Hi,
I own 1700 shares from october 2000.
I discover they have no value more. Is there any chance they have value somewhere today or an other day ?
Who can tell me where to get informations ?
Thanks a lot.
J.V.
Have over 5000 shares of Titan. Own a Harley because it was less, much less than Titan. Wrote Titan two years ago while I was in Phoenix visiting my oldest daughter. Wanted an interview with company prez, no dice. If they are still in business, I want them to have a meeting of investors where we can demand a lowering of the price, a retooling and a new marketing strategy. I'm willing to work for one year at no salary, expenses only, to bring this company back on line. The leadership did not understand the impact of Harley and marketing of Titan (basic cost of bike was too expensive). Anybody interested in getting their money back and then some? If Titan company owners and leadership are monitoring, let's talk. Who would like a challenge? I'll be in Phoenix the last week in January 2004. My cell is 520-940-0161.
I wish I had an answer. I own around 200 shares myself. I believe that the shares have no value now, I hope I am wrong.
Hi, I am a current holder of 300 shares of the old Titan Motorcycle stock. My question is if it is any good and where can I find some info about it. I am very curious since that I have been out of the loop of info concerning until just recently.
Thanks Allen

Motorcycle market roars ahead
By Christopher Bowe in Chicago
Published: April 20 2001 15:41GMT / Last Updated: April 20 2001 21:17GMT
Number one US motorcycle seller Harley-Davidson recently delivered strong first quarter results in the face of the US economic slowdown.
The company's first quarter net income rose 15 per cent. Earnings per share rose 26 per cent while revenue jumped 13 per cent. Shipments of its signature Harley motorcycles were up 10 per cent to 54,154 units.
Harley is not alone. Motorcycle makers have roared ahead in the US market despite the economic weakness spreading around them.
Analysts say Honda and Yamaha of Japan also continue to fare well in the US. A spokesman for Yamaha said overall unit sales - of all types including off-road bikes and street bikes - rose at least 20 per cent in the first quarter this year.
That is not to say that motorcycles are impervious to recession, analysts say. But companies like Harley are seeing only a slight dip in demand.
Dealers' waiting lists for new Harleys have shortened somewhat. According to a JP Morgan survey, an average wait for a Harley in the US is now about 10 months, down from its high of about one and half years.
"Obviously, if things get ugly, they're going to get hit," said Dean Gianoukos, analyst at JP Morgan. "But so far they're doing well."
Harley's strategy is to keep the bike's mystique alive with limited production and waiting lists. Once left for dead in the early 1980s, Harley built itself back up to being a dominant company in its sector, leveraging its rough-and-ready image and powerful brand. The brand is so powerful that the company claims to be the only one that customers are willing to have tattooed on their bodies.
In addition, part of its success has been leisure and lifestyle purchases by baby boomers - now between the ages of late 30s and late 50s - who have also thrived on a booming economy and stock market.
"I have been thinking for some time that Harley would be affected by the plunge in the Nasdaq," said Don Brown, industry analyst at DJB Associates in Irvine, California. "There is no sign of that yet."
Certain factors such as compressed leisure time, favourable demographics, and expanding ridership - particularly among women - have helped the motorcycle industry grow.
"People don't have a lot of time anymore," said Mr Gianoukos. "So it's sort of a quick vacation."
Irrespective of the cloudy forecasts in other sectors, the motorcycle industry expects solid growth. Harley has raised its product forecast this year. DJB Associates estimates overall motorcycle shipments to grow about 11 per cent to 711,000 units this year.

Titan cycles now part of history
Motocycle maker opts to liquidate
By Max Jarman
The Arizona Republic
April 12, 2001
Once highflying Titan Motorcycle Co. of America shut down Wednesday after the Phoenix company's bank refused to go along with a plan to sell the company.
As a result, about 40 people lost their jobs, and the closing ended the six-year rise of Patrick Keery, who with his father, Frank, parlayed a motorcycle repair shop on Indian School Road into a $28 million-a-year company with stock trading on the Nasdaq.
The company filed for Chapter11 bankruptcy protection Jan.9 and elected Wednesday to convert to a Chapter7 liquidation, which means its assets will be sold to pay creditors.
"They paid off the employees and locked the door," said Tom Salerno, Titan's bankruptcy attorney. The company found a buyer, he said, but its largest creditor, Wells Fargo Bank, wouldn't go along.
Marjorie Rice, Wells Fargo spokeswoman, said, "It's an unfortunate situation. We have worked with the company for many months to try to resolve this matter. However, the company has been unable to produce a viable solution in a timely manner."
Patrick Keery quit a California consulting job in 1995 to produce a line of expensive handmade cruisers that quickly gained a reputation for quality and style. But a move to lower-priced, mass-produced models saddled the company with a 120,000-square-foot north Phoenix factory and debt.

