Lawmakers Call On Trump To Release Classified JFK Docs
Fifty-four years after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, two U.S. lawmakers who lived through the ordeal are calling for the declassification of thousands of pages of long-secret government documents related to his death.
The disclosure, they believe, will answer a question that has for half a century plagued the American public: Did anyone help or have knowledge of Lee Harvey Oswald's plan to kill Kennedy?
"I believe the American public needs to know the truth," said Rep. Walter Jones, R-N.C., who along with Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, is leading a congressional effort to declassify thousands of documents and recordings compiled by the CIA and FBI.
"It's still hard for me to believe it was one man, but at the same time I have no proof that it wasn't," said Jones, who watched on live television as Oswald, awaiting transfer to a county jail, was shot by Dallas nightclub owner Jack Ruby two days after Oswald assassinated Kennedy on Nov. 22, 1963.

Vegas shooter was reportedly prescribed anti-anxiety meds over the summer
Mass murderer Stephen Paddock was prescribed anti-anxiety medication this past summer, a report said.
The gunman purchased 50 10-milligram tablets of diazepam — better known under its brand name Valium — on June 21, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported, citing records from the Nevada Prescription Monitoring Program.
The prescription was from Henderson physician Dr. Steven Winkler, and his office declined to make him available for comment.
Paddock purchased the drug, without insurance, from a Walgreens in Reno.

Iraq Vet Who Alerted Police To Vegas Shooter’s Exact Location Raises Major Question About Response Time
"I could just hear the gunshots, continuously."
An Iraq war veteran who alerted police to the location of the Las Vegas shooter’s hotel room is questioning why it took so long for authorities to eliminate the threat.
“And it felt like it took them too long to get over there … to take him out. To get him,” said Chris Bethel, who was in a room at the Mandalay Bay hotel just two floors below where the suspected shooter, Stephen Paddock, carried out the attack.
“And it’s actually eating me up inside,” he added.
Bethel, a resident of Fort Worth, Texas, said he was in Las Vegas for an IT conference.
He was in his hotel room on Sunday night when he first heard the gunshots.
“I could just hear the gunshots, continuously. Just full automatic,” Bethel told CBS Dallas-Fort Worth. “There were explosions going off. It was like a bomb just went off man. And then there were more gunshots.”
Bethel said he called the front desk at the hotel across the street from where he was staying just after 10 p.m. local to report gunshots, but no one answered his calls.
“Seconds are going by, minutes are going by, and the rounds are continuously going,” Bethel said. “Changing weapons, changing calibers, you can hear the difference in the gunshots.”
Bethel said police initially responded to the wrong location but said he was finally able to direct officers to the correct location, telling a 911 operator, “He’s not over there, he’s over here.”
Police indicated the first report of gunfire at the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival came at 10:08 p.m. on Sunday, according to the U.K. Daily Mail.
The Daily Mail reported more than 72 minutes passed between the initial call to police and when the SWAT team broke into the room used by Paddock, where they found that he had already shot himself dead.
An officer reported at 10:57 p.m. that police had secured the hallway outside of Paddock’s hotel room on the 32nd floor.
However, there was a 24-minute delay as officers waited for the SWAT team to arrive on the scene. SWAT arrived on the 32nd floor at 11:21 p.m.
“It felt like it took them too long to get over there, to take him out,” Bethel said. “To get him. And it’s actually eating me up inside.”
While police have credited Bethel for helping locate the shooter’s location, he said he believes more lives could have been saved had someone answered his phone calls sooner.
“I feel like I didn’t do enough,” Bethel said. “I feel like I couldn’t get a hold of somebody quick enough to let them know. And it felt like it took them too long to get over there, to take him out.”

