In the future I would like to see abiltity to vote on messages. Strong Agree 5 to 0 strong disagree. Somehow show the total votes and avg score when viewing messages in a board. Would help find good posts quickly and reduce number of me too posts. Keep up the good work. - RD

Now that you have added those really cool crossword puzzle solvers, the Mailbox thing is off center on your toolbar. I realize that this doesnt bother anyone else cept me and that Monk guy, but any chance that Mailbox and boards could be switched? Wouldnt make a difference if Mailbox didnt have a number attached to it.

As someone who is acutely conscious of color combinations and the asthetics on web pages, may i suggest that the color combination be changed to something more soothing for the eyes...

The deep blue, crimson and green colors are just toooooo jarring...and tiring for the eyes...esp the crimson/scarlet red...

As a color rule, assault of more than 2 primary colors at a time on the eye makes the object appear very busy, the eyes have a hard time distinuishing and absorbing this embedded info. This in turn leads to eye fatigue pretty fast.....and without being aware, the observer automatically looks for a change in the visual stimulation being recorded....which in this case, may translate to forcing people into taking a short break from this site...

Silicon Investors use of grey tones down and mutes the dark blue into oblivion...and is much more soothing as compared with the various shaes of blues on IHub boards.....

Maybe the developers should experiment with something which is equally or more comforting to the eyes...? It may help with customer retention....i believe the primary reason for raging bull's failure was its garish color scheme....i and a lot of my friends couldn't STAND that board because of its color combination....i preferred the yahoo boards anyday...

P.S> I don't mind the seconds showing up, makes it kinda interesting for grubbing purposes, should that ever happen here, but it does seem to make that area a little busy. Could even reduce the year "2001" to just '01 also.

Would really like to see submitting IP as signature on posts (Like on BOBZ.com) - IMO one of the best ways to prevent that multiface characters ruin the credibility.

And also a PI corner in the lounge. (not under the Sheriff )

Bernard, this is beta! The whole point is to shake out bugs before going live. I don't expect the "refresh counter" will need to be a permanent feature; as it is it gives us a way to correct the counter due to a previous bug that has been fixed.

Nice the refresh mail box counter works... but at the first place, how could you let the counter screws up anyway? A function to fix the site's bug by the users.. weird...

Matt Here's a suggestion,
Whenever you click on a post in RB you can't type in a new board from there. You have to press back and then type in the board. So basically what I'm saying is make sure you have a "go to board" feature when you are in a post. This maybe kind of little but I want this thing to be big and kick RB's butt.

Hey Paul,

I am using many providers in the begining, but ValueClick gets the top spot because they are offering the highest pay-rate.

From what i have seen, the site loads and then the ad loads.

The main reason I added a second ad was because the pages were loading so fast the ad never had time to make it up there for the user to see, so we defintely don't have a problem there.

I didn't even know ValueClick had gone public yet...wow, I gotta watch the stock market more often. <grin>

Please make sure that if the ad server is down the rest of the page loads. Check Netscape and Explorer. I hate when web pages hang on ads! Just show the broken image icon and let us see the content.

I can't remember if I've seen this as a problem with Valueclick of not.I'm glad your using Valueclick I was in on the IPO through Wit Capital.

After I posted a message, the site doesn't redirect me back to the thread like RB... hum...

However, it might be a good place for you to put a banner on that page for people to click back to the thread... just put a sentence like "please help to click on our sponser to make this site free of charge, the sponsor's page would appear in a new browser window."

Well... another bug... may not be you guys fault though... the morgage banner that allows me to select things then click get quote... that banner doesn't open up a new window...

One Suggestion that I would have would be the readaing of the messages...

This is after beta testing..not important @ all right now..but just so I can remember...

Make it ez on the eyes...black on white isn't always easy .. so maybe some light grey back ground or something simlar..

And then do some cool with the "outline" of the table/box that the text is in...
