BIG News here today. Watch for break above .04 and run. Chart looking good here.
claim from management is they haven't sold a single share - they are allowed to sell up to 90m shares every 3 months now that they are unrestricted but 'claim' to have no interest in selling at these levels. Also said there are no note conversions going on so any selling pressure would be external shareholders.
Also, fwiw, you should be able to call in and get online transaction rates if you can't buy online. I always have.
SinglePoint and Smart Cannabis Corp. Sign Joint Venture to Integrate, Distribute ‘SMART APP’ for Cannabis Businesses
Dec 05, 2017
OTC Disclosure & News Service
-
SEATTLE, Dec. 05, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- SinglePoint, Inc. (OTC:SING) today announces a joint venture relationship with Smart Cannabis Corporation (OTC:SCNA) (www.smartcannabis.com) in which SinglePoint will license and market Smart Cannabis’ SMART APP, an industry specific application that enables cultivators to control entire operations from a mobile device. The SMART APP is leading the way in efficiently cultivating cannabis through the introduction of IoT technology (Internet of Things) to greenhouses. This SMART APP IoT technology measures everything from nutrient levels in soil to watering cycles, to parts per million of carbon dioxide in the air. SinglePoint and Smart Cannabis Corp. will also work together to integrate SinglePoint’s bitcoin payment solution. This gives cultivators the ability to collect payment for their sales via the payment application, making for a safer and more secure transaction.
“Cultivators need a solution to secure their payments. We are looking to provide a solution that can be used from seed to sale, the entire life cycle. The transaction from a cultivator to a processor or dispensary can be huge, over $150,000 per transaction, and it is simply not safe or efficient to carry that kind of cash to a transaction. We believe we can help secure and track this transaction with our solution,” states SinglePoint President Wil Ralston.
Additionally, SinglePoint and Smart Cannabis Corp. will work together to finalize a track and trace solution. This solution, already available for Smart Cannabis cultivator customers, be developed by SinglePoint and deployed to a consumer base that will bring the solution full circle.
“Consumers who walk into a dispensary, where a cultivator is using our system, will be able to see how, when, and where the product was grown. There is no other system on the market like it and we plan to be the first company to use transparent and traceable blockchain technology to bring this “track and trace” product knowledge to consumers,” said Ralston.
John Taylor, president of Smart Cannabis Corp., said the company is excited to “team up” with SinglePoint.
“They are an ideal partner for us to expand our business beyond California for both our current products, our line of innovative automation, and our trace and tracking software solution for cultivators. This joint venture with SinglePoint will give us the ability to market our products on a broader scale. In addition, we believe the uptrend in cryptocurrency use in the cannabis marketplace will continue to expand, and being part of their exchange will help us grow our base business.”
SinglePoint is moving into what has been labeled as California’s “Green Rush” in a big way. Through joint ventures and acquisitions the company has solidified its beachhead in a state that projects annual cannabis sales around $7 billion. According to Grand View Research, the medical marijuana market is expected to reach a value of USD $55.8 billion by 2025. SinglePoint and Smart Cannabis Corporation are moving into this major market offering top tier solutions that will drive revenue for both companies.
“We are very impressed with the results that Smart Cannabis has quickly achieved in California, and we believe this relationship with them provides a great deal of synergy, both in California and in the nationwide cannabis business. The company is building a truly innovative product. Our expertise in payment processing and point of sale systems is a perfect fit for the track and trace technology they have developed to date. Our overall goal is to have a fully integrated solution for businesses to manage their day-to-day operations from beginning to end, and Smart Cannabis operates to that same goal with their automated greenhouse solutions. We are glad they have turned to us to collaborate on their software solutions, and to be a part of our bitcoin exchange,” said Greg Lambrecht, CEO and founder of SinglePoint.

