Not even $200 for the day.
It does not take much, as you can see, to revive
some interest...
No news in a long long time.
We will all Watch a little closer, eh?
g.p.
Some light trading, these days, nothing to
get excited about.
Highest volume just over 100K shares, a few days ago.
Will Watch but not expecting much from what I considered
inactive or defunct. Shell?
g.p.
Surprised to see action here, this week.
I consider this a complete loss.
g.p.
This huge trade shows that Tissera is still in business (LOL).
No, some MM must be sending a message. Eighty cents worth of stock is not really trading.
I've given hope on this one, a big loser for me.
g.p.
why is this trading? 400 shares at 0.002
Still the same, even with this extraordinary trade of
nearly $60 this AM.
g.p.
Haven't heard anything significant in about 3 years.
Forget this one.

Hello,
What is the status of this company?
thanks

TSSR +82% .006 > .024 eom
Platinum Partners e-mail confirms they bought in and are willing to provide some funding based on data supplied by the CEO of Tissera. We shall see??? If their web-site comes back to life and the press releases start rolling again, it will be wonderfull. Since very few ever bother to read this board, my news will probably go unnoticed, but I tried to pass along what I could for anyone interested. That the least I can do.
It would be nice if someone could put this information in the I-Box. I sent an e-mail asking if this company plans to help fund Tissera's future research activities. If I get a response I will try and post it here.
SC 13G/A for 5% or more ownership Feb 16, 2010 by Platinum Partners Value Arbitrage Fund LP, a multi- strategy hedge fund with approximately $730 million its under management
Thanks. No, I don't think Tissera is dead either. They just need some funding to continue on.
whoever acquires 5% or more of shares has to report using SC 13G/A. I see it a sign of some activity in the company. its not totally dead.
Perhaps if you were to explain briefly what the SC 13G/A represents, it would help make my day perfect. Thanks
Perhaps, and it's just a perhaps only statement at this time, something may be coming regarding some sort of funding? There are rumors but nothing more. Going to keep an eye on this one now for a while. Let's hope we see a press release announcing something positive very soon. The volume today might suggest somebody knows something.
There were 14 trades and good volume BUT all around 2:30PM, within 30 minutes.
You aint alone holding!
g.p.
Good Volume today. Hasn't seen volume like that since beginning of August. Hope it means something but wishful thinking I guess???? I hope they get something going soon, I've been holding them for a long long time.
Would depend on the amount of the grant and what Tissera submits to qualify. IMO
B, I'd be surprised but one never knows.
Would a grant change that much?
g.p.
Well, it's a true fact now. Embryonic Stem Cell Research Funds from the U.S. Government are now available to companies that apply and can qualify. Let's hope Tissera can qualify for a grant or two.
I have been told that a portion of that 5 billion is allocated to Stem Cell Research companies. All they have to do is show just cause and apply.
Not sure if Mr. Eiran, CEO of Tissera, is aware of this newest opportunity to possibly secure funding. I will prepare an e-mail and send him what information I have gathered.
Our current president made many speeches assuring voters that he would provide much more government funding for Stem Cell Researh if he became president. Tissera Inc. was in full swing with their research but began to run out of money before they could start testing their theories on humans. Animal research with stem cells proved somewhat successfull.
Like I posted, Tissera must provide assurances that they have the knowhow to be successfull in continuing this research.
"Seems to be assured" based on the urgency of finding usefull medical help using Stem Cell technology.
Would be nice if true. How do you come to the conclusion that funding is assured?
(I could not see anything in that link that directly linked us to any fund.)
g.p.
Thanks for the info. Mr. Eiran, CEO of Tissera, has an open door to funding now. All he has to do is apply for a grant/grants. He must show, however, that Tissera is worthy and should receive funding. Tissera must provide some very positive assurances that the funding will result in a successfull outcome. IMO
I'm a little disappointed that we did not receive an update yet. Perhaps soon now that funding seems to be assured.
Obama announces $5 billion for new medical research
http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20090930/hl_nm/us_usa_healthcare_obama
That's a good estimate for starters. And positive testing results will certainly benefit all of mankind for years to come. GLTY Should be a pr by the end of this month.
Thats sure. I expect a pps of around $1.5 on the news of funding alone
Well, if my memory serves me correctly, TSSR was around or over $8.00 a share a while back. Obviously, if they get funding, they can continue their R&D and perhaps start testing their stem cell theories on humans rather than animals. Sucessfull testing can lead to some great values in share price, wouldn't you think?
If they get funding, how much you expect the pps will move up?
I was informed by Uri Elmaleh, who once worked for Tissera, that Amos Eiran, CEO of the company, was still trying to secure funding. And if he is successfull, a press release will be issued. That was about three weeks ago. So there still might be a light at the end of this tunnel. Have a nice weekend.
Not holding my breath, B. Last pr was July 14 '08, wasn't it?
Hope you're right, however.
g.p.
I have been assured that when new funds are secured, Amos Eiran, the CEO of Tissera, will send a press release so all who are interested or holding shares will be updated.
They are very nice and thoughtfull people and are willing to communicate. No secrets.
I received an e-mail from a former employee of Tissera yesterday in answer to my inquiry about the current status of Tissera Inc.
Mr. Amos Eiran, CEO of Tissera, is at this time investing a lot of effort to secure new funding in order to get back the license from the Weizmann Institute and to Renew Research and Development with the aim of getting FDA approval for the intiation of human clinical studies.
Lack of funding at this point required the company to discontinue the web-site and to stop issuing press releases.
Pehaps Mr. Eiran will contact our government and provide proof that Tissera has the knowledge and knowhow to a very successfull Stem Cell Research and Development company, providing technology that can benifit mankind now and certainly in the near future.
In all Depends on Mr. Eiran efforts going forward.
Thought anyone reading Tissera might be interested in the latest update.
The report was published in PNAS on May 11, 2009

Only about 2 and a half years for me. Hope you're right.
DHANA link gave this info:
"Embryonic pig pancreas transplant reduces immune reaction
A primate study shows that embryonic tissue from pigs, after transplantation, can grow into a whole pancreas in the host's body. Gil Hecht and colleagues suggest that using an embryonic instead of an adult pancreas helps the host develop the organ and infiltrate it with a network of blood vessels, which reduces the intensity of the immune reaction to the foreign tissue. Pig organs have long been considered for transplantation into humans, but the intense immune reaction and the potent combination of drugs that would be needed to suppress a potential organ rejection have been significant barriers. The researchers transplanted embryonic pig pancreases into two cohorts of two monkeys. The animals were then treated to induce artificial diabetes. In the first cohort, infection set in and caused early death. The authors discovered that their initial estimate of the dosage necessary for immunosuppression had been too high in these animals, and were able to reduce it substantially for the second cohort, which survived nearly a year after transplantation. The key achievement was that the monkeys required virtually no external insulin for four months after the operation. In contrast to adult tissue, transplanted embryonic islets exhibited a marked capacity to withstand stress and regenerate, the authors say.

Well for someone like myself who's been holding since 2004 having patience is an understatement..lol... I hope they take off and do really well now!!
And when Tissera acknowledges the funding, it will be off and running.
