3216
Although specific dollar amounts for the suit are not specified at this time, the VoIP, Inc’s press release quoted attorney Byron T. Ball as saying he believes the current value of this Patent could exceed #1.25 billion dollars.
Yeah Right!!!
bloodhound
thanks for the heads up. I'll have to follow that one too I guess. I noticed the original CEO here had some interesting filings at company he now has a relationship with Quamtel recently. Seems the CFO left after a month for some reason.
runncoach Here is the latest Tony Cataldo now CEO of GNBP another company with no sales.
Amazingly the stock is now $ 1.25 a share.
The fact that the presnt management team resigned as officers and directors ,turning the company over to C Cataldo dowesn't bode well.
Also the 2 old officers apparently took Consulting advisory positions only at $ 3750 a month and $ 2500 a month. and each cancelled 1,500,000 shares of stock they owned.
Why would anyone do this?
1. Because latest influx of $ 600,000 stipulated that none of that money was going to pay officers, or directors?
2. The bubble is about to burst and wholesale sale of 3 million shares mighted have attracted SEC attention?
3. The Directors and Officers Policy was soon to expire?
4. With Zero sales and having invested $ 250,000 of their in OXIS stock maybe the old officers didn't want to explain there results at a stockholders meeting?
Look this over and see what you think.
My guess is stock is down dramatically over near term.
We'll see.
Also at "THIS" New Company our boy Tony is only 58 years old.
"Deader Than a Tony Cataldo Discard".
New term for companies with zero hope.
"Deader Than a Tony Cataldo Discard".
New term for companies with zero hope.
Blast from the past?
Maybe some remember. Ahh the good old days.
http://otccapitalpartners.com/b/
a Chapter 7 for CEO/Chairman Tony Cataldo at Matech MTCH
http://investing.businessweek.com/businessweek/research/stocks/snapshot/snapshot.asp?ticker=MTCH:US
Probably the "least surprising" news of the day.
well he has cahsed out millions at this new venture as a "Consultant"
I am amazed the SEC has not refered him to DOJ for criminal yet, but maybe they have
makeamint
I did some DD on that just last weekend just for kicks. Seems Ivestor is doing alot of buying and selling website adresses these days as well.
Follow a trail to Steven Ivester and Atomic Guppy and you may find a lot of VOIP assets
Bob Just wondering what you have been up to.
I am still keeping up with Tony and telling the truth about him.
Here is a quick summary of Tony in 2010.
This year besides getting divorced, devasting Matech, pink sheeting Green Street Energy GSTY, "running " OXIS, and getting engaged on a reality show to a Danish lingerie model, and bragging about his exploits as a guitarist for the band "Chicago", Tony also claims he is a successful movie producer and lo and behold he and his son Cory did "find time and money enough" to produce the Movie "Mad World" in 2010.
An accurate count shows 7 "F-Bombs" in this 2 minute 10 second trailer for this Tony Cataldo/Cory Cataldo "blockbuster"
MAD WORLD.
Ha ha
Pretty good bloodhound. I followed the mtch debacle through you guys. Still can't believe all that went down there. Guess I better check the Oxis board and see if I can learn anything new. Never would have guessed he "played" guitar for Chicago lol.
run coach what have you been doing
Tony has pink sheeted all his companies excspt OXIS
I think I may have just the firm to repesent the retail stockholders of Tony Cataldo headed companies.
Its in the right category and I feel somewhat appropriately named to look into Tony's dealings.
http://www.nyclasslaw.com/
what do you think?
probably not. but i know you guys know all the voip companies, insiders and connections. so that's why i asked.
Generic I don't know but I don't believe it is the same company.
One more Time!!
VoIP, Inc. Launches ”RazrClick,”
Author: Travis Filed under: GeneralThursday
Feb 21,2008
Earlier this month VoIP launched RazrClick a Pay Per Call advertising
service. Now for those of you who may not be familiar with pay per
call, it is a form of advertising similar to PPC with the exception
that with Pay Per Call the advertiser will actually get a phone call.