This board is not very active. With the potential of this stock (if the O/S)goes down), you would think that there would be a lot of activity. On the other hand, most of the posts on active boards are meaningless, and not very valuable.
The same article about Sessions had this to say:
Health Canada announced a change in policy this past May that would expedite the process by which growing licenses are issued and extended, and Canada's parliament might move forward with legalization this coming summer.
THIS WOULD BE A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY FOR SCNA. Canada's growing season is nowhere near ours. I would suggest that SCNA start exploring this situation. I am surprised that they have not done this already. Any colder climate country can be a customer, not just for pot growing, but for any plants.
Back in May, Sessions sent a letter to his Congressional colleagues requesting the repeal of the Rohrabacher-Farr Amendment, which is what protects medical marijuana businesses in legal states from federal prosecution. As long as he is in charge, there will be a cloud of uncertainty.
The response i received from E*TRADE said they'll waive the normal broker fee if you mention that the online system is not available for this security.
Broker assisted trades at TD are $40+ commission. Probably the same policy at other brokers. TD will give you the on-line price of $6+ if you ask ahead of time.
I called TD Ameritrade. You can buy it, but not on-line, right now. You have to call them. The reason is due to recent "Volatility", which translates to management dumping their shares. Let's all thank John and Don. They will release the "restriction" once they stop dumping, and it looks they have eased up.....but they will probably start again, if and when the price goes up.
Same and if etrade won't let me buy it well that tells me I don't need it that bad
Crypto? Now I am out. What a bunch of crooks.
SCNA
Only thing I can tell ya is to call them. I don’t know your platforms. I only know my own and if I have an issue I call them.

I'm on E*TRADE and having same problem which I've never had with penny stocks before
Not sure what the issue is with your trading platform. I would suggest calling your brokerage.

This company has no chance as it cannot be purchased on any of the platforms I use and I use td and etrade probably two most used platforms
Huge!!! Don Smith on MoneyTV. Joint Venture with Singlepoint. Crypto currency!!

Encouraging news. I did see that studies/tests are now being conducted to determine if pot has any positive effects on PTSD. It has been previously reported that it does, but nothing to substantiate it.
One problem with this. It allowed local governments to make their own rules. I live in California and my city council voted against all sales except for medical. The same for many other municipalities.
Oh sweet an article only for California where nobody will see, great work!!

Excellent read. Written by our CEO, John Taylor.

Ok. Thanks for your response.
I mean that those dumping got nervous that the price may not go back up, so they continued to dump. If they thought it would rise, they certainly would not have sold. I noticed the volume has dropped considerably today. Management may think the price is now too low to realize higher gains. Only my opinions.
You're saying they sold because they needed the money? That's common, isn't it? Whether to live on or re-invest.
Why would they fear the price going back up? They still have plenty of shares. Wouldn't it be good for the price to go back up?
I would think a sell off in order to walk the pps down is to re-load for an increase in pps, either by insiders or MM's. No?
I'm seriously asking. I'm new-ish and don't get it.
Did you see the news today from AG Sessions? I sent an e-mail to Don prior to them implementing the name change. I suggested the name "Cannibis" will get swept up with other pot stocks once Sessions (Deer in headlights)gets time to do something. I also reminded him of the large O/S. Both fell upon deaf ears.
I sold my stock at that time, but I have gotten back in. I am long on this.
They started dumping at a higher price per share, and have dropped it to here. They need the money. Once they started dumping, they got nervous about it going back up, and continue to dump.
Can someone explain to me? Seriously:
If this is insiders dumping, then why wouldn't they dump at a higher PPS? The company looks like it is doing so well. You would think the PPS could go much higher and then they could make a lot more money.
Yeah they are dumping the shares fro lock up since 11/1. Enjoy!
SCNA
this has dropped steadly over the last 3 months I do like the company and product - profitable and a needed product for the cannabis industry. But until this settles down and good news comes out I am out. will get back in when all settles and they show this company will come back strong
Proof is in the pudding don completely has lost all confidence from here out. Enjoy the yacht on us!!
S.S. Dumpathon

