... 09:06 AM EDT, 03/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Universe Pharmaceuticals (UPC) said Thursday it will consolidate its shares on a 1-for-40 basis, effective March 24.The company said its stock will begin trading on a post-consolidation basis that day on the Nasdaq stock exchange under the same ticker but with a new CUSIP number.Universe Pharmaceuticals said its $140.6 million authorized capital after the change will consist of 11.25 million ordinary shares and 1.25 million preferred shares, both with a par value of $11.25 per share.Shares of the company were down more than 13% in recent premarket activity.

I just calculated $UPC Book Value......it's about $25/share.....granted the financials are not current, but still.....she's trading at 200X less than Book Value: $25/.125 = 200..........pretty insane

Either is a dog but ............we bought in so we must pay what is coming. CNS just R Sed and it is down more the $1.00 since the reverse. TNXP reverse split 2-3 weeks ago and is about $4 down from the RS. I only remember one....GMGI....that recovered and went up in very sort order.

RS COMING...If the Company fails to request an appeal of the Delisting Determination by February 5, 2025, trading of the Company’s ordinary shares will be suspended at the opening of business on February 7, 2025, and a Form 25-NSE will be filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, which will remove the Company’s securities from listing and registration on The Nasdaq Stock Market.
The Company is considering all potential options available to it to regain compliance with the aforementioned rules, including seeking shareholders’ approval for a reverse stock split.