North Korean Ship With Cache Of Weapons Seized Before Reaching Destination
A North Korean mysterious bulk freighter named Jie Shun was flying Cambodian flags and carrying cargo that was heavily shrouded in tarps. Once seized, under those tarps, a cache of weapons was found and the surprising destination of those weapons was uncovered.
In August, a secret message was passed from Washington to Cairo warning about a mysterious vessel steaming toward the Suez Canal.
According to The Washington Post, that’s all it took for authorities in the United States to act and monitor the Jie Shun.
The Jie Shun is listed as a cargo ship on vessel tracker and even though it was flying Cambodian colors, it did originate from North Korea.
Customs agents were waiting for the mystery cargo when the ship entered Egyptian waters.
They swarmed the vessel and discovered, concealed under bins of iron ore, a cache of more than 30,000 rocket-propelled grenades.
It was, as a United Nations report later concluded, the “largest seizure of ammunition in the history of sanctions against the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.”
This cache was worth about $23 million.
But who were all of these weapons for?
The Jie Shun’s final secret would take months to resolve and would yield perhaps the biggest surprise of all.
The buyers were the Egyptians themselves; longtime US allies.
A United Nations investigation uncovered a complex arrangement in which Egyptian business executives ordered millions of dollars worth of North Korean rockets for the country’s military while also taking pains to keep the transaction hidden, according to U.S. officials and Western diplomats familiar with the findings.
The incident, many details of which were never publicly revealed, prompted the latest in a series of intense, if private, U.S. complaints about Egyptian efforts to obtain banned military hardware from Pyongyang, the officials said. –The Washington Post
This discovery also shed a bit more light on a little-understood global arms trade that has become an increasingly vital financial lifeline for North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in the wake of unprecedented economic sanctions.
It appears that North Korea and those who support the rogue nation are unconcerned about the ink on paper that makes up the UN sanctions.
Even as the United States and its allies pile on the sanctions, Kim continues to quietly reap profits from selling cheap conventional weapons and military hardware to a list of customers and beneficiaries that has at times included Iran, Burma, Cuba, Syria, Eritrea, and at least two terrorist groups, as well as key U.S. allies such as Egypt, analysts said.
A statement from the Egyptian Embassy in Washington claimed to Egypt is being “transparent” and is in cooperation with U.N. officials in the finding of and destroying the contraband.
“Egypt will continue to abide by all Security Council resolutions and will always be in conformity with these resolutions as they restrain military purchases from North Korea,” the statement said. This secret and potential deadly alliance between Egypt and North Korea was disguised quite well.
U.S. officials confirmed that the delivery of the rockets was foiled only when U.S. intelligence agencies spotted the vessel and alerted Egyptian authorities through diplomatic channels.
This left Egypt with little choice, and essentially forced them to take action against the cargo ship, said current and former U.S. officials and diplomats briefed on the events.
The officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss U.S. and U.N. findings, said the Jie Shun episode was one of a series of clandestine deals that led the Trump administration to freeze or delay nearly $300 million in military aid to Egypt over the summer.
Even the shipper, listed as Dalian Haoda Petroleum Chemical Co., also tried to hide information written on the crates themselves by covering them with large canvas patches. And the Trump administration isn’t playing games with Egypt’s secret allegiance to Kim Jong-Un.
According to officials who spoke to The Washington Post on condition of anonymity, the Jie Shun incident is one of many secretive deals behind the Trump administration’s decision over the summer to freeze nearly $300 million in military aid to Egypt.
For its part, Egypt claims to be cooperating with U.N.officials in finding and destroying the weapons.
A statement the Egyptian Embassy in Washington gave to The Washington Post claims it is following all the rules.

mr, thank you so much for all that detail. I've had no doubt that the Trump Administration is working miracles.
People may get tired of me putting my personal experience into so much. Here I go again.
I've never worked a disaster, but I have worked a massive mobilization. In 1995-1996 I worked a ( $2 billion )copper-gold mining program. It was in NW Argentina @ 10.000'. No lives were at stake, but a hell of a lot of money was.
We had thousands of tons of material and equipment to get to the mine site.. It couldn't be landed in Argentina because so many small towns had to be transited.
Virtually everything was landed in Chile's northern most large port of Antofagasta, and hauled over the Andes. The pass was over 13.000' . The high Andes is subject to blizzards the year around. We had snow plows and dozers to pull trucks on station.
We had 3500 construction workers and 1500 mine operators to house. The housing was in prefabricated modules. The mine equipment was enormous and we had 18- 40 Cubic yard ore haul trucks brought up. A large front end loader handles 3 cu yds. All this had to be hauled over The Andes. Then transit 300 miles of dirt road.
Our conditions certainly nothing like what they are facing in
Puerto Rico, but I do have a good appreation of their task.
What they are doing is miraculous!

