You know who is a big time assclown: SPORT19
New corporate presentation up!
https://titanmedicalinc.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/Corporate-Presentation-January-2019-1.pdf
Makes no sense yet!
I've only seen the one from Estape.
It's just so hard to figure. Surgeon feedback was overall very positive. Prostatectomy surgeon called his experience with sport remarkable.
Ugh..
Are there some unpublished white pages that I missed?
Makes you wonder why Columbia hasn’t chimed in doesn’t it?
Good point. I also worry about filling another raise....
Are we gonna lose investor confidence?
The hole keeps getting deeper. Cost to commercialization just more than doubled.
November CC everything looking great, surgeons said we nailed it....
Less than 3 months later February CC redesign of nearly all components to some degree...
That's some major bullshit Rock!
The only issue at this point, from my perspective, is the almost 0% chance of any warrants coming into the money in the next 10 months.
Take a deep breath the 41mm always only got us to commercialization you knew they would need more beyond that.
Let’s hope your wrong about the engineering problems and they get this improved this year and sell it before we need the additional 50mm.
It sucks but it is what it is now.
Verb
It's on SEDAR. MD&A.
Milestones for 2018 total $41 million and they estimate a minimum of another $50 million beyond 2018 to submit and commercialize.
IDK I'm starting to think there are real engineering problems with SPORT.
Scratching my head.
Is that on Sedar. The PR doesn’t say that
WTF is the problem here?
Holy shit we are going in reverse.
$91 million!
Just as a sector play we should be up 10 percent minimum today.
It will happen
I'm not expecting much of a bump from TRXC approval, hope i am wrong. Hopefully we get good news this week.
Keep the rally going don’t tell the wife’s!
Please trust me in this.
I really think your right. Funding, however they play it shouldn't be a problem. Even on the OTC.
If they can wait until the PPS can get higher, dilution will be far less and will ultimately have far less of a negative impact on PPS. Who knows maybe even some warrant money.
I also think maybe some serious talks with potential partners now.
We've got the goods.
What a relief..,...
We’re on our way now fellas!
Did you see how well this doctor sutured!
Unreal in a less than a days time.
Game changer
This is what we needed. Validation of the platform by respected robotic surgeons at the top of their field. A world class facility with capabilities to create video and multi media presentations at any time.
No longer a mystery. It's for real.
Shouldn't have a problem getting funding now.
Great day!!
Yessir. Wonderful day in Titanville
Something for the board to look at. Found it while looking at the Markets....
Medtronic Details Plans for Surgical Robot Launch -- Market Talk
Today 10:51 AM ET (Dow Jones)Print
10:51 ET - Medtronic (MDT) says it is hoping to complete the development of its experimental surgical robot tool by year end, and to record "material revenue" from the product in fiscal year 2019. On an earnings call, MDT executives said their main strategy will be to convert traditional "open" surgeries, where patients are cut open with scalpels, to a minimally invasive approach aided by surgical robots. "If we can shift open surgeries to minimally invasive surgeries, that's a $10B prize without a single new patient," one MDT executive said on the conference call. (jeanne.whalen@wsj.com)
BK....could we get your thoughts on the current state of things in Titan ville? This Patel situation has me most concerned!
New base shelf prospectus on SEDAR. $80M raise over 25 months.
AGM and special meeting on sedar. June 15 in Toronto
On the Titan website under sedar is the short form base prospectus for 80 million us.
Haven't read it yet
And they haven't announced the additional funds from the over allotment.
Should be any day now
How is money out in June? Aren't operating costs about 1.2 millionish right now?
McNally is probably smart enough to realize you do not wait till the month before to raise operating income. It is Mid April. Money is out in June.
that means raising cash would makes sense right now.
At least it makes sense to me no to scramble in mid May
With the last two base shelf prospectuses, Titan sold the maximum offering and then issued a new base shelf prospectus when it was sold all the way through. So yes, I expect them to issue a new one before the next raise.
Good question.
Does Titan have to file a new shelf registration before another offering?
I assume yes?
Regarding shareholder protection plan:
Could company X possibly have Board Approval to acquire as many shares as they want and the remaining minority/majority interest would have to approve the price in the case of a buyout? So whether company X had 21% or 75% of the OS, the remaining shareholders holding 79% or 25%, respectively, would still hold significant negotiatiing power?
Lots of possibilities. At the foundation of our investment lies a beautiful piece of technology that most people can't comprehend until the game is finished. We all see the potential. None of us clearly sees the path forward, but our intuition tells us something doesn't add up. All we have is a large mass of circumstantial evidence.
I think it ranges from a buyout, to some sort of deal that will blow us all away as repayment for our loyalty to the process(which has been very painful). I personally believe Verb's vision is the future. Whomever claims to be the nidus for its evolution should stand to reap the most financial benefit. I hope we are near the core.
I can see with clarity the links here. The question remains - how does this all come together and make money for shareholders?
Also very interesting timing of Ximedica acquiring Bridge Design a couple of years ago. "Our design partners at Ximedica____". Plausible deniability.
I've always dreamed that some of the units built have been at Bridge and Verb has been working on them. Just a dream...
So the thought is that this is the liver surgeon who was so anxious to use Sport to get to hard to reach places ?
I've checked the patent history and the links between bajo and Goldman with Irep and titan through fowler are
Everywhere. Do you think titan has given both people and parents to verb or temporary lease waiting for purchase ? Thank you!
Ken Drazan @ Grail and on board of directors at Verb. Former liver surgeon at Stanford.
Roger Goldman @ Stanford listed on IREP patent
Does this liver surgeon work with the surgical fellow who has a Sport patent?
Just made sense of this thread. The Stanford liver surgeon knows the resident/fellow on the Sport patent. Correct?
New SAB member.
Dr. Litwin trained in General Surgery at the University of Saskatchewan, and completed a hepatobiliary fellowship at the University of Toronto. He was an early pioneer in laparoscopic surgery, having performed the first laparoscopic cholecystectomy in Western Canada in 1990 and the first laparoscopic colectomy in Canada in 1991. He was a leader in educating a large number of surgeons across Canada in basic and advanced laparoscopic techniques. During the early advent of minimally invasive surgery, he innovated new laparoscopic approaches to the spine and aorta, and he participated in the development of HandPortTM, a hand assist device for laparoscopic surgery. In 1993, Dr. Litwin became the Director of Minimally Invasive Surgery at the University of Toronto. In 1997, he moved to the University of Massachusetts as Chief of Minimally Invasive Surgery. Since 2004, he has been Chairman of Surgery at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and UMass Memorial Medical Center, one of the largest Academic Health Sciences Centers in Massachusetts. There, he continues to practice minimally invasive surgery of the abdomen in addition to his administrative role.
Thanks Rock!
Ahead of schedule....keep the updates coming!!!!!
Don't argue with idiots because they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
Agreed. They were a couple of tools. But I really like the way McNally presents himself and always has very good articulate answers that are on point.
I hope he keeps doing everything he can to get us exposure. Why not a video clip to show during an interview????!!!! Play it while they are talking. Those guys would've been wowed by that visual, and so would most people.