This
is basically how it works. The merchant defines his relevant keywords
or terms and chooses the desired vertical or category. The advertiser
can set up Geo Targeting with most providers to really get granular
with the market and delivery of their ad. After the campaign is set up
you can create the ad containing your pitch or company name, address, a
description of your service or goods, and a toll free tracking number
that will reroute to your phone and allow you to track your potential
sales calls.
One clear advantage of Pay Per Call over Pay Per
Click is the click fraud that is rampant in Pay Per Click is currently
not an issue with Pay Per Call. Even though Pay Per Call is just
getting started, it is projected that by 2009 the Pay Per Call revenue
in U.S alone will top 4 billion dollars. Advertisers pay
on average $8 to $10 per Pay-Per-Call considerably higher than they
might pay for a typical Pay-Per-Click
ad. VoIP, not only intends to capture a share of this Pay Per Call
market with the release of RazrClick, they intend to capture the whole
thing. They claim that they have the only existing patent for the
technology and plan to aggressively pursue any infringer’s.
“There are many companies that are providing Pay-Per-Click
advertising. However, after careful research and consulting with
attorneys we believe we have the only patent in this space,” stated
Anthony Cataldo, CEO VoIP, Inc. “We intend to aggressively pursue all
infringers so that our shareholders can reap the benefit of the value
this patent affords the company; additionally we believe that all
providers of this type of advertising/technology are directly
violating our patents.”
Anthony Cataldo was also quoted as saying
“We have identified over 100 companies that have willfully infringed on our
patents. We intend to stop the infringement and defend our technology and the
patents behind it. These patents and the business they represent will be
utilized to provide the shareholders with the value they deserve and have long
awaited,” stated CEO Anthony Cataldo. “Citing case studies, in reference to
Click to Call, from Fortune 500 companies such as Continental Airlines, the ROI
was 50x cost of service. The service showed a 35% lead conversion rate twice
that of traditional leads and reduced website abandonment by over 25%.”
It will be interesting to see how this plays out. In the end regardless
of the patent, I believe that Pay Per Call will offer a great
additional solution to a well rounded marketing campaign.
check out Facebook for danske hollywoodfruer and there are plenty of photos and if you can post one where he has hand on leg of Inez that would be great.

I still like how they cite that study about Continental Airlines. I posted a link to that study over a year before that PR when questionning why the company couldn't actively market click to call to businesses lol. Blast from the past is right.
On a side note, I'll call you "the man" if you can find us some links to Cataldo's appearances on the Danish reality TV series lol.
Time for one of you stockholders to get an update from the Ball Law Firm on the 1.25 billion dollar patent infringement claims they were handling for Voip and Tony Cataldo, as well as the profits earned by subsidary Razrclick.
wait a minute are you telling me that the management of this company did something unethical. i am appalled. or as my friend Chester A. Riley used to say
"What a revolting development this is!"
Thanks Wester
Had not seen that.
court news link, fwiw.
And no, it's not the Billion Dollar Ball Law Firm Settlement . lol.
http://www.tradingmarkets.com/news/stock-alert/voii_enforcement-proceedings-district-court-enters-final-judgments-ordering-a-civil-penalty-against-def-934474.html
http://www.sec.gov/litigation/litreleases/2010/lr21499.htm
Yeah
I bet he checks everyday lol.
wonder if Tony ever gets by the UPS mail station to see if the Ball Law Firm has sent any of that 1.25 billion patent infringement money they were suing for or if the Razrclick profits have been stuffing the VOIC mailbox.
Its been 675 days since Tony Cataldo filed a 10KN-T at VOIC and disappeared failing to file the required 10K here. That is 231 days longer than the 444 day Iranian hostage crisis.
What a guy! What a guy!
That's some funny stuff Wester
but then again sad too I suppose.