Forecasters Fear Churning Storm System Could Develop Into Something Major
With a reminder that hurricane season is far from over, weather forecasters are warning residents of states bordering the Gulf of Mexico that tropical storm systems could be developing near them within the next few days.
“A tropical system may bud near the Yucatan Peninsula,” according to AccuWeather Hurricane expert Dan Kottlowski.
“Any feature that develops in this area is likely to drift in a general northward direction and over the Gulf of Mexico,” Kottlowski said, explaining that, “Development could occur as early as Friday.”
That would mean that any storm, which would be called Nate, could pose a risk for any of the areas along the coasts of Florida, Alabama, Mississippi and southeastern Louisiana.
At the least, those areas could face high winds and some coastal flooding. The worst? Another hurricane in a year where Texas, Louisiana, Florida, Puerto Rico and much of the Caribbean is already reeling from storm damage.
“Should the system develop just east or southeast of the Yucatan Peninsula, where waters are the warmest, we could quickly have a powerful hurricane on our hands,” Kottlowski said.
Meanwhile, the National Hurricane Center has its eye on a storm system off the coast of Florida. The center puts the chance of it becoming a tropical storm at 40 percent. If both weather systems develop into tropical storms, one would be named Nate and the other Ophelia.
“The Atlantic basin may yield one more major (Category 3 or stronger) hurricane, which would bring the 2017 seasonal total to five,” Kottlowski said.

A Gun is Missing!
A gun store owner has stepped forward to identify a very expensive gun that was purchased from his store just hours before the killer arrived in Vegas. The gun was not found by the police in his hotel suite.
Where is the gun now? Did someone else use the gun?
Mass killer Stephen Paddock bought a high-powered hunting rifle just hours before he arrived in Las Vegas on his mission of death, DailyMail.com can reveal.
Mass killer Stephen Paddock bought a high-powered hunting rifle just hours before he arrived in Las Vegas on his mission of death, DailyMail.com can reveal.
But bizarrely the rifle wasn’t one of the 23 weapon haul found by police in his sniper’s nest hotel suite.
Paddock paid $600 for a Ruger American .308 bolt-action rifle with an 18-inch barrel and four round capacity from Guns & Guitars in his hometown of Mesquite.
He then calmly drove 80 miles to check in at the Mandalay Bay hotel on the Vegas Strip from where he rained bullets down on the Route 91 Harvest music festival killing 59 people and injuring a further 537.
A gunsmith at the store revealed Paddock was ‘calm and normal’ when he bought the weapon at around 3pm on September 28.
The worker, who goes by the name Skipper Speece, said it took around 20 minutes for the store to carry out vetting procedures and Paddock passed with flying colors – raising no alarm bells.
He then left the shop with the weapon but it’s unclear what happened next.

Company that owns Mandalay Bay sent letter to employees soliciting donations for civil rights groups
The CEO of MGM Resorts International—the company that owns the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino—from which could-be “radicalized” Las Vegas gunman Stephen Paddock shot down at a crowd of 23,000, killing 59 and injuring more than 530, pledged to match employees’ donations to top civil rights groups of the day only six weeks ago.
In his letter sent to employees, MGM Resorts International CEO Jim Murren cited the violence at a white supremacists rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, the three deaths, and the terrorist incident in Barcelona, Spain, (that) killed 13 people and said it caused a feeling of disgust by its hatred. (America’s Card Room, Aug. 23, 2017)
In the letter in which he addressed the company’s 77,000 employees as “colleagues”, Murren denounced hatred and bigotry.
The company, he vowed, would match employee donations to: the Southern Poverty Law Center, NAACP, Anti-defamation League, Human Rights Campaign, Council on American Islamic Relations, Asian Pacific American Advocates and the League of United Latin American Citizens.
“Murren said human dignity for all people, is key to MGM Resorts’ identity. He continued by saying the First Amendment delivers free speech to all and the Constitution and Civil Rights Act ensure equality. (America’s Card Room)
“Hate mongers and white supremacists, he said, have a constitutional right to express their views, but he added Americans must stand strongly in defiance of violence, bigotry, and anything that threatens their equality. He gave his commitment that MGM will vigorously and zealously continue to reject hate speech and hate-based actions in any form.”

