Wall Street slumps following US downgrade

US stocks fell sharply on Monday, in the first session after S&P downgraded the US long-term debt late Friday, as investors continue to seek for refuge, leaving riskier assets. Despite a brief bounce, US stock indexes hit session lows after S&P downgraded the debt of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the 2 troubled mortgage finance agencies.

The Dow Jones industrial average fell 282 points or 2.47% to 11,162. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index lost 36 points or 3.06% to 1,162. The Nasdaq Composite Index dropped 81 points or 3.20% to 2,451. The Nasdaq was more than 4% down at one stage while the Dow was over 3% in red.

In the FX market, the Greenback is mixed in its classic risk aversion pattern, weakening against the Franc and the Yen but strengthening against most other currencies. Crude oil fell to a fresh 8-month low at $82.52 while gold soared to a fresh record high around $1,715 an ounce.

Dollar Yen recovery from 80.50 lows on Monday reached fresh 5-week highs at 81.50 and the pair turned lower on Dollar weakness after the release of weaker than expected US Non-Farm Payrolls data giving away weekly gains in a matter of minutes, to test 80.50 support area.

Below 80.50/55 (Jul 4 low/day low), the pair might find support at 80 15/25 (Jun 24/30 lows) and 80.00 (Jun 17/22 lows). On the upside, resistance levels lie at 80.80 (previous lows), and above here, 81.40/50 (day highs) and 81.80 (May 30 highs).

The Yen has advanced across the board on risk aversion after NFP figures. EUR/JPY retreat from 116.80 day highs extended 100 pips lower to 115.85 low, whole the GBP/JPY retreat from 130.00 area spiked down to one-week low at 128.85, to pick up afterwards, reaching 129.50 area on early US session.

its showing under EA when I go to TERMINAL

It should be placed with your other TEMPLATE files in MT$ or the program will not be able to locate the file.

I had to create a seperate blank folder under templates, open up the EA program I downloaded, copy and pasted the program files to the new folder under templates....

OPEN the MT$ Metaeditor and see if your EA is showing on the right side under TEMPLATES. IF so great, if not save it there until it shows up.

There is a tab on the top that should say TERMINAL. Click TERMINAL and see if your EA is now showing on the left side under expert advisors.
