Spysweeper http://www.webroot.com/wb/index.php
I downloaded and used this today to get rid of the spyware on my computer; what a difference!! I was bogged down with popups but Spysweeper, in conjunction w/ Popup Stopper, really cut them down and adds speed, too. Try it, you'll be surprised how many spyware cookies are there...
try this one, type in symbol, then click for interactive chart (and slowly run mouse pointer across chart), also check scan sites in iBox

Rating Research LLC
http://www.ratingresearch.com/
“Corporate reputation should be considered as much more than simply a brand emblem in the marketplace. Rather, it is a window to the fundamental character of a company and its leaders and as such is relevant to all stakeholders…”
— Professor Stephen A. Greyser, Harvard Business School
Rating Research LLC (RRC) is a public rating agency that measures the critical intangible assets that constitute corporate reputation. RRC’s broadly disseminated Reputation Ratings and Ethics Reputation Ratings on leading companies — and the Industry Reputation Studies that support and explain those ratings — provide interested third parties, relevant stakeholders, and the general public with greater insight into corporations’ performance – both present and future.
Recent events have dramatically increased the demand for independent and objective analysis and opinion about the reputations of leading corporations. Increasingly, a company’s reputation is being recognized as a strategic asset with a direct impact on that company’s long-term financial health. RRC believes that the adoption and use of its Reputation Ratings by rated companies, business and financial media, consumers, investors, regulators, and the financial community, among others, will encourage greater corporate accountability and transparency.
For more background on RRC, visit Profile. For in-depth analysis of particular industries or companies’ ratings, RRC provides a variety of Products.
curious... I too checked out the stockbuyz site and was put off by the pop ups but quickly noticed they had listed at the top of the site;
FREE Pop-up Blocker - Ad-aware - BracketTrader - Mail Washer
did anyone try those?

thanks Ron...I'll give it a shot.
Ron,
I don't want to put it up too high because then you run the risk of getting error messages regarding cookies. I'll just leave well enough alone - thanks.
Try moving it up again.
I had it on the third level and moved it up to the 4th - went back to that site and the pop-ups are still loading. Oh well!
Thanks anyhow!
LOL, well the dolt part I understand, but for the rest try this. http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=915417
Ok, I'm using IE 6.0, here's what you do.
Go to Tools on your menu, then Internet Options, then click the Privacy tab. Under Settings you will find a slide bar that governs how your browser controls cookies, move it up to the fourth position from the bottom or higher when you get pop ups. This should stop them, if not move it higher! Keep in mind that some of the sites will require you to allow cookies to be able to use their site, no problem. While using those sites move it back down to the next to the bottom position. This is easy to do and you don't have to run ad blockers to get rid of pop ups. Let me know if you have any problems.
I was getting popups this AM. Matt told me I was a dolt & it wasn't really happening.. lol.
Cintrix,
Oh well, that sucks...
joby,
I downloaded one of those free ones - might have been the one you mentioned, but my Market Trader wouldn't work right. Etrade told me that it doesn't run with any of the pop-up killer softwares.
Cintrix,
I use PopUp Stopper from Panic -Ware (http://www.panic-ware.com) and it works great. Once in a while, though, you have to disable it but it's worth ut, imo. You can get the free download and try that one.
Which browser are you using?
I get them when I click on the links - and about three pop-ups for each link! Do you have some kind of a pop-up ad killer software? I can't run that software because if I do, my Market Trader doesn't work right. What settings in my browser should I check?
I didn't notice any pop ups, it could be your browser setting cintrix!
It's a good site Ron, kinda reminds me of the old dailystocks.com site, but the pop up adds are enough to make me not use it!
You da maan Ron,thanks,,,,,,,,
Very handy Rick, everything you need in one spot!
Great site Ron,,,,,,,,,,eom