My hearing is so bad that I rarely watch the videos. I understand little in them.

I too have become disappointed in Sessions. So many crimes--so little action.
I said a while back that I think there is a silent agreement that new administrations don't go after the previous administration. It could quickly turn into a never ending cycle of witch hunts.
But with the Obama Administration, there were SO MANY crimes committed.
Some of the perps need to be brought to justice.

A 2013 video shows the mayor of San Juan, Puerto Rico, turning her back when asked to swear to uphold the Constitution.
On Saturday, President Donald Trump called out Carmen Yulín Cruz, the mayor, for her “poor leadership ability” in a tweet. The day prior, Cruz had been critical, saying, “If anybody out there is listening to us, we are dying, and you are killing us with the inefficiency.”
Cruz first became mayor of San Juan, the capital of Puerto Rico, in 2013. When taking the oath of office, Cruz delayed repeating the words that she would “uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States,” turning her back to the woman administering the oath for a long moment.

Speaking today at the Bill and Melinda Gates sponsored “Grand Challenges” meeting, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson outlines the Trump administration position on U.S. aid and humanitarian relief.
“We must view foreign aid as a means to an end, not an end unto itself. A country’s prosperity and security is best sustained from within, not through foreign aid. There can be no greater measure of success than witnessing a country able to stand on its own two feet.” ~ Secretary Tillerson

Robert Mueller Takes Over Full Control of “Steele Dossier” Inquiry…
Posted on October 4, 2017 by sundance

If the FBI was attempting to reassert a reason for public confidence in their investigative agency; and/or if the FBI was trying to deconstruct their recent history of politicization and weaponization against American citizens; they would be taking specific action toward that end goal. They’re not.
Exactly the opposite is true.
The current leadership of the FBI and DOJ are factually taking specific action to remove any investigative or public scrutiny of their scurrilous activities and corrupt agency involvement in recent events. If they didn’t need to do this – they wouldn’t be doing this.
As such, the transparency of their motive to bury their own agencies involvement in the creation of, and payments toward, the ridiculous Steele Dossier is now abundantly clear:
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The special counsel investigating whether Russia tried to sway the 2016 U.S. election has taken over FBI inquiries into a former British spy’s dossier of allegations of Russian financial and personal links to President Donald Trump’s campaign and associates, sources familiar with the inquiry told Reuters.
A report compiled by former MI6 officer Christopher Steele identified Russian businessmen and others whom U.S. intelligence analysts have concluded are Russian intelligence officers or working on behalf of the Russian government.
A spokesman for special counsel Robert Mueller declined comment. The FBI also declined comment.
Three sources with knowledge of Mueller’s probe said his investigators have assumed control of multiple inquiries into allegations by U.S. intelligence agencies that Russia interfered in the election to benefit Trump, a Republican. (read more)
This is beyond absurd. Whether by intent or accidental design (you decide) the DOJ and FBI are turning the top law enforcement agencies of the U.S. into political operations that resemble a banana republic.
The only way for the DOJ and FBI to even begin to recapture some trust from the American electorate would be to conduct all aspects of their political investigative duty in the most transparent sunlight possible.
Accepting things as they are, as opposed to how we wish them to be, it is obvious the DOJ and FBI intend to carry out their responsibilities in the shadows. This is not good.
I have an opinion !
President Trump spoke of Law and Order while he campaigned. We realize the President has many forces against him.
Until someone is brought to justice (at least charged with something) and made an example of everything we see with the Media, Actors, Politicians undermining the President will continue !
The AG has not done his job, he is a very big disappointment IMO. Charges should have been filed on someone by now.
We have had Fast and Furious, Bengazi, Hati, election fixing, The Clinton Foundation, Comey, Clapper, Brennan, Holder, Rice, Lynch and more.
There may be a Statue of Limitations on filing Charges in some cases ?
Would the Democrats if in power have done nothing thus far ?
All IMO !
Remember Fast and Furious ? This video makes sense !
I liked that too.
The little pin head presstitute from Politico still tried to make some BS about it.
That is the heading on the Video, not my interpretation.
My favorite part of Tillerson's remarks was when he said
"I'm not from this place". (To me that shows his disdain for DC & NYC). Where I'm from we don't engage in this petrty nonsense.
Good man, Rex.

