Ron Paul - The Real Tea Party
Dems need to agree to cut some social spending. Repubs need to agree to cut some defense spending. Both sides need to not only balance the budget but find a way to do more with less.
Posted the 2010 budget chart on the DJIA board.
me again, if not on t.v. fox will lose audience some.

He's entertainment. Does make some sense, but it's just entertainment. Same for Ed Schultz, Rachel Maddow, Sean Hannity, and Rush....all just entertainment.
...But, nothing wrong with stirring the pot once in a while.
My ONLY wish is that all people in politics would follow the same moral/ethic code. I think we should go back to being a Christian nation and I do think we should teach at minimum Proverbs (from the book called the Bible). I think most Proverbs are non-denominational and a good level playing field. If people need to switch out the word GOD to be non-religious so be it. But, without question the best life application lessons. If the Jews or Muslims have a few good "proverbs" toss em in. But, we need a standardized code of ethics and for me, no better place can they be found than in the Bible.

glenn on fox news is leaving this month.
there will always be people on welfare... but is that the biggest financial burden on our tax dollars?... how much did the financial collapse of 2008 cost this country and the rest of the world? and that was caused by terrorists in pinstripes
Lol, Glenn Beck is an entertainer. Just as Rachel Maddow is.
It's all shock and awe.
But, I do believe what that interview showed has some truth to it. Especially when those on welfare are unwilling to contribute to society.
warning: watching Glenn Beck causes brain rot
no one said "government run everything"
but the current crop of GOP and teaparty extremists would like total deregulation and total free market reign... how did that work out in 2008?
I agree that republican polices can cause growth and bubbles.
But, government run everything and government involvement in everything flat lines almost everything.
Point I'm trying to make is Obama needs to stop printing money.
taxes have been coming down for 60 years... back in the 50's the top bracket was 90% if i remember correctly
In 2009 Americans paid the lowest taxes in years, because no one made any money!
wrong... Wall St had it's best year to date... billionaire hedge fund managers pay 15%
"redistribution of wealth" of wealth has been going on since Reagan... the rich are getting richer and the poor and middle class are getting poorer... another myth
Writing in the New York Times, Reagan budget director David Stockman says America's current economic woes are the fault of the Republican party.
"Republicans used to believe that prosperity depended upon the regular balancing of accounts -- in government, in international trade, on the ledgers of central banks and in the financial affairs of private households and businesses, too. But the new catechism, as practiced by Republican policymakers for decades now, has amounted to little more than money printing and deficit finance -- vulgar Keynesianism robed in the ideological vestments of the prosperous classes."
"This approach has not simply made a mockery of traditional party ideals. It has also led to the serial financial bubbles and Wall Street depredations that have crippled our economy. More specifically, the new policy doctrines have caused four great deformations of the national economy, and modern Republicans have turned a blind eye to each one."

And, what was it during the Carter years? :)
Reagan lowered them.
In 2009 Americans paid the lowest taxes in years, because no one made any money!
unfortunately you've fallen for the Reagan myth and the lies of the GOP and tea types
"...for seven of Reagan’s eight years in office, the top tax rate was higher than the current 35 percent. In six of those years, it was 50 percent or more. And every year that Regan was in office, the bottom tax bracket was higher than the current ten percent.
For a family of four, the “average income tax rate under Reagan in 1983 was 11.06 percent. Under Clinton in 1992, it was 9.18 percent. And under Obama in 2010, it was 4.68 percent.” During Reagan’s time, income tax revenue ranged from 7.8 to 9.4 percent of GDP. Last year, it was 6.2 percent and is not projected to climb back to 9 percent until 2016. In fact, in 2009, Americans paid their lowest taxes in 60 years.
Republicans are very fond of saying that the U.S. has “a spending problem, not a revenue problem.” But the truth is that revenue has plunged due to the recession and to continued misguided tax cuts, and revenue needs to be raised to eventually bring the budget into balance. And Reagan knew that taxes were an important part of the budget equation. After all, he “raised taxes in seven of his eight years in office,” including four times in just two years.

Watched Glenn Beck a few weeks ago...
College kids interviewed other college kids...
"What's your GPA?"
...My GPA is 3.8
"Would you sign this petition to give more than a point of your GPA to a student who has a 2.0 GPA?"
...NO! I earned it.
"So, why do you believe in redistribution of wealth?"
...Nothing but a stunned look.
true tea party is right but cannot run for third party.
changes the vote to dems.
ron good fer da people.
obama good fer gold hoards. silver too.
Reagan approach...Tighten money supply, Deregulation, Cut Taxes, Cut Spending.
Obama approach...Print more money, Regulation, Raise Taxes, Increase Spending.
I don't know about you guys but I think we did much better under Ronald Reagan's plan.
Gold also dropped to period lows with Reagan. A sign that there was less "fear".
Gold under Obama...raise to all time highs.
Now, who still wants Obama's Change?
God Bless Ronnie!
Is this a private conversation here? lol....

Not even Bill Gates can buy his way into the big boys club. Wealth is a misleading perception of power.
The only problem is 100 years ago the rouges were easily squashed. Now, you never know who is capable of doing something drastic with so little.
These fundamentalists have no tact to enact change. Just to stir the pot. I believe the NWO has already been in existence since the gold standard was removed...probably before.
Kind of like the Wizard of Oz here.
