I agree. Warren almost always answers when I PM him. I wonder if he's on vacation.
i just don't understand why if otcmarkets can get it why can't ihub. warren was pretty good at getting the grey market bids and asks done manually but i think he may have tired of that as the last one i sent him has gone unchanged. time for advfn to get on the ball.
ADVFN feed can be problematic in the case of name/ticker changes. RMGX changed its name to Ecrid and its ticker to RMGXD a couple of weeks ago. Somebody--I think Renee--informed the admins of that, and the ticker and name were changed. But a week later, it was still showing no data. I wrote to Warren about it, but didn't get a reply. Just checked again, and it's working properly.
More often, there's no data on the first day of a name/ticker change. But if there's nothing tomorrow, we should bring it to their attention again.
thanks alot.
but back on the topic of off topic, there seems to be a bunch of people on the dolv now jbzy board who are worried that because of the ticker trade, they lost their shares.
and why can't ihub get a data feed for the new ticker?
I am so sorry for you, your family, and Lucky.
it feels like there is a ghost in the house.
I'm very sorry to hear this.
He will continue watching over you and your family, but this time from doggy heaven
Sorry to hear. I hope the 17 years of his companionship cut the harshness over time. I lost a world-traveled canine of a dozen years and that was tough. They move along, but the good memories remain. All the best.
We all know what it's like...
thank you so much, everyone. you have all helped a lot.
So sorry to hear of your loss of your much-loved Lucky. I remember well when my 15-yr-old Sheltie Brandy went back in 2005. I was heartbroken at the loss of a cherished member of my family, as I imagine you are feeling now. I have never quite understood why God gave us the dog as Man's Best Friend, then gave them such a short lifetime and Man such a long one. Perhaps it was so that we could have many Best Friends within our lifetime. I like to think so. . .
Newly
Oh man, sorry to hear that,
I still carry the ashes of my last two in the trunk of my car,
in the car with me right where they'd most like to be.
I'm sorry to hear of your loss.
May you come upon another friend who will love your family unconditionally as Lucky did and for you all to love.
We're just fortunate that we are able to enjoy the time we get with our friends while we have them. I'm sure Lucky considered himself fortunate he had a friend in you...
I know you will miss him for quite some time.
So very sorry.....We're still mourning our beloved border collie.
Now the memories of Lucky and all the great times you had together will help remind you and your family every day how 'lucky' you were to be part of his life. Hold the memories close to your hearts as Lucky was integral to your lives.
All dog (and cat) owners have walked in your shoes so we know the pain when they leave us.
Warmest thoughts your way, friend!
So sorry to hear that my friend. You were also lucky.... to have him as your companion for so long.
Like the loss of a close family member, I'm sure. Very sorry to hear this.
Oh, I'm so sorry. It's hard to lose a member of the family, even though he'd lived a good long life.
You should post a photo of him...
lucky, mydog, died peacefully today at the age of 17. lucky was a herding dog and he did his dog job well. he kept this family together. he will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
Oh yes. I remember a graduate seminar in which a student was giving her paper. The teacher at some point asked her why she believed whatever it was she'd just said.
She explained: "I read it in a book!"
Her graduate career didn't last long.
That thought never entered my mind...
Wonder how long you're going to be able to keep it a free and open board instead of premium.
That would be a graft, right? (-:
The roots have rotted.
Yes. Because we know, patience always pays off in the Land o' Stinky Pinkies.
there is a feeling of getting more sterile and lacking in character or texture.
Typical indications of the slippery slope the country is now on. The rise and fall of civilizations. . .
Newly
. i think history says there is no going back
Unfortunately all too true. While I would love to believe we can 'make America great again' practically speaking, it ain't gonna happn.
Newly
I've bemoaned the fact for a while now that interaction on the net consists of a dry cutting and pasting of links back and forth constitute conversations as if being pointed out to be wrong is a mortal sin. While we're undoubtedly getting smarter there is a feeling of getting more sterile and lacking in character or texture.
The terms "stupid" and "ignorant" are not synonymous.
Today as a species we are smarter than ever. . .and doubtless more ignorant! Amazing how an abundance of ready information on all subjects creates the opposite effect from what one would reasonably expect!
Newly
Part of the problem is that psychologically people tend to put more credence in the written word whether in a newspaper or on the Net. It relates to the old saw "believe half of what you see and none of what you hear". In this day and age we could add "and question everything you read!"
Newly
o.k., you make some good points and duly noted. however, these times are different. things are faster and the easy access to information is strangely making learning a lost art. it is my belief that never before has the percentage of stupid people been higher. i know there are boards for politics so i won't belabor the point but the current political situation not only in this country but in all developed countries is an indication of that stupidity. is there an answer, a fix? probably not. i think history says there is no going back. well, not since the dark ages but they didn't have computers then.
I guess so. But maybe someone will inject new life with a reverse merger.
Yeah, but they've bare sticks for years now. Is that nature's equivalent of .0001 no bid?
They can be slow to mature and produce. Be patient. As if you were Long and Strong on a penny stock.
OK, now wait. I planted spaghetti trees 30 years ago and I'm still waiting for the first crop.
Well said. But I have no objections to young people and their desire to have their own thing, and realize their own interests.
I DO, however, object to stupidity. As represented by the Tree Octopuses.
But I'm not at all sure that's really generational. I'm sure a great many older people would fall for it as well, if it appeared in a publication, or at a site they frequented.
And since the Daily Mail is a UK paper, and has been for a long time, I suspect they found the story funny because of this:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spaghetti-tree_hoax
I remember it from the time. It was just hilarious, and a lot of people fell for it. Be sure to watch the original:
In reply to your post re the generation gap on the Q&A board, I once read an article where the writer was knocking the younger generation as being out of control, immoral, disrespectful, unethical, etc. I thought it was written by a contemporary writer until I got to the end and discovered it was written by a Roman in the last days of Rome! I guess the progression of the generations and their attitudes to one another don't change much -- the older generation always seems to feel the younger generation isn't up to snuff.
My own theory as to why that is is that we become imprinted in early childhood with the values of the world we are born into. As we grow older we express ourselves, often rebelling against those values and establishing new ones for our own generation. We continue to grow and change through about middle age, when it begins to become more difficult to adjust to new attitudes and mores that are constantly moving further and further away from those with which we were originally imprinted.
As we grow old we begin to complain about how the world is changing for the worse as we become less and less able to change with it until ultimate we give up trying and become alienated from a world we no longer understand or can conform to.
That seems to be pretty much the progression of life and the reason for differences of attitudes we have at different stages of our lives. This is the generation gap.

Oh snap! I'd forgotten!!
Because Admin's naked shorting from off-shore accounts.
"...Why does IHub allow BASHERS to become MODERATORS???..."
Oh yes. That's extra special!
there is nothing more rewarding than joining a poorly managed board, documenting the abuses, and then seeing the offending mod removed.
I love it when bashers show up on the board of a decent company (very rare on otc) and regulars get an opportunity to rehash all the positives and negatives about the company.
Increases post count, puts the ticker on the breakout board, and restates all the known DD for the new eyes that come in
Are you sure you understand the term? "Truthers" don't tell the truth.
Yes it is. And it makes boards interesting. One can only read so many TO DA MOON posts without expiring from boredom.
