It's a cast system!
You are either in or you are out. While the social differences may vary from my own, I recognize that people are people and no two people may be fairly judged by the actions of another. I do not believe for a moment that Shiva Prakash represents the people of India any more than I believe that my sentiments and behavior represents the American people. We are people first and then we may set ourselves aside with distinction depending on our integrity and judgement and moral compass and accomplishments.

In the case of Mr. Prakash, I am not altogether certain that he had never intended to succeed, however, in looking back on his performance it may be difficult to deny. Could have been bad luck, wrong place at the wrong time, not smart enough, or he just is not a very well grounded person. Ya think!
We all figured that there was merit in the Tivus technology and business model and certainly Shiva fed the dreams of investors looking for a bottom play to meet or exceed all bottom plays. Right up to the NDA conference call he almost looked as though there were a chance. But that was the straw that broke the camel's back, or cow's, or whatever. The last video is but a sad joke, a mockery showing a man who is beaten and holding a whole bunch of A/S he would dearly love to dump. And there we have it.
We all need to get on with our shows and get out there and do a better job of sorting out the cons and make some money. That is what I am doing and it helps me forget people like Shiva Prakash, at least to some degree. I'll be watching for him though. If he shows up with another scam, fertilizer business or what ever, I will be on him like stink. LMAO

We all got snookered. Certainly not the first time for me and no doubt neither the last. It was the product presentation and all the puffery that sucked me in. But I have other ones in my history where the sucking sound drones out anything I am hearing in regards to my TIVU position. Those are from before I put in some hard and fast rules about just how much I would allow that sucking sound to suck out of my portfolio. An $800 loss is manageable and only 20% off of my max for this kind of fishing. So that shows that I did have some confidence in our sleezy little con ASK paper hanger. It was a long shot and I knew it, but I just didn't really think that he would have been quite so slimy. LOL
We never have enough information in these markets to know much beyond the standard fair of rhetoric. Look at Zuckerberg and all those "BIG BOYS" that got sucked into near 50% losses as greed drove them crazy. Just count your blessings that you weren't either able too or willing to fall for that 100X valuation IPO. Oh my!
The picture Shiva Prakash painted was very pretty. Perhaps he even believed it himself. I watch that last video of him though and I kind of wondered how often he may have gotten out of his pajamas and brushed his teeth. Actually if you watch it a couple times it appears as a satirical comedy. But that is the nature of the game we play with so many losers and scammers lurking about. I'd suggest not beating yourself up about it too hard and just try to learn from it what you may and work on your game. This is a tough game we play. Think about where you may possibly find your profits. Think hard on it. And I wish you every success in putting the Shiva effect behind you.

Well, I missed the mark here with that misplaced post and as I was thinking about another cluster where investors have been and are being mislead. I should request that it be removed as it does not belong here. However, perhaps it isn't so bad realizing that the markets we trade in are perilous and it is very important for us as traders to seek out credibility with other sentiments and backgrounds for those in the companies and touting its wears. Clearly TIVU was a mismanaged comedic attempt to sell shares for income as the business could not show verifiable progress.
I grow weary of trying to alert others to dig deep when they may be looking at a con ASK paper hanging scam. It is interesting trying to see if anyone will stand up for the CEO or the company with anything to be found of significance showing real value. The Shiva conference call, the A/S 3 billion share increase and that interview he did tell it all, the guy can't be taken seriously in my book. Very unprofessional and certainly not smart when it comes to the things that will provide investors with confidence.
So there we have it, the end of another wonderfully presented stock position where investors have apparently been duped and made the fools of they so much deserve for having done a lousy job of qualifying sentiments and facts. And that includes me and I certainly know better. I just take a higher risk from time to time so as to test different waters. Glad I wasn't doing a high dive with an overloaded boat and full bags. Reminds me of one of those Coast Guard films off the Columbian coast!LOL