FYI to all TMOT'rs:
I pinned down some info from some reliable sources this afternoon, so here's the straight skinny.
Titan is currently consumed, businesswise, with the bankruptcy proceedings. No effort will be put into filling the required end-of-year data, or filing the related N10-K extension at this time.
The appearance of an "E" or placement on the Pink Sheets is a possibility, unless the sale moves along more quickly than expected. For anyone with staying power ( and/or a functional brain ) this presents an opportunity to increase your holdings at possibly lower prices. TMOT being "..halted..", per the rantings of some resident-idiot on other stock board, is ludicrous..!!
The principles at Titan are working daily with their counsel, Wells Fargo, the bankruptcy court judge, and the new investor to achieve the goals of the reorganization plan and impending sale.
According to the discussions and proceedings which have been overheard and observed in the courtroom (..where the TMOT bashers have never ventured..), the solid and vetted investor who is interested in buying Titan has impressed the court that he is serious.
Wells Fargo has also apparently been satisfied to the point that an additional loan will be forthcoming to support operations until finalization of the sale.
Titan's counsel should be filing additional motions next week to formalize all the conditions and agreements to provide a vehicle for the judge to approve same.
There appears to be a reasonable likelihood (..barring Clintwit being sworn back in as President, or Greendspandex being declared God..) that Titan will come out of these proceedings successfully.
If you can afford to hold your shares for the duration and/or average down during these events, the rewards could be substantial. You need to remember that Titan already has a substantial dealer network, so this is not "..me too.." start-up situation.
The TMOT bashers can whine, snivel, burp, barf, throw their hissy-fits, and generally be idiotically obnoxious; the one thing they can't do is kill this company - when the bankruptcy judge wants to see the situation successfully resolved.
Now, "......do y'ar thang......"; but try not to let some mindless bubblehead on Yahoo or RB screw you out of your chance to earn a Super Scooter cheap..!!
I'm in, and looking for bargains......

Appointment of New Directors to Board, Formation of Restructuring Committee
New York, New York, Jan 31, 2001 (Market News Publishing via COMTEX) -- Titan Motorcycle Co. of America announced that, at a meeting of the board of directors held on January 18, 2001, it appointed two new members to the board: Jock Patton and Daniel Diethelm. Both Patton and Diethelm have extensive experience and have enjoyed exceptional success in guiding companies through the Chapter 11 process.
In recognition of their unique qualifications, Titan's board of directors approved the formation of a three-member restructuring committee, comprised of Messrs. Patton and Diethelm, and Harry Eastlick, another non-management member of the board. The restructuring committee is charged with the responsibility of managing Titan's course through Chapter 11 reorganization and pursuing initiatives specific to facilitating an effective restructuring.
For 20 years, Jock Patton was the chair of the Corporate Securities Practice Group for the law firm of Streich Lang (Phoenix). Since then, he has served on the boards of directors for several major companies undergoing restructurings in the United States, including the Baptist Foundation of Arizona (the largest nonprofit Chapter 11 proceeding in U.S. history), National Airlines, Inc., Stuart Entertainment, Inc., and Unison HealthCare Corporation. Patton is also a member of the board of trustees for the ING Pilgrim family of funds and is a director of Hypercom Corporation, and JDA Software Group, Inc.
Daniel Diethelm currently serves as a member of the board of directors for Buick of Scottsdale, Sudan Funding, and Arizona State Board for Charter Schools. Diethelm, a chartered financial analyst, also served as chief executive officer and a member of the board of Sebec Corporation, which acted as an investment and financial consultant to corporations in a wide range of industries, as well as Aeropower Resources, an authorized maintenance center and FAA repair station for Rolls-Royce aircraft engines.
"The addition of Jock and Dan to the board is a most welcomed development as Titan continues to work toward a successful reorganization," said Frank Keery, Titan's chairman and chief executive officer. "Since the moment they assumed their places on the board, Jock and Dan have worked tirelessly to bring new strategies to bear for an expeditious restructuring. The board believes that their service on the restructuring committee will open new opportunities for Titan and speed its emergence from Chapter 11 protection. The board and Titan's executive officers have the utmost confidence in Jock and Dan and welcome the new perspective and approach they bring to this process and to the management of this company." Keery also acknowledged the commitment and contribution made to Titan since its inception by Barbara Keery, who has resigned as a member of the board and secretary.
