Lol. Yea, you are correct.

I already went where I was directed. But since I do not have a vested interest in continual complaints, I just go elsewhere for product for the time being.

I only post here for information. As I use the product, maybe someone will find value in knowing that information. It is a problem when you apply a paint and then come back for a second job only a month later and the base is diluted to the point the dried product doesn't even have the same color.

It is what it is.

The time it takes for me to apply a second coating and get closer to a color match is much more than the 2 minutes time it takes for me to type a paragraph on iHub.

Actually, I live in a metro area with about 15 local branches. And speaking to the manager at many of them has not brought about any results.

It's not a local store issue. Local stores do not produce the base products.

It was in fact a local store that directed me online to airing my complaints, as they are tired of dealing with them as well.

The CEO addressing the results SHOULD sound something like this:

"We at Sherwin Williams have been finding very innovative methods to water down our product and offer lower quality at higher prices. We will continue to raise the inconsistency of our coatings upon American real estate to the benefit of our shareholders and stock prices. We believe this strategy to continue to be profitable for us within any market environment."

If it doesn't sound like that, then its complete bullshit.

To follow up -the news is mind boggling - Imagine SHW's Paint Shied (that's the name of the product) will eventually be used to save lives in hospitals because it kills over 99.9% of bacteria, including Staph, E.coli AND MRSA. It'll be sold in over 4,000 stores and available in 590 colors by the beginning of next year. Cost is $84.99 a little more than their average price.

The potential is endless - in schools, Nursing Homes, buildings and homes. Needless to say, I just bought in,