After 1 Nov, this went from practically no volume to what we now see. Along with the volume came a drastic drop in share price. It is evident that management does not have a lot of confidence in their own company as they are dropping shares. Don can say what he wants, but the facts speak for themselves.
Yep radio silence from management now, they propped up the share price long enough to now dump their shares.
SCNA
Company is dumping, mj scam 101. Profits don’t matter when you are diluting and pushing away potential suckers.
SCNA
I am still here. I haven’t disappeared and I have no association with the company other then being a shareholder just like any other investor here. Am I happy with the current PPS? No I’m not. But I can tell you I still believe in the companies products and services. I don’t believe this is a scam either. This is not the company selling shares into the market alone. There are individual investors selling also.
$$$$$$$$SCNA/SmartCannabis/NextGenFarming$$$$$$$$
Unlocked all the insider shares on 11/1 and they are dumping. Bri the paid pumper has all of a sudden disappeared. Joke is on us.
SCNA
Don, can you give us a little insight as to why the stock is in the dumps???? I am high on SCNA but starting to worry a bit.
This is bad guys..it truly is. This company is so good but we cant get any buyers. :(
Yep complete insider enrichment. This company is a scam.
SCNA
They should be. Pot is illegal insofar as the Fed is concerned. If he starts to crackdown on states he will win. It would probably end up in the Supreme Court, and you know that is now stacked in the GOP's favor.
Sounds like everyone is afraid of Jeff Sessions.
Mindgame you are correct about the AG for all 50 states. My belief is that potstock people are a cult that 'inhales' their own misty dream. This company appears ,to me, to be a construction firm that pretends to like Bob Marley in name only.
I disagree. I think cannabis in the name is taking a gamble. The present administration, especially the AG, is against pot, and will take steps to lessen its spread. Any news from the AG to curtail pot will hit the industry hard. It is just a matter of time.
Nope. Holding long in both garbage companies!!! Both dog$hit companies!!
SCNA
I think the cannabis in the name is click bait. I like it because it is profiting, actually producing and appears to be a construction company run by adults. Too many potstocks are all fluff. These people construct greenhouses.
The drop in price started with the increase in volume. It seems pretty obvious that management is now dumping their shares after the 1 Nov date that lifted restrictions. Any other reasons? I would be curious as to the O/S count now.
Like I said, I don’t know, maybe the person needs money? lol
Why are they selling?
Does anyone know why these one or two retail accounts are selling out of a profitable company in a world where there are almost no other profitable competitors?
Haha how would I know.
Are our share holders getting scared and bailing?

"How does a self-funded company go from a start-up to a profitable, self-sustaining business in 3 months?
The answer dates back to post-World War II Japan. Faced with limited cash, space and natural resources, Japanese manufacturers adopted a different approach. They made smaller factories and house only the raw materials needed for the day's production. Combined with a focus on eliminating waste, a strategy later known as Just-in-Time manufacturing was born.
In the late 1940's, Toyota adopted this strategy into it's Toyota Production System. Using the efficiency of just-in-time manufacturing and focusing on removing wasteful elements in manufacturing, Toyota grew from a small auto company to the world's largest automaker. In the process, they paved the way for what is now called Lean Manufacturing.
Nobody knows more about first-hand implementation of Lean Manufacturing than SmartCannabis President, John Taylor. Interested in how manufacturing companies were improving their operations, Taylor travelled to Europe several times and studied the operations at one of the world's largest machine tool providers, the Trumpf Group.
The Trumpf Group created very high quality tools, but with over 10,000 employee and no systemized production system, they faced delays and excess inventories. Trumpf began implementing the principles of lean manufacturing and it was dubbed the Synchro production system. Taylor watched as department after department, plant after plant was transformed into a clockwork of precision.
In 2007, John applied his first-hand knowledge to help local manufacturer Taylor Wings survive the sharp economic downturn. Lean-manufacturing principles allowed Taylor Wings to operate like an orchestra, in perfect synchronization.
Fast forward nearly 10-years and trend toward greenhouse cultivation was an industry trend he couldn't ignore. He knew he draw on his experience, build a better greenhouse and a better greenhouse company. With use of his synchro knowledge he quickly developed Just in Time Systems geared specifically for commercial Cannabis production with acknowledged global Lean Standards. Not long after, Next Generation Farming was born."
