Twin Vee Powercats Inc. (TVPC)

Twin Vee was originally founded in 1994 with the aim of refining the power catamaran hull to perfection.  Using a distinctive experimental prototyping process, Twin Vee has developed twin hull configurations that slice through waves, wakes and choppy seas cleanly, while maintaining speed and direction.   As we have grown and evolved since that time, we had the following key milestones in the development of our business:

  -founded in 1994 in Miami Florida 
  -1994-1997 designed and produced small lake and bay boats from 10’ to 16’
  -1998 moved to Port St Lucie , Florida 
  -1998 introduced 1st  22’ offshore OceanCat  
  -2000 introduced 1st  26’ offshore Oceancat 
  -2002 Introduced largest power catamaran  in marketplace  32’ offshore OceanCat
  -2003 company built new facility in Fort Pierce, Florida (current existing location) 
  -2004 Twin Vee was sold to Stonehenge Capital
  -2004 designs and introduces the largest recreational PowerCat 36’ center console
  -2005 the Company had a record of 40 new Dealers 
  -2005 Twin Vee  produced 700 boats for the year year (approx. 3 boats per day) 
  2007 Greatest Financial Recession since the Great Depression , approx. 70% of all boat manufactures closed or went into hibernation. 
  -2008 filed for re-organization
  -2010 Twin Vee reopened its doors and began doing business with a few dealers and 10 employees
  -2012 –acquires rights for the 35’ Mamba Hydrofoil Hysucat 
  -2013 10 dealers and sales increasing to 50 boats per year, no marketing 
  2015- finished year with 68 boats produced, 8 small dealers and $5.1 mil in sales, no marketing, no brochures. 
  -January 2016 Twin Vee acquired by Joseph C Visconti
  -April 2016-  began overhauling the factory, manufacturing process' and modernizing the Plant 
  -2016-2017 Visconti invested $1.8 million into factory modifications, updates, New tooling, new molds, CNC machines, technology, marketing, dealer Development 
  - 11/2016-  Twin Vee Installed a 120-foot Overhead crane to lift and move molds, hulls, caps, large boat parts through the lamination department, saving time, creating efficiencies and a safer work place
  -july 2016-  1st CNC 3 axis purchased, CNC department set up and Company begins to design and manufacture its own small parts. 
  -February 2016 2nd CNC purchased, Rotary CNC, used to cut all upholstery and fiberglass sheets, offering exact sizing of material to perfect the build process of a boat that requires cemetery and balance. 
  -November 2016 – Company re-introduces the best-selling OceanCat 260- rebranded as the 260 SE, 260 TE, 260 Exuma 
  -March 2017, Company purchased an industrial grade 35-foot overhead five-axis computer numerical control (“CNC”) router to manufacture high quality plugs and molds to help bring new boats to market  in less time, better efficiencies and dramatic costs savings. 
  September 2017, Twin Vee announces its new line of GF or  “Go Fish”, center console boats, appealing to a larger demographic of people that fish recreational and professionally. 
  -May , 2017 Twin Vee hires Dan Mielke, Naval Architect  to design a series of New Offshore PowerCats, starting with the New 23' CC "center console" and the 23 DC "dual console" OceanCats
  -September 2017, Twin Vee announced that it posted a 76% increase in revenue compared to the same quarter the previous year.  
  -November 2017, Twin Vee announces its partnership with Dr. Guy Harvey and Guy Harvey Magazine to create the “Ultimate Green Fishing Machine”, recognizing Twin Vee’s boats are environmentally-friendly and the best option in fishing on the market today.  
  -December 2017, Company has record backlog of 48 boats, including a (10) boat order for $1.7 Mill from a single dealer. 
  December 2017, Company should finish year with approx. $7.8 mil in revenue and produced over 120 boats.
