Wow, looks like he's got a "Chandelier" on the end of his line!
Lake I was on, has a bass "Slot-limit" 14" to 18" may not be kept, only one per day of over 18"...total of 3.
But no limit on Rockbass, those are making a comeback this year.
(Pretty-good eating)
sweet I caught 4 nice Bass yesterday but didn't bring my camera

Alabama sLAMMIN~ "RIG'
Those are awesome Bass, I wouldn't be so quick to release them unless I was hitting them real good.

Sheesh, it wasn't the coil. New CDI "brainbox" ordered. $425, plus $125 labor. Be worth it if it goes another 14 yrs.
GET ER DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My Brother, coming in from Fl, special trip (Vacation) and he "expects" us to be able to do lots of fishing.
....Good thing I took the time to go out that day...otherwise this problem would have happened the first day out. (And maybe we couldn't get the parts...older motor)
who need never know? LOL
If the coil arrives anytime before the 16th-17th, I can have it installed in no time...He need never know.
I pulled out the Ohmmeter, the working coil has a value, the "dead"-coil gets NO reading at all.
sorry to hear that....
I wish I had a boat, too much going on right now to have one
better luck next time
I was checking-out another lake today...about 160 acres, deep as 50 in a couple spots. A pike took a fish I'd hooked. (And the lure and several feet of line.) Overall it was relaxing untill I'd headed back in..Thought I had fouled a plug. Replaced 'em both, still had an issue. I think one of the coil-pacs gave out.
No fire at the top cylinder. Coil on order. Always somthin'.
Artificial worms, and lures
have done well with these= http://www.baits.com/?p=17
Very nice fish.
The bigger bass on the closest lake (Deep Lake, very small) are in the thermocline suspended at about 22ft depth during the day. Jigging minnows just above them works..in the shallows lures get "followed" but usually not struck by the "average fish".
...Foot-longs will hit all day-long on light-jigs with bits of nightcrawler, especially in shadows of the trees. (Kids love it, fish "hook" themselves.)
What are you using for your "Big-Hawgs"?
that's true, I guess he is Lucky like his dad, who caught this 9 pounder the very 2nd time I ever fished= http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=81353565
...Well, sure, why not...LOL.
He's for sure got "Bragging-Rights", I know many PPL that never caught ANY fish of 7 Lbs!
A 7 Lb bass is something I haven't caught either. The 22" smallie (The biggest smallmouth I'd caught) was only 'bout 5 or 6.
(Had no scale, released 'em back anyway)
OMG everytime we go to the lake he has to stop people, and tell them he caught a 7 lb Bass
even the ones jogging= LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
Really nice fish. I'll bet he was Beaming!
My Grandson hasn't "Gotten th' OK from Grandma yet...For the boat..", he's five...but recently I got SEGA Bass-fishin' for the playstation, it should give him some good ideas about baits, lures and presentations. (And "cover types")
Pier-fishing around here sucks.
My brother will be here later this month, we are going to Delavan Lake, here in wisconsin. It's a really good lake for all species, and of late the smallies numbers are coming up nicely.14" to 17" are the average, there have been 22-24" caught in the last couple years.
Pike and Muskies are all over the shallows, some 'o them in the 42" range.