Foxconn confirms Racine County site for sprawling factory complex
http://www.jsonline.com/story/money/2017/10/04/foxconn-confirms-racine-county-site-sprawling-factory-complex/731331001/
STURTEVANT - Racine County officials on Wednesday confirmed the location of the massive Foxconn factory that someday could employ thousands.
The sprawling industrial complex, covering 20 million square feet and by far the largest industrial complex in the state, will be located off I-94 between Highway 11 and Highway KR, officials said at a news conference.
The exact location will be in the far southwest corner of the village of Mount Pleasant on 1,198 acres in a section bounded by I-94 on the west, Highway KR on the south, Highway H on the east and Braun Road on the north.
That land is within a larger area in which real estate brokers have been working for months to put properties under contract for sale for the project.
Adjacent sections north of Braun Road and east of Highway H were designated for construction staging and future development.
The efforts to acquire rights to the necessary land may not yet be complete. Material prepared for Wednesday's announcement said Racine County and Mount Pleasant "are working with Foxconn to assemble land for the primary manufacturing campus and land nearby that can accommodate Foxconn's future expansion and supplier companies."
The unveiling of Foxconn's site choice came at an elaborate presentation at the SC Johnson iMet Center in Sturtevant. About 200 people were present, and rooms featured displays of the ultra high resolution flat screens that Foxconn plans to build in Wisconsin.
"This is truly an historic day for Racine County," Racine County Executive Jonathan Delagrave said.
He said three informational sessions will be held in coming weeks to seek public comments.
"We are committed to making sure your input is part of this process,” Delagrave said.

Still unknown as of Wednesday morning: the scope of the local incentive package being offered to woo Foxconn. A statement from Racine County and Mount Pleasant said the government entities "are preparing a development agreement that is structured to mitigate the village and county risk associated with the project."
About 35 landowners hold property within Foxconn’s chosen site, plus several residents of a small subdivision near the intersection of Highway KR and Highway H.
Property owners have been offered $50,000 an acre for open land — several times the going rate for agricultural land in the area. How the purchase of homes will be handled is not yet known. The area targeted includes more than 20 homes.
While some have questioned whether Foxconn will truly follow through on its ambitious plans — pointing to proposed projects in places such as Pennsylvania and Brazil that didn’t get built as originally announced — a key Foxconn executive reiterated Wednesday that the project here will go forward.
Louis Woo, special assistant to Foxconn Chairman Terry Gou, said the company will hire 13,000 people directly and create “tens of thousands” of additional jobs at suppliers.
Changes started before Bannon went back. I can't dissect how much is due to Bannon. Breitbart still has more good articles than bad. I try to be choosy.
We've had discussions about their Headlines. I gave them a pass...longer than I should have.
He's such a breath of fresh air in this Soros induced PC cesspool.
Zo is spot on. Love his videos.
There is a name missing from the Breibart story. Bannon.
Have the changes started since Bannon went back?
IMO, Bannon is a classic egotist. He could have left the White House with a chip on his shoulder.
